Claude's POV

There are so many things bugging on my mind right now. So many things that I don't know what to think first.

Sade

Aiden

And

Cenedy

Aiden is the least person I know that would let himself hurt for others. If you'll ask who's the most selfish person I know I would say it's Aiden.

He plays dirty games. You think he is the type of person that's easy to befriend with because of his smiles and how he talks to you.

In the end, you'll realize that you've been deceived.

You will end up telling him your entire being without noticing. That's what he did to Rhoanne and Victoria.

He is one of the people who is hard to read.

I fully understand him when I visited their place. He is not close even to his parents. He is also doesn’t get along with his siblings knowing that he is the youngest. He is always confined to his room and just asks the servants to bring his food to his room.

So I was surprised when he protected Cenedy. He is the last person I know that would do that.

I know Aiden fully. But the question right now is…

Who is Cenedy?

"You know exactly the reason why I did that Cenedy." That was the last thing I heard in their conversation before I left.

And what is that reason?

Why would he risk his life for a Scape?

And above all, why am I here outside the window of Cenedy?

She's peacefully sleeping right now. She's a sleeps strangely. The position on how she sleep earlier is the same until now.

I was here the moment she closes her eyes.

She is so mysterious. I did some background check on her.

Such common Sciell and their daughter Cenedy Aceil Holsden holding no Sceill.

What does she have to do with Aiden? Aiden who is one of the Majes and his family who belong to the top ten Aristocrats.

"Who is she?" I ask the only person who might know her and it's her roommate Clover.

Shock is evident on her face. I'm in her room right now and I know she is wondering why I am here in her room.

"C…Cl…Claude? Why are you in my room?" What else would be her reaction? If a Claude Vyel Cynnvoc visits a Gein room.

"I said who is she?" Why do I need to repeat myself in front of others?

"Who are you talking about?" She asks confusedly.

"Cenedy, she's your friend right?" I notice the change in her face.

"So you met Cenedy." She smirks.

"I guess there's someone who finally noticed my human puzzle…"

Puzzle? What does she mean?

"Do you know that my hobby is to know the secrets of the people that surround me. I was called the eye of this Academy."

I'm startled by what she said. So she is The Eye of this school. I am surprised because she didn't hesitate to admit it to me.

The Eye. She is the only person who knew all of the students of this school. She'he knows everything even the darkest secret of the clan of a Sceillian that is studying in this academy. Its ident.i.ty is one h.e.l.l of a secret.

"I choose her to be my roommate to watch her." She sigh. Now I noticed dark circles in her eyes.

"Watch her?"

"Yes, because she is the only student I don't have a background. Her parents’ name, occupation and Sceill are my only knowledge. Besides that nothing else."

Her records start when she was twelve. But when she was born up until eleven years old is blank. No medical records or even educational records. Like she was just born six years ago.

My curiosity to about her increases. How did that happen? Cenedy just puff out of somewhere?

"Being her roommate was not a coincidence. I thought that if I'm close to her I will get know her. But that never happened. Her entire being sinks more deeply. So many questions. She is never a threat because she is a Scape. But the fact that no one knows about her is something that the school is concerned about." She continued speaking.

"Are you saying that the Academy is keeping an eye on her?" That's unexpected. The fact that she is a Scape is enough to leave a person who is not doing anything… for now.

"Yes, since the day they know that she is a Scape." She answered.

"What?"

"You know, they believe that being a Scape is just a theory. She is the first in history. If there are Scapes before but they are just written in history books. For short she is the only evidence that being a Scape is true. That it's possible that a Sceillian could lose its power."

"Are yu saying that she is kind of an experiment for the Academy?" I don't think I like what I learned.

"You could say that. But we couldn't do that if just only her background we are already clueless." Why can't they just leave the girl alone? I feel a pang within me.

"What if you can't gain anything from her?"

"Enough for your questions Cynnvoc. When did you get interested to about Ceny?" She folds her arms on her chest.

I just smirk. I thought she knew all the answers knowing that she is the Eye of the school?

"Find it yourself Eye."

And I left. I really don't like the mysteries around Cenedy. I just know for now that…

She is my master…

And

I am her guardian.
