I stood dazedly in front of a large quant.i.ty of tonjiru and rice raising a fragrant smell.

As expected, I couldn't leave things as they were if I was going on a business trip for 1 month.

While grumbling a complaint, I gathered my luggage and thrust my feet into low-heeled pumps.

The moment I opened the door forcefully, a fierce bang resounded.

It appears the sound from before was the neighbor violently opening his door.

「For me, anpan! And handmade tonjiru!」

「Get me pizza toast! And handmade tonjiru!」

「Curry bread for me! And handmade tonjiru!」

「I want walnut bread! And handmade tonjiru!」

「Get french bread for me! And handmade tonjiru!」

The man who left from the door turned around and roared in reply!

「Shut the f.u.c.k up, as if I can remember all that! Also, the bakery doesn't have stuff like tonjiru, you dumba.s.ses!!!」5

It was a remarkable scene of chaos.

Incidentally this area, though it's in the 23rd ward of Tokyo, it's comparably rural.

To clarify how rural, there aren't any convenience stores within a 2km radius.

There was only an oddly whimsical bakery.

Presumably he was going to that bakery to buy things.

「Ahー……I'm sick of bread. I wanna eat riceー!!」

From the adjoining room, though I'm unsure whether it was heartrending or idiotic, I heard an ambiguous conversation.

This was G.o.d's whimsy! That, or the kami-samas residing in rice were telling me not to cast them away…… The result of them breaking down in tears.

By the way, I've never met my neighbors face to face.
