The Empress' Poor Quality Special Effects Chapter 17

College happened so I haven't been to release this chapter as planned. As of now, I'll only be able to release around the days I have break. The next release will be around Thanksgiving break which would be around November 28th. The next next release will be around Christmas. Then I'll be on a month break but I'm planning to work during that month so release schedule has yet to be determined.

Chapter 17 First time meeting, please take care of me

Old Madam lets out a sigh, her face full of warmth and not coldness. "Aiya, this really is a blessing from your yiniang."

Liu s.h.i.+ starts to feel resentful, just looking at the old woman's expression she just knows! This old woman just like useful grandchildren, seeing that Wu SheYue's skin has taken a turn for the better and can marry high later on. Amongst the legitimate children, not being able to be above Wu LiuYun is fine. Amongst the illegitimate children, there is that Wu JingHua who is more beautiful than her daughter by a little which is enough to have her and LiXiang be bullied. Now, there is a Wu SheYue who overshadows Wu JingHua…….how, how is she supposed to live these days!

T/N: When I say marry high, I mean that she will be able to marry into a family that has a higher status than her own aka a prince. 

On the other hand, Madam becomes even more indifferent. Afterall, she is the legal wife so she has to show the right att.i.tude in this situation.

Originally, Meng yiniang already hates Yin QiuMing, she still stares at Wu SheYue's face to say, "Old Madam, I think that there is something wrong with this. If Yin meimei made an appearnace in her dreams to make a request, it shouldn't have been yesterday night. Yesterday afternoon, Third Miss acted different compared to her usual behavior."

"Oh?" Old Madam glances at her a little and knows that Meng s.h.i.+ is holding back some words and wants to complain to her.

Meng yiniang pulls on Wu JingHua who goes forward a little. Old Madam sees Wu JingHua's eye-catching dress up and sighs. "Aiya, Why do you look so haggard JingHua? Come and let grandmother have a look."

Wu JingHua's heart finally steadies a little. She slowly walks to Old Madam's side. Wu LiXiang who hasn't been able to get a word in can't resist rolling her eyes. Isn't it just becoming a laughingstock and wanting to win some sympathy from grandmother, such lowly tactics. 

Before Old Madam can ask, Wu SheYue cuts off Wu JingHua's mouth that is about to complain, "Second (older) sister came to the mourning hall to take a look at me yesterday. It's probably because she was also full of grievances?" 

"You——" Wu JingHua almost yelled back at her. 

As expected Wu HanTian did not fail Wu SheYue's expectations. In a moment he grasped onto the important point and coldly says, "Didn't I say that no one is allowed to go to the mourning hall."

Wu JingHua trembles. Meng yiniang quickly stands out. "Isn't this Wu JingHua having a good heart, she was worried about Third Miss. Don't be angry."

Madam lightly says, "She is right, Prime Minister, it's not like it's a big deal."

Wu HanTian hmphs and doesn't speak anymore.

Wu JingHua quickly pitifully grabs onto Old Madam's hand, full of grief she says, "Right, right, Yin yiniang left like this. I just felt that Third (younger) sister is too pitiful. I disobeyed father to take a look at Third (younger) sister but she actually treated me that way yesterday, she went too far." 

"What did she do to you?" Although Old Madam is able to see through Meng yiniang's thoughts, but she really cherishes these few grandchildren of hers. This Wu SheYue…….

"Wuwuwu, grandmother. JingHua has suffered grievances~Yesterday, Third (younger) sister beat up Chun Tao to the point where every part of her body was injured. I went to ask Third (younger) sister why she beat Chun Tao up, but she……."Wu JingHua turns around, she looks at Wu SheYue with fear, "She pushed me to the ground and beat me up too!"

"There was such a thing?" The rejoice that Old Madam just had for Wu SheYue was dampened quite a lot. Wu LiuYun is the child that she had placed high hopes on. The illegitimate children are also treasures to her, losing one makes her heart ache.

At this moment, Old Madam didn't think that if there was no switch in the souls, the real Third Miss would not have been able to beat up the well-fed Chun Tao. 

Wu SheYue was just about to mention this matter but Wu JingHua knows that right now Wu SheYue will not able to put in a good word so she rushed to continue complaining tearfully. "She also force fed be spoiled rice with flies and told me to eat it down——"

"Urp——" 

This time Wu JingHua was able to hold it back but Old Madam was not able to. Old Madam leans to one side and takes the opportunity to pull out the hand being held by Wu JingHua to put it over her chest. Wu JingHua was suprised that she was being disliked. 

Seeing this, Wu HanYian stands up and gently pats Old Madam's back. Wu LiuYun who usually is too lazy to care about the concubines, wrinkled her brows, showing a look of digusts.

Seeing Old Madam showing dislike, Liu s.h.i.+ pats her chest and quietly says to Wu LiXiang, "Aiya, it's a good thing we didn't eat anything because we didn't have an appet.i.te this morning."

Madam coldy says, "JingHua, told tell every disgusting matter to your grandmother."

Wu SheYue touches her nose. She heard from NingEr that usually they are as one to bully their West Courtyard but right now they are pulling the rug from each other's feet. 

Old Madam finally is able to calm herself, and turn around to face Wu JingHua. She feels as if there is a scent. 

Meng yiniang becomes pale, she had not thought of the possibility of that Old Madam will be the first to dislike JingHua. But right there is no use for regret, everything has been said. Right now if Wu SheYue is not taken care of, then them mother and daughter was tormented for nothing! Thinking of this, Meng yiniang starts to cry as she stands up. "My JingHua, really is pitiful. Ever since yesterday night, she hasn't been able to eat anything……."

Wu HanTian gently pats Old Madan's back while turning his head around to angrily rebuke Wu SheYue. "You did this?"

"Yesterday's matter, YueEr is not able to remember anymore, only remember what happened after I woke up." Wu SheYue timidly raises her head to say, "Just that…….Second (older) sister, how come the mourning hall has spoiled rice? NingEr told me that father ordered that the mourning hall is to have no rice and the like. YueEr has been resisting, even now, hasn't eaten yet~how about have NingEr come in and you can ask her?"
