Chapter 555: 11.81 First Green Star - Punishment World: 'Labyrinth' (11)

The group of Spirit Kings under the orders of the n.o.ble Spirit had flown within the market to capture Han Ya, Zane, and An Yuan. 

What happened afterward was told by An Yuan when he met with Lan She and Chu Mo.

The Spirit Kings who were chasing after An Yuan were stunned when they saw Lan She suddenly turn into a Valkyrie and Chu Mo become a High-cla.s.s Fallen Race in front of their eyes. They couldn't believe they would meet strong players chasing a weak one like An Yuan. The four of them did not capture An Yuan right away as they were playing a cat and mouse game with him.

They would throw some weak spells at An Yuan from time to time and watch his struggles to escape. They were so cruel as they used him as a target for games. At first, they thought since this player is weak even if he had teammates they would be weak as well but why would an awakener with the divine bloodline of War Angels and Fallen Angels appear now worst of y seems to be that weak human's teammates.

After hearing An Yuan's story, Lan She and Chu Mo look at the four Spirit Kings before them with anger in their eyes. Even though they do not care about the life and death of mortals, they are currently playing the role of the protagonist's teammates. They had acted like real ones during this time.

Chu Mo asked, "Where is Han Han? You guys took him right? You better return those two you took to us or we would have to report it to our boss that you took our teammates."

The four Spirit Kings didn't know what to say. They were only following the order of the n.o.ble Spirit and capturing those who might expose the secret of their village. They were thinking of capturing these guys together with that weak human. Though it would be hard to do so, at least they need to try.

But before they could even do a thing, they heard their otherkin whispering near them. They were stopping their attempts to harm these three as they could still remember that cruel yet extremely powerful human that didn't even get punished for killing members of their race as soon as they arrived in the village.

"Stop! Don't do it! There are rankers in this group."

"Better to return their members. That ranker from before is too powerful. More powerful than the leader of our race."

"Don't touch this team! They are too dangerous!"

The hesitation on the Spirit Kings' faces couldn't help but be shown on their faces.

The green-haired fairy said to his comrade and said, "Report to the n.o.ble Spirit Elder about the situation."

One of the Spirit Kings was about to leave when suddenly a pillar of light fell from above and a chain made of light elements restrained all the Spirit Kings who harmed An Yuan.

Everyone was shocked by the scene. What's more surprising is that none of the four spirit kings were able to destroy the chains restricting them.

Lan She with a cold expression on his face said, "Do not waste our time. Tell us where Han Ya is and we will give you a painless death."

Silence and tension descended in the area. All of the people from the Spirit Race showed anger when Lan She treated their kin in such a way. Most players were stunned and chose not to get involved in such a huge and dangerous fight.

"Humans! You think you are so great!"

"To think you dare to threaten our fellow fairies in such a way. You are looking for death!!!"

The Spirit Race surrounded the team of Lan She, Chu Mo, and An Yuan. There are at least 100 spirit races surrounding them in their fairy form. Each one of them wields an element about to bombard the humans at the center with elemental spells.

Despite the pressure in their surroundings Lan She and Chu Mo remained calm. Lan, She placed An Yuan inside a barrier as he stood beside his lover.

Chu Mo was looking at the fairies surrounding them like idiots. They haven't met such a race that dares to raise their hands against those who were true G.o.ds from the highest realm.

He glanced at his lover beside him and flashed a smile, "Should we kill all of them, She'er?" asked Chu Mo.

Lan She nodded his head and said, "Wait for me to put a sound isolation talisman. The inn where Lord Hei is sleeping is quite near this place. I'm afraid he would wake up."

"Better do so. If we accidentally woke up Lord Hei, the Lord G.o.d would punish us," said Chu Mo as he took out the silver spear he got from his lover. He was flexing his hands and arms as if he was warming up.

On the other hand, Lan She is controlling his qi and brought out a few talismans which had defensive and sound isolation effects and created a temporary formation that would last for at least half an hour. The Spirit Race was dumbfounded. These humans were treating them as if their race was beneath them. They were utterly angered by this scene.

What they didn't know was that the Spirit Kings who were captured with the golden chain had pale faces at this moment. They tried pouring all of their mana trying to break the chains on them but no matter how much they tried it was useless. They realized the huge difference in strength between them and the two mortals in front of them.

Recalling the words of their kins about rankers being in this team made them want to puke blood. They've indeed hit a metal plate this time. If they don't stop their kin from attacking there would be a tragic end for their race.

Fairies were already fuming in anger witnessing this scene.

The fairies were proud, seeing that Chu Mo's attack was made with wind elements they did not even think of dodging it. Instead, they've tried to control the elemental qi in the attack wanting to take over the control of the tornado.

Unfortunately, the wind essences in that attack did not listen to them. It was already too late when they realized that control of the situation is beyond them. What they didn't know is that their opponent is a G.o.d who is loved by wind essences. Though the wind essence isn't obsessed with the Warden like how the ice essences do with the Mo Family, Warden Lou's control over the wind is topnotch in Vearth.

