Apprehension appeared in the Wave King a.s.sa.s.sin's eyes, but he did not lose calm, and the power of the Law of Wind covered his body, allowing him to transform into a dark stream of wind, pa.s.sing through the Blood Champions.

The combined attacks of Surin, Roric, Martin, and Sebastian made a ma.s.sive hole in the wall, making the entire underground cavern tremble, but it failed to harm the Wave King.

Dread appeared in the Wave King's eyes when he saw the physical might of the four Blood Champions, and knew he would have ended with severe wounds had those landed on him. However, now he was out of danger, having gained distance to launch his attack freely.

Or at least that was what the Wave King a.s.sa.s.sin thought since his instincts began to tremble when he pa.s.sed beneath the ceiling left full of holes by the fight between Cain and Surin.

The Wave King a.s.sa.s.sin looked up and saw how a s.h.i.+ning light emerged from the hole left behind by the punches of the duo. His sight was strong enough to notice the round artifacts embedded into the ceiling, and he immediately figured out what they were.

'¡Bombs!'

"BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM!"

All those bombs exploded at the same time, generating a blast of fire that pushed the Wave King into the ground.

The flames did not do much damage since the might of the explosions spread in all directions, but they were never meant to defeat him.

"CRACK!"

Awe and stupefaction appeared in the eyes of the Wave King a.s.sa.s.sin when he saw the ceiling of the underground cave shattering, allowing tons of magma from the upper level to fall on him!

'RUN!'

That was the only thought that appeared in the Wave King's mind, but before he could make a move, a white b.e.s.t.i.a.l claw crashed down on him.

Immediately, the Wave King a.s.sa.s.sins clasped his hands, generating a vortex that stopped the claw from pus.h.i.+ng him to the ground. A sharp light appeared in his eyes as he felt the power of the claw and turned to the distance.

Shura's eyes were bleeding as she used all her power in that attack. While Cain and the others attacked the Wave King a.s.sa.s.sin, leading this one to the bombs, she charged her energy and unleashed every ounce of it in that claw.

The spell could not harm the Wave King a.s.sa.s.sin, but it managed to immobilize this one long enough for the tons of magma to fall on him!

Shura immediately flashed toward Cain and the Blood Champion, using what little remained of her energy. That last attack had drained her completely, and she could no longer fight.

The young woman looked at the falling magma with a large smile before glancing at Cain with awe and admiration. She was not alone since the same emotions could be seen in the Blood Champions.

All of them remembered when Cain informed them about the presence of the Wave King a.s.sa.s.sin inside the underground cave. At the same time, he made the pile of human heads appear.

The reaction of Shura and the Blood Champions was due to the immense hiding inside the cave, not the gory scene of the heads.

Cain knew they might be unable to keep their composure, so he made the heads appear, keeping the facade for the Wave King.

He then detailed how they would take care of the man. Every step of the plan was made to confuse the Wave King a.s.sa.s.sin, not allowing this one to know their next step until it was too late.
