The candle flame gently swayed, the light s.h.i.+ning on the large “happiness” character on the wall. A sweet-smelling incense diffused smoke that rose up in spirals. In the background, a red candle illuminated the room, making the atmosphere more enchanting. Beside the dark red bed stood a figure with wide shoulders, a narrow waist and long black hair that was not tied. He wore a red gown, seizing the attention of others.

On the bed that was obstructed by the youth sat a person that also wore a red gown. The person’s hands were faintly visible underneath.

Silent for a while, Li JinZhi was still thinking about what to say when the hand firmly grasped his lapel, the s.h.i.+ning and white phalanx suddenly issuing force. The owner of the hand quickly flipped his body, pressing him on the bed with a thump.

Ye DieEr’s slender eyebrows slightly knitted, his eyes sneering,  “Hah, you thought that me accompanying you, marrying you and helping you bind your hair at the coming of age ceremony was because I loved you?”

The sound is like a spinning wheel that did not turn for years, hoa.r.s.e, but it was not hard to tell that it’s the voice of a man!

The voice stopped when a coloured icicle flew from between “her” eyebrows, launching itself at the s.p.a.ce between Li JinZhi’s eyebrows――

Li JinZhi once again looked through the comments below but they were all tbe same, except with slight differences. They were all readers that came out because of the amazingly explosive turn of events. He slowly took off his gla.s.ses, leaning against the headboard before calmly picking up his phone, reading the next chapter. Anyway, he should first check what other wicked trick the author has.

Li JinZhi, stunned, looked at the man before him. His eyebrows are still the same gentle ones, his eyes still the same he’s so familiar with, but this deep and sharp gaze is not the one he knows so well.
