Lan She chooses 'Yes' without any hesitation. In his mind, he was thinking that this might be enough to entertain Lord Hei and ease his boredom. It would be better if there are more things that would make Lord Hei happy at least, he wouldn't miss his son so much or continue to feel depressed that he could only sleep most of the time even in this world.

He was observing the fairies nonchalantly in front of him and watching the fat little fairy princess get dragged away from him but some other fairies from her side. Afterward, the happy festival continues as if nothing had just happened.

Chu Mo finally returned holding two cups of fruit juice and some stuffed cakes with him. When he saw his honey waiting for him on the usual spot he grinned like a silly dog and ran back to his owner. Of course! He had received the notifications about the hidden mission but did not really care about it at all. Both he and Lan She were only here to support and serve their two Lords.

"Honey~ here I bought you some snacks," said Chu Mo as he pa.s.sed the paper bag full of stuffed cakes to his lover.

Lan She looked at the round-looking bread placed in his hands and asked, "What's inside?"

"Chocolate, custard, strawberries, blueberries, matcha mint, and white cheese. I bought all the flavors for you!" said Chu Mo.

Lan She bit the stuffed cake in his hands and tasted blueberry jam with blueberry bits inside. It was slightly sour yet sweet and creamy. There's a bit of milky pudding inside.

"Hm, It's good," commented Lan She.

Chu Mo's grin widened and said, "Eat more. I've also bought some takoyaki and fried pancakes."

"Eat as well. Then we should buy more of these stuffed cakes as it is something Lord Hei would enjoy," said Lan She.

Chu Mo said, "No worries. I've bought everything the store has and it's already closed right now."

"Well, that's also fine. We can have some more for desserts after meals," said Lan She.

While the couple was enjoying their food under the huge tree near the entrance of the village, another group of players arrived. Based on their state, things didn't turn out nice for them. Most of them were covered in bandages which were soaked in blood. Their appearance was disheveled and others were shaking badly as if they were traumatized by something.

But their arrival caused the spirit race people to welcome them warmly. Those who were injured were healed by them as a warm light fell on their injuries. They were eagerly welcoming them but it was intentional or subconsciously, these fairies would give a distance between them and the couple, Chu Mo and Lan She under a huge tree.

The accident of their race being burned to ashes by a grumpy Evil Lord like Ye Xiajie couldn't be instantly forgotten in the minds of these spirit race people. While the other players were mingling with the fairies, the lone figure of Mr. Blood morphed from the blood mist he used to travel. Those from the Vlad Bloodline are able to travel as cl.u.s.ters of bats or a blood mist, this is their race's capabilities.

Mr. Blood had spotted Chu Mo flirting with Lan She under the tree. He was staring at the man silently until the latter noticed his gaze. When their eyes met they instantly recognized each other. Chu Mo had only remembered this opportunist player from the first layer like him. It was the same player who had left the first layer using the hole he made to pa.s.s through the next layer.

Chu Mo said, "Oh~ you're still alive! Not bad... But why are you staring at us?"

Mr. Blood walks in strides towards the couple and without a word pa.s.ses the piles of rewards left behind when Echo was killed. Chu Mo and Lan She looked at him weirdly as they couldn't understand why this player was giving them a gift.

Chu Mo asked, "Why are you giving us these things? We don't lack them."

"Reward. Death of the Wind Spirit King, Echo," said Mr. Blood, who suddenly became a man of few words unlike before.

Lan She and Chu Mo understood his words as they knew that the Lord G.o.d had sent orders to the darkness to eliminate that rude fairy who dared to touch their Lord Hei. But based on the Lord G.o.d's cruel nature, it is normal for that fairy to end up like that. Didn't those rude fairies they dared to touch the Lords had longed turn to ashes already.

Chu Mo took the props and left the money to Mr. Blood as thanks for the delivery.

"Keep the gold coins as a reward for bringing these things over. It might not be useful for the boss but it is useful to me. I'm sure the boss would give this to me anyway." said Chu Mo.

Lan She looked at the Wind Elemental Spell Book and wind element stones. He just glances at them totally not interested and continues enjoying his stuffed cake instead. After finis.h.i.+ng the blueberry-flavored one he went for the mint matcha next. He likes tea-flavored desserts the most.

Chu Mo was about to send away Mr. Blood when he noticed the man's eyes turning crimson red. There's an obvious excitement within those pairs of eyes but the latter averted his gaze when he saw him looking at him. He looks like he is intoxicated by something as he looks around dazed.

Lan She also noticed his reaction and noticed that this player is familiar. According to the original plot, this man is called Zane, he is a real vampire from An Yuan's world. He is a friend of the original Han Ya and a Red Zone Veteran Player like him. Before meeting An Yuan, in reality, Han Ya used to enter games as a pair with this man. It was said that this man is looking for his lover within the Abyssal World who was said to have died with him and ended up getting separated when they arrived in this world.

