If there is one who knew the current overall state of Hei Anjing's situation it would only be System Yang who had always been with him since birth. After all, even he had to leave after he died once as Xia Jieye. 

Ye Xiajie asked System Yang about what could be done to stabilize the state of his wife's soul.

"Is there a way to help him stabilize his current state?" asked Ye Xiajie.

System Yang answered, "There is a way. Lord G.o.d Ye needs to pour a large amount of life force or energy into Lord Hei's body. The purer the energy is, the better it would help him calm down his state."

Ye Xiajie wanted to offer his qi but he remembered that his qi at this moment was pure Yin. In short, it is more of negative energy. Something that could cause death instead of life force. It wasn't compatible with his wife's soul force. He could convert it to yang qi but a lot of energy would be wasted in the process. He must find something that would help him directly gather life force to sustain his wife's soul.

It was at this moment the quiet System Yue spoke out.

"My Lord, I have a suggestion," said Zhi Yue.

Ye Xiajie gestured for him to continue speaking.

Zhi Yue spoke, "My Lord, do you remember the hidden mission? It was about the source of this village's strength. I had researched information about that event. The Spirit Race is reversing a Corrupted World Tree. It's just a sapling but after that it becomes a fallen. It gained the skill of devouring and replenis.h.i.+ng. It eats life forces of anything that was sacrificed on it and most sacrifices are human players that are unable to leave this Labyrinth."

"I see. I think it is better to sacrifice the whole Spirit race and people in this village for my wife. I will be back soon." said Ye Xiajie as he suddenly left the dimensional s.p.a.ce which they owned as a couple.

As soon as Ye Xiajie disappeared, Zhi Yue and Zhi Yang were stunned while the former even felt guilty as this was his suggestion after all.

Zhi Yue asked, "A-A'Yang, did I just cause the extinction of the Spirit Race in this place?" He had an innocent expression on his face when he asked his counterpart.

Zhi Yang paused for a moment before patting Zhi Yue's head and said, "Nope. You were extremely helpful for Lord Hei's current state. This way Lord Hei's soul would be more stable in this world and the Lord G.o.d wouldn't have mood swings which would endanger the whole world."

"Really? But what if the spirit race were all killed in progress?" asked Zhi Yue.

Zhi Yang replies, "No worries. I and you have different priorities than the others. Our Master's are our top priority regardless of others."

"Un. I miss Lord Hei who is always awake and playful. As long as Lord Hei is cheerful, the Lord G.o.d will be in a good mood." said Zhi Yue with a smile.

Zhi Yang, "Okay. Can you wait for me here or do you want to go inside Lord Hei's soul domain to check on him with me?"

"A'Yang, you could enter Lord Hei's soul Domain?" said Zhi Yue.

Zhi Yang said, "I could. You can do so as well. Aren't you used to staying in Lord Hei's soul domain before I return?"

"Oh~ That's right. Lord Hei's Soul Domain is pretty. It's a land full of clouds, snow, ice, and moon!" said Zhi Yue.

Zhi Yang said, "Those things are from before. It might have disappeared with how Master's current state is now ongoing. Let's go."

"Okay~"

The two systems returned to their avatar forms and entered Hei Anjing's Soul domain. No barrier stops the two systems from entering. First System Yang is someone who had signed a soul contract with Hei Anjing. It is duties to keep his soul stable and protect his Master from all kinds of danger.

Meanwhile, System Yue used to be Hei Anjing's guide system. It might be temporary but his stay in his soul domain had been long recognized by Hei Anjing's domain. As long as he didn't cause any disruption in the domain, he wouldn't be forcefully kicked out.

When the two systems entered Hei Anjing's soul domain. The casual description of Zhi Yue about Hei Anjing's soul domain had been flipped down below. Before him is nothing of that fantasy-like description he had mentioned. What he is seeing right now is a fragmented world of mirrors. A black world with only one full moon as a source of light and a never-ending winter. Snowfall from above and disappears as long it touches the clouds on the ground. Not even a water vapor was left behind.

Zhi Yue was surprised by what was happening in this place. This scene before him looks surreal yet in ruins.

"What happened here?" asked Zhi Yue in surprise.

