Lu Zhi placed the fruit platter in front of Lin Ci. “Little Ci, have some. It’s almost time for lunch, so stay and eat with us.”

“These are all third-year papers. Are you… really only five years old?”

Moreover, the test papers had already been done. From the handwriting, it did seem like it was written by a child.

Lin Ci was not fooled by his smile. She stood up and said, “I’ll go take a look at your sister.”

Lu Jingzhi instantly hopped down. “Wait a minute, I think I made a mistake just now. Sister, help me take a look again!”

He held onto Lin Ci, and she turned to look at him. This time, she did not follow him to explain the questions to him; instead, she stared at him—an intense glint in her eyes—and asked, “Is your sister not in her room at all?”