He is a supporting character of the protagonist gong. Zane Hillari had the oldest bloodline of vampires like in the myth. One of the hidden existences in reality.

Lan She watches as Zane uncomfortably looks around as his eyes glow in crimson. Vampires would only feel excitement at the scent of human blood. Seeing Lan She looking at him he closely covered his head and face with his large cloak.

Zane said, "Excuse me. I had done my part. I shall take my leave now."

But before he could walk away his cloak was grabbed by Lan She his hood over his head had fallen by the tug revealing his pale face under the moonlight. His skin glitters under the light, sharp yet elegant features like those vampires in the stories. He is also quite a handsome man. But the fangs peeking through his lips and those inhuman crimson eyes as if soaked in blood left an indescribable beauty in it.

Lan She said, "Sorry."

"It's okay. I'll take my leave now."

Zane immediately covered his eyes when he saw everyone staring at him. After saying what he wanted he disappeared into the crowds and no one knew where he had disappeared to. Lan She was thinking of something when Chu Mo suddenly bit his neck.

Chomp!

Hiss!

"Are you a dog?!" asked Lan She but when he turned his head to scold his lover he saw him looking so pitiful.

A huge pair of arms wrapped around his waist, "Honey~ I'm more handsome than that bat~ look at me more." said Chu Mo acting like a coquettish wife.

Lan She pinched his lover and said, "What are you thinking? Do you not recognize that man?"

"I don't care. Who cares who he is!? Honey, you can only look at me!" said Chu Mo.

"Sigh~ this stupid... Tsk! Don't you notice there is something wrong with him? According to the plot he is supposed to be a supporting character, one that stood by the side of the protagonists. Did you not read the plot events of this world?" asked Lan She.

Chu Mo answered, "No, I was not interested."

Tsk!

"According to the plot, that Vampire is supposed to join the protagonists' team in this stage. The plot event is... the sacrificial scene under the demonic world tree," said Lan She. "If the plot events continue... There would be a huge ma.s.sacre between the spirit race and humans. Han Ya and Zane would be kidnapped by the Spirit Race as would be sacrificed to the corrupt world tree."

"That's... quite a huge news," said Chu Mo, obviously not interested at all in such events that had nothing to do with their group.

Seeing the relaxed and devil may care reaction of Chu Mo made Lan She want to punch his face. In the end, he didn't punch him as it was a waste of his handsome face.

As expected of the plot, An Yuan came back running alone. He had a huge gash on his arm which is still bleeding. Behind him, a few Spirit Kings were chasing after him.

An Yuan fell on Chu Mo and said, "Help! Help me! Xiao Ya was kidnapped by the fairies."

"An? What happened to your arm?" asked Lan She, acting like he didn't know what was happening. But he didn't forget to activate the Valkyrie bloodline and healed An Yuan.

But they were disrupted by a group of incoming Spirit Kings of varying elements. They were looking at An Yuan with angry eyes but their arrogance was imprinted on their faces and pointed at their group.

"Give us that human! He violated the rules of the village and harmed the people of the Spirit Race." said one of the Spirit Kings based on the color of his hair which is red, he must be a Fire Spirit King.

Flying beside him is a Wind Spirit King with green hair, a lightning Spirit King with violet hair, and a Water Spirit king with Blue hair. These four were obviously targeting An Yuan.

An Yuan yelled, "Lies! I didn't harm any fairy. It was you who suddenly tried to grab Xiao Ya's friend and even take Xiao Ya with you!! We only fought back because you want to take Zane away!"

"Wait! Hanhan was taken as well?" asked Chu Mo.

A nod from An Yuan who started crying said his answer.

"I don't know what they want. Han Ya and I were buying some food at the stalk after getting out of the library and were about to go back when Zane saw Han Ya and approached us. He was just talking when Zane suddenly asked if we could smell the scent of human blood.

We don't smell anything but Zane said that the scent of human blood is too thick in this village. When he was about to tell us where the scent was coming from, these guys suddenly appeared and tried to grab Zane.

Xiao Ya and I fought back to save Zane but Xiao Ya told me to call you guys. He used the crow Sir Abyss gave us and told me to split to escape. That crow exploded and killed lots of fairies then we took that chance to escape. There are more pursuers that followed Xiao Ya and Zane. Wuwuwu~ they are the first ones to attack us!" storied An Yuan.

Hearing what An Yuan had said made the human players in the area frown. These Spirit Kings were obviously targeting An Yuan who is a human player like them. Lan She and Chu Mo had already activated their bloodlines to fight back.

When the Spirit King chasing An Yuan noticed that his teammates awakened a Divine- grade bloodline. They knew that they might have hit a steel plate this time. Who would have expected that an unawakened player like An Yuan would have these kinds of teammates?

They thought he hadn't awakened yet as Ancient Human Bloodlines had no difference in appearance from other humans. It was their capabilities which are different from ordinary humans.
