I just realized everyone from Rhonyan's family start with R.

Rhonya, Robert (brother), Ronard (gfather), Ramo (ex-butler), Ryuze! *No s.h.i.+rori you're drunk.

Anyways, enjoy ^_^” though i'm not too sure this is right for this date. haha.

“I've been waiting for you, Rhonya”

Clad in a mantel with golden ornaments, a beautiful man. His ears are pointy, which means he's an elf. A pure white skin like snow, and eyebrows which gives off an vibe of a serious person, blue eyes and pink supple lips. The long s.h.i.+ning white platinum hair is put up in a half-up style.

This characteristics of white platinum-ish golden blonde hair and blue eyes like the sparkles of stars are none other shows that they come from royalty among the elves.

He is, indeed, the little brother of the King of Galatia, the elf renowned as a warrior.

"Orphias-sama… It has been a while since we met"

Making a smile with all my might, I give my greetings. Taking care to not exaggeratedly bring out a forced smile, while holding back my hair from being disarray from the breeze. The reason why would be…. I actually can't handle him well.

Although I have been acquainted with Orphias-sama from before, it was to the extent of exchanging greetings in social parties.

Most of the knowledge I have of him comes from the novel I read.

Bringing numerous victories, a warrior elf who etched his name in history.

Taking up the sword for the sake of his sister Lunatiorsama, the Queen, the hero who protected the elven country.

The impetus which brought us talking to each other like this were the several times where we met in this cliff. And it seems, this place is where Orphias-sama takes a breather from his work.

Thus, it would be unexpected to meet him in this place. But he, he said that he was waiting for me. I wonder what that would mean.

Orphias-sama approached me, and held out the ribbon in his hand. Receiving it with both my hands, my hands were gently grasped by him.

"Spirits, Rotos. Please let me talk to her alone for a little while" conveyed Orphias to the Rotos by my feet. There was no hesitation with the shy Rotos towards Orphias-sama, they made a nod and quickly dived into the sea of lotus flowers.

"A talk, would be?"

To have something to discuss with me who am not a n.o.ble any longer, I could not possibly comprehend the motive, but I kept up the smile and tried asking.

Orphias-sama who still held my hand then bend down on one knee. His mantel which softly swayed on top of the lotus garden, and his long hair which fluttered from the wind which s.h.i.+ned like jewels.

"Is there anything wrong? Orphias-sama"

"I am fully aware of how you would still be hurt from the recent break of relations.h.i.+p with Schneider, but I wish you could consider this" His blue eyes which then looked upward, sparkled like the stars in the sky blinking in golden color. I could feel pa.s.sion in those eyes at that moment, where Orphias-sama then continued on.

"From the first day I met you in this place, I was attracted to you. Although I had resolved to keep this feelings within myself for you have an engagement with Schneider, but I would not ruin such a good chance with the possibility of having you being my side for life. Could you, would you be my wife?"

A marriage proposal from an honorable elf warrior.

I was instantly lost for words. I was disarrayed and confused, but the need to quickly answer his question made me work my head around it.

Down on my knees as well, I looked to Orphias-sama from an equal line of sight. I squeeze the words out of my mouth while trembling.

"I- I am truly sorry… Orphias-sama…" Although nervous, I clearly declined.

Looking at Orphias-sama whose eyes widened up, I avoided his gaze.

"….I am not looking for an immediate answer. Please consider this carefully before giving me an answer, though you might not be thinking of being together with anyone right now."

To think that Orphias-sama has feelings for me. There was never any approach from him either, and to begin with, we never talked much when meeting each other at this cliff and he would just stare at the Rotos and me who were sitting down or lying down for a rest.

"The honor is more than I could ever deserve"

"I don't think there's anyone who doesn't deserve a proposal"

"But, I had my engagement annulled by the son of the king's little brother, and have no home to go back to. It would be inappropriate for me to be with Orphias-sama, a hero."

"Don't belittle yourself. My country views a person by their skills. No matter what your past was, your strength will speak for itself"

"I do not have any intent to go back to being a n.o.ble but…"

"I'm not forcefully telling you to go back. Leaving that aside, why are you avoiding my eyes from just now! If you have any reason to decline this proposal, just speak honestly!"

Orphias-sama saw through the excuses I had made, and pressed me for answers, which brought me to s.h.i.+vers. If possible, I would like to avoid from having to tell the honest truth, but I have no choice but to confess now.

"I- I am… I actually cannot handle Orphias-sama well"

As I took a sneak peek at Orphias-sama's reaction, it looked like he swallowed an extreme shock. Feeling guilty, I closed my eyes again.

"W-why…?"

"….Orphias-sama is… a straightforward person… All the wrongdoings, the flaws, you definitely point them out perfectly. But that… It reminds me of the brother I am not good with, you feel similar to Robert-oniisama."

Thanks to our meeting at this cliff, I was lectured by Orphias-sama in swordsmans.h.i.+p several times. He who has a speech pattern quite similar to Robert-oniisama, makes my heart beat in nervousness. To say, I know that Orphias-sama does not dislike me, but nevertheless, I can't handle him well.

"…My words, have they hurt your heart….?" While finis.h.i.+ng his words, Orphias-sama realized he had been holding onto my hand and released it.

"I, I am truly sorry. Orphias-sama is not in the wrong…. It is just, from your strict att.i.tude, it reminds me of Robert-oniisama…."

Different from Robert-oniisama who plainly berates/scorn me no matter what it is, Orphias-sama do recognize my effort. Even if the way he speaks feels strict, they are definitely not the same. And I am fully aware of this.

"Compared to the words from Robert-oniisama who scorns people, Orphias-sama who wholeheartedly faces a person is definitely different from him. But even so, I…. I am sorry but, I have never considered Orphias-sama as someone of the opposite s.e.x."

To reject him because I can't handle him well and that he's similar to my brother is too much. But this is how I truly feel. As I move my gaze upward, I felt relief from seeing his face which looked like he was hurt.

"Orphias-sama…?"

Gradually his eyebrows furrowed, and hung his head down with a hurtful expression. Unable to voice out anything, I continued looking at him, until he suddenly breaked the ice while saying,

"….Sorry, I'll come back again"

Silently standing back up and facing away from me, he went away from the cliff. While seeing off the painful looking back, I felt crushed by a sense of guilt.

I shouldn't have said he felt like my brother. But being pressed into a corner by Orphias-sama, I felt that I had to confess the truth.

PSS:Okay, the LN says ‘her hair flutter from the wind' but if you think rationally, in reality it means your hair goes crazy. Not like beautiful rhonyan here ? I LOLed hard.