Zhi Yang didn't answer his question but instead pulled him somewhere. He dragged Zhi Yue with him as they avoided the fragmented mirror shards all over the place, but as they pa.s.sed by each shard a part of the scene was being played on it. Zhi Yue could somehow recall a few scenes among the fragments. Only then does he realize that these broken mirrors are memory shards of Lord Hei.

Zhi Yue said, "These are Lord Hei's memories. Why is it scattered all over his soul domain?"

"These are just clones. Duplicate memories the Master had made. As for its use, I don't even know what it is for." said Zhi Yang.

They continued to walk forward and saw Hei Anjing's soul looking a bit transparent in a daze as he made more memory crystals within his soul domain.

Zhi Yang asked, "Master?"

"You two aren't supposed to be here. Go back, Yang." said Hei Anjing.

Zhi Yue asked, "Lord Hei, what are you doing?"

"Preparations," said Hei Anjing.

Zhi Yang asked, "Preparations for what, Master?"

A meaningful smile appeared on the corner of Hei Anjing's lips and said, "You will understand in the future. Go back." with a single wave of his hands, Zho Yang and Zhi Yang were thrown out of his Soul Domain. Once the two returned to the reality they looked at the sleeping figure of Hei Anjing on the bed.

Zhi Yue murmured in confusion, "Just what is Lord Hei planning about?"

While Zhi Yang's eyes narrowed as if he thought of something yet not sure enough to share his ideas. He stayed silent instead. On the other hand, Ye Xijaie who suddenly left a few moments ago is now lurking within the shadows staring at the entrance of the secret opening towards the underground territory of the Spirit Race.

A few golems are guarding the entrance but they were turned to dust before they were able to make a move. Ye Xiajie's heavy aura was enough to destroy them. Nonchalantly, Ye Xiajie walked through the tunnels that lead to the core of the labyrinth. This is also the most secretive area that the whole Spirit Race tries to protect.

Numerous black flames were floating around Ye Xiajie as he went inside the underground facilities. All spirit races regardless they were fairies, sprites, fairy kings, or golems had instantly turned to ashes as this walking demon lord pa.s.sed by. There were some who were lucky enough to be able to shriek for the last time and some unlucky beings that didn't even know what killed them.

"Ah~ run! Report to the higher-ups!"

"We're under attack. The source core is being attacked by a human player!!!"

"A demon. He's a demon king! Run for your lives!"

Ye Xiajie stood before the black tree. There are no expressions on his face and only apathy and aloofness were painted on that handsome face. His eyes were sharp and icy as well.

"Found it. A corrupted G.o.d full of life energy," murmured Ye Xiajie.

An announcement appeared before Ye Xiajie. This is something that is programmed to be done regardless of the receiver of the message's consent.

Spirit Race's greatest secret. After the Spirit race had fallen from their original standing as a royal grade bloodline possessor, they were all imprisoned to suffer in h.e.l.l. Given only a small piece of land with no source of power or energy, this race is destined to fall to extinction.

To avoid such an ending the most powerful Spirit from the race a Spirit G.o.d sacrificed himself to become the source of his Race's power. Such a sacrificial move overwhelmed his whole race and they were so grateful to that Spirit G.o.d's benevolence.

Since then they would make a regular sacrifice to be bestowed to the Spiritual Tree of Life. That was until human players appeared in the labyrinth.

These players were stubborn, arrogant and so full of themselves. They looked down on the Spirit race as there would be some players who awakened a bloodline even more prominent than the Spirit Race bloodline itself.

A war to place inside the labyrinth. In the midst of the war, some players had found out about the existence of the Tree of life which G.o.d of Spirits had morphed too. These human players were all greedy by nature. A Tree of life is a special tree that grants life energy to those who stayed at its roots. Giving away some faith towards the tree is enough to keep it alive.

But many Spirits died protecting the tree when the human players' attacked. During the war, the sleeping Spirit G.o.d within the Tree of Life had been filled with hatred and killing intent as he watched his own kind getting slaughtered under the blades or hands of these human players. In his rage, this pure tree of life had become corrupted after it had eaten human players for the first time.

