Zhu Feng lied at the head of the bed in the dim light and only his bright, restrained eyes sparkled. Revealing a near-dangerous light.

Nan Yan stood at the head of the bed and whispered: “Your Highness still has something to command?”

Unknowingly, his anger had died down. But at this time, it resurfaced again.

Because of the cold expression on her face, and her eyes showing that cold demeanor.

Nothing actually happened in the carriage, but her att.i.tude infuriated him. It was only when he watched her faint at the door of the Jian Fu; the people inside quickly opening the door to carry her into the building, as well as inviting him in, that that affair was tossed to the back of his head.

But now, the anger was rising up again.

But no matter how he felt, he could not unleash his anger onto her.

Towards other people, he could easily kill no matter who it was and their status. But towards this docile woman who acted cautious and timid near him, he suddenly realized that he had no idea what to do with her. Especially after he had told her that she would never be able to climb onto his bed.

This was the first time in his life he felt utterly helpless.

The two of them stared at each other in the dull and gloomy atmosphere. After who knows how long, Nan Yan finally heard Zhu Feng's cold voice: "Sit down."

Nan Yan hurriedly sat on the bed.

But, after speaking those words, the people on the bed fell into eternal silence once more. Nan Yan felt like she was all alone in Wu Ying Palace.

The night lasted just like that. Only that regardless of her being awake or sleepy, Nan Yan could hear the clear breathing of the man behind her.

Finally, dawn came.

Nan Yan curled up at the head of the bed. When she woke up, her vision was blurred by the sunlight coming through the window. Not far from where she laid, she spotted the figure of a human-like shadow with her half-closed eyes.

She opened her eyes at once and saw that Zhu Feng had already started dressing up.She hurried to her feet but alas, her feet were strained .As soon as she got up, she stumbled and fell.

“Ah!”

Giving out a low cry, she was about to fall to the ground when a hand came up and held her.

Looking up, she found Zhu Feng looking down at her.

In the sunlight, Zhu Feng face was blurry, as it was probably too dazzling. Nan Yan became  somewhat absent minded staring at his face.

But she returned to herself at once and hurriedly took a step back. Standing firm against the wall, she said: “Your Highness, please forgive me!”.

Zhu Feng's outstretched hands stopped. Looking at Nan nYan's face, it was as if she was afraid of his touch. The anger that had already been extinguished started to burn again.

Did she take him as a monster?

He clenched his fist, his fingers protesting loudly. But when he thought of the Jian family, he bit his tongue and pressed down his anger.

'Wait until the Jian Fu matter is solved, I will be back for you!' Zhu Feng thought.

Just then, Ye Zheng came in: “w.a.n.g Ye!”

Zhu Feng turned around, his eyes naturally fierce. When Ye Zheng looked at him, he was scared s.h.i.+tless that he could not say anything.

Who had provoked the Prince?

He took a look at Nan Yan standing at the corner. He couldn't help but feel a bit of a panic. Could it be that she had again annoyed the prince?

The Jian Family was not even finished yet!

At this time, Zhu Feng coldly asked: “What is it?”

Ye Zheng hurried forward and said: “w.a.n.g Ye, there is a group of ministers outside of Canopy Hall, th—“

His words were not finished, when Zhu Feng coldly said again, “Tell them that this king is not at home now.”

Ye Zheng painstakingly replied: “w.a.n.g Ye, they did not come to pet.i.tion! This is a group of scholars, and they know that w.a.n.g Ye sent troops to encircle the Jian Household, thus they have come specially to plead.”