It was because of his existence that none of the prisoners on the Nether System dared to run away. Outside the System is a wind storm which is under his control except for a few exceptions almost everything was destroyed but those who tried to move past the Wind Storm.

That wind storm is one of the deadly defense layers of the Nether System. It prevents intruders from forcefully entering and prevents escapees from leaving the Netherworld.

Lan She frowned when he saw such a result. He wasn't afraid of the Warden and was instead a bit unhappy by how unclean his lover had ended their enemies. Thankfully, he protected those Spirit Kings at the last moment or they would become like the rest of the fairies. Turned into a meat paste that no one could recognize afterward.

After serving a clean freak like Lord Hei, Lan She had rarely seen such a gruesome and b.l.o.o.d.y scene as this one. He felt a bit disgusted by the scene.

"Okay~," said Chu Mo as he used a secondary element he could control.

He used fire elements to burn the remains to nothingness. It wasn't a special flame like his lover's holy flames with purification effects or a unique and special flame-like his Lord's h.e.l.l Fire. His flame is still something found in the Nether world. It had a bluish-white flame that souls like the most.

Once the clean-up was done. The area had become desolate. Most sellers in the area were killed and the players from before had all run away when they saw the spirit race surrounding their team. Now in the area near the exit, the only ones alive are the terrified Spirit Kings chained by Lan She and the group of three.

An Yuan wasn't afraid of the scene he had witnessed. He was so worried about Han Ya that he didn't even waste attention on his surroundings. Lan She had already healed his wounds and he could finally move his body as he stopped crying.

An Yuan said with swollen eyes, "Brother Lan, Brother Chu, how can we find Xiao Ya and Zane?"

"Don't cry, kid. Didn't She'er capture these guys? You can start interrogating them." said Chu Mo as he pointed at the chained Spirit Kings who looked like they had lost their souls.

The scene of the ma.s.sacre they had witnessed isn't that weaker than the ones Ye Xiajie did upon their arrival. An Yuan didn't waste any time and Interrogated the guys that captured Han Ya and Zane. He grabs their collar with anger in his eyes.

An Yuan asked, "Where did you bring Han Ya? Answer me this instant!?" His eyes were glowing as he used his capabilities as an Ancient Human. He could check whether the words these men had said were real or not.

The Spirit Kings were once again stunned seeing his eyes. These shades of violet irises flas.h.i.+ng with ancient runes, the Spirit King that was being stared at felt bare naked under those eyes. He started trembling, barely able to utter a complete sentence.

"P-Purple eyes... Ancient r-ruins! Are you... An A-A-Ancient...!!"

Ignoring the reaction of the Spirit King he is grabbing, An Yuan continues to ask, "Answer me! Where is Han Ya!?"

"He... He must be... In the village leader's house..."

Lan She asked, "And where is that?"

"North forest. The biggest treehouse."

Lan She looked at An Yuan and asked, "Is he speaking the truth, An?"

"Yes," replied An Yuan.

Chu Mo smirked and said, "Good. Let's go then!"

"What should we do about them?" asked An Yuan.

Lan She said, "We killed a lot this time. They can live and share a tale."

"Hahaha~ Honey you're such a cutie~," said Chu Mo as he hugged his lover and kissed his cheeks.

Pus.h.i.+ng his lover's face Lan She said, "Let's go. So we can return to the inn as soon as possible."

Carrying An Yuan with them, the three flew towards the north forest and looked for the village leader's house. It is clear what these three are about to do. Once the three of them had left the chains on the Spirit King had disappeared. They feel almost boneless on the ground.

"F-Fast... Bring me the communication stone! We need to tell the n.o.ble Spirit Elder what happened!"

Communication stone is a way to contact other fairies in this village. These Spirit Kings were the ones who serve the current n.o.ble Spirit Elder who is also this Village's most authorized person on the surface. While the rest of the elders were tasked to protect the world tree under the village.

As soon as the Village Leader heard the reports of what happened in the village his face turned ugly and dark. He crushed the stone in his hand making his other kins working for him tremble.

This Village leader is called Elder Leafe.

Elder Leafe with a face full of rage muttered between his pants.

"Those d.a.m.n human rankers!! If only our race weren't restricted in this place those rankers I would... Be able to kill them myself!!!"

The elder was about to explode in anger until his subordinates helped him calm down.

"Elder, hold back your anger. We cannot let those humans learn about the world tree. That is our life..."

"We should return those two human players. I heard there is an even more powerful ranker in that team. One that is cruel and apathetic of the life of others."

"We cannot defeat them at our current state. Please make a smart decision, Elder!"

Calming his own distorted breathing due to anger, Elder Leafe sat on the couch near him and drank some tea which calmed his nerves.

After a while, his eyes glint with hidden murderous intent and ordered,

"Get those two humans in the dungeon. Heal them and make them look proper. After that erased their memories about the dungeon and the torture they had undergone." said Elder Leafe.