To save more of its kind, it ate and ate more humans during the war until it completely became a Fallen G.o.d whose mind was only filled with hunger and malevolence. But no matter how much the Corrupted G.o.d had fallen, it would rarely eat its own kind. It's like eating humans more than anything. It loves its blood and flesh, and all of these become his nourishment.

After knowing this the Spirit Race decided to gather humans as its food. It was only until today that the Spirit Race has overpowered most human players making them become a living sacrifices to their fallen G.o.d. Because of this, they have gotten full reign over h.e.l.l's Labyrinth.

But who would have thought that a group led by hidden G.o.ds and the world's heaven's beloved children would suddenly arrive in the labyrinth? Because of their existence, the balance within h.e.l.l's Labyrinth had once again gone awry.

And an Evil G.o.d a lot more powerful than a Fallen G.o.d would appear and covet the life energy that the corrupted G.o.d gathered for his race's use.

Standing before the roots of the black tree, the Corrupted G.o.d, Ye Xiajie observes how much life energy it had gathered.}

Ye Xiajie upon seeing the mindless Corrupted G.o.d who now only goes by its instinct. This black tree instinctively captures human players sucking out their life force and converting it into natural qi essence which spreads around the hidden village of the Spirit Race. The Spirit Race used this energy to cultivate and get stronger.

But now this Evil G.o.d who rules this whole Abyssal World would suddenly appear before a Fallen and covets the life energy it had gathered with all the sacrifices of the human players enslaved by this corrupted G.o.d.

Ye Xiajie stood before the black tree and observed it. At its roots were countless human skeletons and living sacrifices who were in the process of sucking out its life force.

"H-Help... Please help us~"

"I-It's painful... So painful..."

"No more! N-No more... P-please kill me~"

"Save me~"

Some human sacrifices were alive yet Ye Xiajie turned a blind eye and was deaf to their pleas.

"Abundant Life Energy yet... It doesn't seem enough at all," said Ye Xiajie.

His eyes were only on the black tree and he even ignored the half-dead humans reaching out to him asking for help. He flew towards the tree and as expected it did not dare to attack him at all. The aura he is emitting is that of a G.o.d why would a Filled G.o.d dare to attack him. Instead, it revered him and followed his order.

Ye Xiajie commanded, "The life energy you've gathered is not enough. Except for those in dungeons. Kill everyone in this village."

Swish~ Swis.h.!.+ Swish~

Such a very cruel order. The Corrupted G.o.d was hesitant at first but when he noticed the darkness that the True G.o.d emitted beside him, the Corrupted G.o.d knew he couldn't defy the orders and so it spread its roots all over the village from the surface.

N-No!? Runaway!

It's the ancestor G.o.d! Why is he attacking us as well?

The Ancestor had gone insane. Escape we need to run away!!

In the end under the orders of the Evil G.o.d, all living beings in the village were sucked dry by the corrupted tree of life. It had resurfaced from above ground ignoring all the surprises of the people of the spirit race as they suddenly saw their ancestor G.o.d suddenly appearing in the village itself. What shocked them. Were those roots who usually only attack humans had finally attacked them as well. Leaving them dumbfounded and caught off guard. They died with incredulity within their eyes.

But regardless of whether they were humans or people of the Spirit Race, everything was eaten. The only ones spared are those inside the dungeons which Ye Xiajie intentionally ordered to be spared.

Ye Xiajie watches the chaos and scenes of death with an apathetic gaze. To him in order to stabilize his wife's condition. He is even willing to sacrifice the world for his other half. This was the scene System Yang and System Yue had witnessed when they came out of dimensional s.p.a.ce.

System Yang asked while looking at the countless dried corpses scattering around the village. The dried corpses were made up of both the spirit race and the human race, "My lord, is it worth it for you to destroy a whole race just to wake up Lord Hei?"

"It is worth it," answered Ye Xiajie. His cold eyes overlook the chaotic scene before him as if the death of everyone in the village isn't something he had caused.

"Nothing is more important than Jing'er. Even if this is Vearth I will do the same thing as well," said Ye Xiajie.

Unknown to him at this moment his used to be obsidian gem-like eyes full of galaxies had longed turned crimson. The shade of deep red as if his irises were made of blood itself. It is alluring and beautiful but at the same time ruthless and impa.s.sive.
