One Night With The Prince 122 Dinner At The Palace-2

Prince Alex arrived with a smug look plastered on his handsome face. 'If I can get out of this d.a.m.ned party on time, it would be the happiest day of my life.' he thought as he walked in, just in time to see the love of his life being whisked away by none other than... "That b.i.t.c.h!" He exclaimed.

The palace guard and his bodyguard who was following behind him heard it loud and clear; they all stopped following him long enough to take it all in. Once they found their bearing, they continued following Prince Alex, who was rus.h.i.+ng to catch up with Lady Antella taking his princess away.

Lady Antella saw Prince Alex coming from miles away, and she quickly ushered Alexa inside a private room where only the young ladies were allowed. Therefore, he was not allowed to enter where the ladies were hanging out while waiting for dinner to be ready.

Prine Alex was stopped right at the door before he was able to catch up, and he was not happy about it at all.

"What do you mean I can't enter? You better give a good reason, or else!" He was trying his might to intimidate the Palace guard, but it did not work at all.

Apologies your Highness, but this room is designated for the young women only. As per the Queen's order." The guard replied respectfully, then bowed.

Just as he was about to say something, Prince Romano came out of the room designated for the young men. He saw Prince Alex and the contours on his face. His mouth suddenly turned sour. He was going to ignore Prince Alex, but as the Crown Prince to the Kingdom of Spain, it was his duty to greet all the guest without bias.

"Welcome! Your Highness, Prince Alexander. I'm glad you were able to make it." As a sign of courtesy, he extended his hand for a handshake.

"What? No date? What happened to the notorious playboy Prince? Someone finally snagged you?" Prince Romano teases Prince Alex with a smirk on his handsome face.

"My date has already arrived ahead of me if you must know, and I was about to inform her that I'm here, but she went inside there." He pointed towards the room for the young women with disappointment showing on his face.

"So it is true then that you and cousin Antella would be getting married. Hahaha! You do know that she... Right?" Prince Romano was asking if Prince Alex knew that Lady Antella was gay.

Prince Alex neither acknowledged nor denied. He was not in a position to do so. And he promised Lady Antella that he would never admit to anyone that he knew she had been gay for a long time.

"Come, come! Let me take you where all the men are hanging out while you wait." He didn't wait for Prince Alex to reply, he just turned around and went towards the direction of the room where he just stepped out from.

Inside the women's room, Alexa was singled out by everyone. They were all curious about who she was, and why she had the same last name as the United States President and Daniel Grant?

Alexa did her best to avoid the question and found something else to discuss. She kept Lady Antella's attention and talked about whatever she could think of. She asked for some advice on how to be a proper lady, and how she should act in front of the Royal Family.

Lady Antella was more than happy to give her tips, as long as Alexa kept on speaking only with her. When Princess Angelica tried to get Alexa's attention, Lady Antella kept on blocking her; hence, she was getting annoyed by the minute.

Alexa was getting tired of all the attention she was getting and couldn't wait for the dinner to commence. She kept on looking towards the door, hoping that someone would announce that dinner was ready. Lady Antella, on the other hand, was the opposite. She did not want the dinner to be prepared. It was because she knew that when they headed to the dining room, she must act prim and proper, and she hated it to the max.

Alexa's prayers were heard. Someone came and announced to the young ladies to get in an orderly manner and get ready to enter the dining room with their escorts. Outside the room, the young men were all lined up waiting for the young ladies to escort them to the dining room. Daniel, Prince Alex, and Prince Romano were at the front of everyone waiting anxiously for Alexa to come out.

One by one, the ladies came out, and the young men all had their eyes wide open and were gawking at Alexa. Everyone one of them wondered who the pretty damsel was and wanted to get to know her. One, in particular, was the son of the Prime Minister of the Spanish Kingdom. He was about the same age as Alexa, and he was also a very handsome young man. Another one added to Alexa's suitors.

The first to be escorted was Princess Angelica. She was paired with a young Prince from another Country to match their position. The second one was a Princess from another Country who was paired up with Prince Romano.

Prince Romano was not happy about the match, but there was absolutely nothing he could do, due to his obligations. One after the other, they filed into the dining room. However, Prince Alex would not budge. He waited where he was from where he was at until it reached Alexa's turn. When it was Lady Antella's turn, the person in charge asked for Prince Alex to come and escort her.

However, Prince Alex declined with an excuse for some reason. The person in charge let it go and called another Royalty to escort Lady Antella who was giving Prince Alex murderous look.

Prince Alex raised his two hands telling her, he has nothing to do with it then put half a smile on his kissable pink lips.

Finally, it was Alexa's turn, and the person in charge asked for Daniel to escort his sister. Daniel was more than happy to accompany his sister, and he did not want anyone else to do it, especially Prince Alex.

However, just when he was about to reach his sister. Prince Alex came and s.n.a.t.c.hed Alexa's hand then hooked it into his arm and ushered her inside the dining room...

Daniel was stunned for a moment before he went after the two and took Alexa's other hand and hooked it into his elbow as well. Therefore, Alexa ended up having two men escorting her into the dining room.

Everyone turned their heads when they saw Prince Alex, Alexa and Daniel walking in... President Grant couldn't believe his eyes when he saw what was going on, but he had a wide grin on his face. No one knew their real relations.h.i.+p; all they knew was that Alexa was a relative of his. But, what kind... only him and Daniel knew the truth.

President Grant was so proud; hence, he was grinning from ear to ear. His Princess was the most beautiful of them all. He wished he could announce it to the whole world... When Daniel and Alexa came to his side and greeted him, he acted calm and collected.

President Grant introduced Daniel and Alexa to the King, Queen, Mr. and Mrs. Prime Minister and their son without mentioning their last name or relations.h.i.+p with each other. Therefore, everyone became more curious but were unable to voice it nor ask any question in front of everyone watching.

Everyone was finally seated at the dining table. It was a very long table with the King seating at one end and the Queen on the other end. At the right side of the King was President Grant and on his left was the Prime Minister of the Spanish Kingdom.

Daniel sat next to his father, then Alexa, and Prince Alex made sure he sat right next to her. Next to him was Lady Antella, so on and so forth. From the Queen's side, Prince Romano was seated on the left, and on the right was Princess Angelica.

The dinner was extravagant, and everyone had enjoyed every morsel, except for Prince Romano and Princess Angelica, who was seated far away from Alexa.

Lady Antella was not happy either to have Prince Alex in between her and Alexa. She couldn't wait for dinner to be over. She thought that she would have more chances to interact with Alexa. Unfortunately, once the dinner was over, the Grant family decided to have an early night.

President Grant did not want to stay longer than required. Therefore, as soon as the dinner was over and everyone went to the Palace ballroom for some music and dancing, he made an excuse that he had to fly back early and wanted to have an early night.

When Daniel heard his father, he quickly followed through and made an excuse as well. Therefore, the First Family left as soon as the dinner was over, leaving so many Royalties unhappy... Namely, Prince Alex, Prince Romano, Princess Angelica, and Lady Antella... Along with the son of the Prime Minister...

Prince Alex was feeling the worst of them all. He wanted to spend a little more time with his princess, but Daniel Grant did not give him a chance at all. He did not know what the real relations.h.i.+p between the two was, but one thing he knew for sure was that... The two were not lovers.

Whatever kind of relations.h.i.+p they had, he did not care. What he cared for was Alexa, and for her to become his princess no matter what it takes...

Unknown to everyone, somewhere in the Palace were Ramon Le Grand and Lady Lucy Le Grand.

Once they realized that President Grant was attending, they quickly excused themselves and observed from within the Palace without the First Family of the United States of America know.
