He then walks away while carrying Hei Anjing. The latter looks at them over his husband's shoulders and waves his hand to the rest of the team.

Zane and the rest were left dumbfounded by what Ye Xiajie had just said. Though they had reported that Han Ya and An Yuan were attacked by the Spirit Race, none of them mentioned that two of them were captured and tortured. But Ye Xiajie doesn't even have to know to comment about the state of Han Ya and Zane.

Even though they had killed a lot as soon as they arrived in the village after that conversation with the leader of the place, Elder Leafe, no other spirit race people went after them.

There were no nightly visits of a.s.sa.s.sination was made. This left the newly signed teammate, Zane, to be dumbfounded. He didn't expect the Spirit race to indeed stop annoying their team after those disagreements from yesterday which caused countless deaths for the other race.

The village area might be limited but it was modernized yet left a feeling of fantasy and a mystical vibe. As most residential houses were built on trees as treehouses, only the stores and business buildings were built above the earth. There are even some fairies that live in huge flowers.

Lan She and Chu Mo were punctual in their duties of serving their Lords. They woke up earlier than anyone and bought breakfast for the team after their morning jogging. But by the time they returned to the room, the others were already awake. Breakfast was served at the dining table for everyone and the ones they've brought home with them were added to the mix.

A large pot of kabocha squash congee. A yellowish congee filled with rice gruel mixed with boiled and shredded pumpkin. It was a bit sweet due to the ripen squashed mixed into it. For the side dishes, there's a cheese omelet, minced pork, and cuc.u.mber as well as pickled turnip and kimchi.

Everyone enjoyed the breakfast but they had to watch Hei Anjing move all of his vegetable side dishes to his husband. He is the type who can only eat fresh and uncooked vegetables, he could eat them in the form of salads but if it was boiled or cooked he wouldn't even eat them even if someone forces him to. So while everyone was served pumpkin congee only his is a white congee with a few eggs and bacon on it.

Seeing such usual antics of his wife, Ye Xiajie didn't know how to feed his wife vegetables. He could only order their systems to prepare a mixed vegetable and fruit salad for Hei Anjing. Though h3 had accepted all of the side dishes his wife didn't want to eat. He is used to eating the food his baby didn't like to eat.

Zane whispered to An Yuan who was sitting beside him. An Yuan was seated between him and Han Ya. The other two couples sat on the opposite side.

tAn Yuan whispered back, "This is still normal. But you will get used to it."

"You haven't seen them kissing in front of the crowd," murmured Han Ya.

Zane startled, "Are they for real?"

He wasn't expecting an answer from his friends but someone else had answered it for him. It was one of the people in the topic of their conversation, Lord Hei.

"It's for real~~," said Hei Anjing with a playful tone, and in front of Zane, this talkative new member, he pulled his husband's collar and gave him a morning kiss.

Chuu~

It was supposed to be an ordinary morning kiss but who would expect Ye Xiajie to lower his head and grab the back of his wife's head instantly deepening their kiss.

This left Zane flabbergasted, "f.u.c.k! That was hot!"

After breakfast, everyone had made the preparations and checked out of the inn. Then they went to investigate the dungeons in the village. There are ten dungeons inside the village. It was cla.s.sified into three: Not Very Scary, Scary, Very Scary. There are four not very scary dungeons, three scary, and another three Very Scary dungeons.

Of course, the rewards for each dungeon differ as well.

Not Very Scary Dungeons are the lowest grade and have an ordinary level of monsters and most of them have no intelligence except for the Boss NPC but the mystery and puzzles in this place are a bit hard to break. The NPC in this dungeon is just a background design.

Very Scary Dungeon is the highest grade dungeon among the rest. The NPCs and Monsters have intelligence. There are dead zones inside. There are no mysteries or puzzles inside, you just need to do your best to survive.

As everyone followed the books which were flying in front of them. They were stunned to see that book hovers at each entrance of the Very Scary Dungeons. Seeing this everyone had a varying expression.

Hei Anjing showed happiness as if he got the jackpot. Ye Xiajie is smiling to see how cute his wife's reactions are. Lan She was calmly accepting this result. Zane and Chu Mo were staring at the dungeons before them with an 'O'-shaped mouth that could fit an egg in it. While Han Ya and An Yuan were speechless by how things still ended this way.

Han Ya said, "Of all of the books in that abandoned library, you had to pick the hardest game mode's clues. I don't know if you are lucky to get the one with the highest reward or unlucky for getting the dungeons with the highest risk of death."

"Ah~ I've always been unlucky with things that are a bit like drawing lots." said An Yuan.

"Come on. It's not that bad~ it should be fun instead~" said Hei Anjing.

The rest of the team's thoughts except Ye Xiajie, 'It's only fun for you two!!!'

Han Ya spoke, "A'Yuan you go and pick. Among us, you had read all three books the most."

"Right. Just use those eyes of yours and check which among the three is the easiest. There should be one among those right?" said Zane.

As he was told, An Yuan used his eyes to check on the status board of the clues. As expected now that they are near the dungeon the information he could see on it had changed as well.
