"That's the end of the first day of single matches, however, do not leave yet. Another match will be held in just a few minutes." he said

"What? Another match?" someone said as he yawned slowly

"What? Weren't the top 10 supposed to be sitting out?" that same student who shouted everytime during the battles the week before said

"You idiot! They are allowed to battle each other, just not partic.i.p.ate when the rest of us are."

Some students who had already got up from their seats instantly sat back down onto their seats as if they were glued to it. w.a.n.g Tao and Chen Jingyi then walked down to the field and stood on opposite sides as they faced each other

"Battle of the top 10 between w.a.n.g Tao and Chen Jingyi begin!" the referee said into his mic

Instantly, with a flash of gold and blue light, w.a.n.g Tao's Blackgold Python Tiger was summoned out in full fighting force. On the other side, a dark pink and slightly silver light flashed at the same time with Chen Jingyi's demon in its transformed state

w.a.n.g Tao made the first move as his Blackgold Python Tiger lifted up its front right paw and slammed it down into the ground as a thin layer of golden ice slowly thickened as it enveloped the entire stadium causing even those in the crowd spectating to feel the chill

Since he had no real way of dealing with her s.p.a.ce element, w.a.n.g Tao could only do his best to give himself a better chance against her extremely rare element. Chen Jingyi's Demon Marshal moved into the void as if the ice didn't affect it as it disappeared from the stage

When it appeared again behind the Blackgold Python Tiger, w.a.n.g Tao antic.i.p.ated this as large spears of ice pierced into the sky behind it. The Demon Marshal dodged by entering the void once again then appeared behind it once again

This time, w.a.n.g Tao surrounded himself with ice from all directions creating a dome of golden ice that protected him from all attacks. Within his ice dome, w.a.n.g Tao's Blackgold Python Tiger could see everything that happened outside the dome whilst no one else could peer inside

The demon smashed its claws against the dome which cracked with each hit but at the same time, the ice dome regenerated just as fast as the attacks
