Chapter 5 An Utterly Worthless Thing? An Order? An Imperial Yellow Jacket?

I served him free meals and provided him with accommodations, but he didn’t appreciate it at all; I cooked for him for free, but he detested it; and now, I, the most unlucky girl in the whole world, have to wash his dishes!

Jiang Senyuan deliberately turned the faucet to its maximum volume, which made a loud running sound. Fine, Leng Muxuan, you just made me make an exception! She had never been so extreme about such a mundane task, but she couldn’t stand the irritating sound of his gagging anymore. It was like he thought she was filthy!

But being angry couldn’t solve the problem. After Jiang Senyuan tidied up the kitchen, she tidied up the hall again. Looking at how Leng Muxuan leisurely lounged on the sofa while he watched TV, there were several times that she couldn’t help but feel crazy! What the h.e.l.l?! Whose house was this after all?! Who was the host?! And now she was such a nanny!

Jiang Senyuan could only repeat over and over again, “He’s a kleptomaniac, he’s a kleptomaniac. . . ” And she was putting up with it! For the sake of the disabled and in order to maintain a good social image, she had no choice but to take care of this poor orphan patient and transform him into a good man! Jiang Senyuan helplessly encouraged herself with all the ideological, moral, and political knowledge she had learned. After all, she’d met Leng Muxuan! But maybe the energy box of Jiang Senyuan’s pa.s.sion had somehow broken down. Her pa.s.sion had just been aroused, and then, the energy box was no longer working. Jiang Senyuan’s face, which the last moment was just like a brilliant spring with a tinge of crimson, had changed into a bitter melon face as a scream came out from Leng Muxuan’s bedroom. “Oh, Jesus! Jiang Senyuan! Don’t you even make your bed? How can I go to sleep?”

Jiang Senyuan’s legs went weak and she almost fell down. Fortunately, she supported herself with the mop in her hand, and said, “What are you talking about? Why should I be blamed for not making your bed? My young master, you really treat me like a servant! Have you ever met a servant who gives food, shelter, and orders for free, and can even be taken out on?!” She finished these words in one breath, almost biting her own tongue in the process.

But Leng Muxuan felt little sympathy for her. He just sat down on the side of the chair, and said, “If you won’t make the bed for me, then I won’t go to sleep.”

“Fine by me! Don’t making a bed as if it’s an order from on high!” Jiang Senyuan picked up the mop and wanted to leave.

But then, Leng Muxuan’s cold voice came again. “Then let me go now; I’m going to steal something!”

Jiang Senyuan stopped at once, and a shadow pa.s.sed over her face. “Well, I admit that the utterly worthless thing is better than an imperial yellow jacket!” She returned, put the mop aside, and began to make the bed for Leng Muxuan.

She really doubted whether this guy was from the orphanage or not; it looked like he was a young master who led an easy life with everything provided! Ah, how could she even think of such a thing? All of the young masters at Sakura Academy drove either a Ferrari or a Land Rover, and how could a young master be a thief who was chased by the police all over the street?

Jiang Senyuan made the bed for Leng Muxuan quickly, smoothing the folds of the quilt carefully, and she even directly helped him spread the quilt. The only thing that he needed to do was actually get into the bed.

He watched her series of movements and suddenly felt that she was not as savage as she’d seemed; instead, she turned out to be like an innocent and cute little girl.

Most of the time, he always considered her an idiot. For now, innocence could be approximately equal to idiocy. No girl would be idiotic enough to take a man home from off the streets—especially one who was being chased by the police.

After serving Leng Muxuan for a long time, it was very late when Jiang Senyuan went to bed. She fell asleep almost at once. Even after  having worked at a fast food restaurant, she was more tired now than ever.

The bright moonlight came in through the window, and there was no shadow at all on the gray Winnie the Pooh quilt. However, the person under the quilt had a dark side within them. Leng Muxuan suddenly sat up from the bed, and then quietly went to the bedroom next door.

The dark figure on the ground moved like a ghost, and the door creaked slightly as it closed. Leng Muxuan frowned. He had never done such a dirty thing, even though he was not a favorite in the Leng family. It was supposed to be a simple plan, but now he had to get completely into character! He couldn’t figure out the reason at all.

Leng Muxuan walked gently to Jiang Senyuan’s bed; the soft light shone on her quiet and beautiful face, and he unexpectedly froze for an instant. The little girl was actually so beautiful when she wasn’t speaking. But the task was more important; he s.h.i.+fted his look quickly and targeted the bag lying by the side of the bed.
