When he realized, Kai was in an ocean of clouds.
"…Not.. the Graveyard…?"
Repeatedly he looked around the place. The place's atmosphere was different from the dim and dark Graveyard. The place was like a world full of the ocean of clouds till the end of the sky. To ill.u.s.trate it would be that everything in the surface of the world is filled with cotton. To add, the clouds were not pure white, but it was s.h.i.+ning in 7 colors.
"What is this place… And what's with this pathway…"
An infinite pathway made of stone, the side edges with ancient carvings of stone pillars built in an interval of several tens of meters, as if an ancient shrine.
It is a wonder, who or what kind of person would use this pathway.
"Humans? Or maybe… the Foreign Deities.. Since I remember there were records of elves and dwarves building fortresses larger than what humans can build."
But this is the Graveyard for Demons. They Graveyard for the Foreign Deities is located elsewhere, and their ruins looks different from what Kai ever saw.
"…A special s.p.a.ce made by the Demons?"

How much time had pa.s.sed? An hour? Two? He continued walking until his senses turned numb.

A figure of a camp that soared towering can be seen from his sight. He rushed towards the wide s.p.a.ce of the altar. Running through the stairs which was less than ten steps, there stood a round marble pillar of three which soared up to the sky.
In the center of it.
"….a girl?"
The girl was crucified on one of the pillars as if she is sacrificed for some sort of ritual.
The blonde girl with both her hands chain up, her eyes covered by a thin chain.
"….Who…is.. there…"
Did she hear Kai's footsteps.
The girl chained on the pillar raised her head, her body chained up so much that she could not move.
"Please…"
With a hoa.r.s.e voice, she spoke.
"…Help me.. Remove these chains…."
