One could even see the lurking darkness within the depths of these obsidian and ruby-like irises. During the conversation between Han Ya and Ye Xiajie, the rest had their mouths shut as they could feel the aura spreading from Ye Xiajie. It was heavy and extremely comfortable as if death itself was looking at them.

Only Chu Mo thought that the Lord G.o.d might end up killing the Protagonist Gong but when he heard the words he last said, he understood that these protagonists would remain unharmed as long as Lord Hei likes them but the moment they lost his interest, the ending of there two would never be as peaceful as death.

An Yuan felt cold when he heard the words Ye Xiajie had spoken just now. Though he felt that Ye Xiajie was looking down on him and Han Ya. But thinking about the man's standing and strength, he truly doesn't need anything he and Han Ya can provide. His strength is already overwhelming enough that the game rules no longer matter to him. Even the endings of the games would depend on his mood.

If he is in a good mood the game would end smoothly but if he is not then the game would end with everything destroyed. It was as if he is G.o.d that controls everything under his palms. Domineering and peerless. His kindness, tenderness, and pa.s.sionate love are only for one person. That person happened to be Hei Anjing who is interested in the future he and Han Ya hold.

But at the same time, An Yuan could help but admire the couple. Their strength is both uncontended and they both love each other very much. Hearing his reply his gaze once again moves away from them and turns gentle at the sight of his beloved in his embrace. He even slightly moves away from the stray hair covering Hei Anjing's face. His eyes were peaceful and loving.

Once the barrier surrounding their team faded every other player in the area started at them. Some jealous ones sneered and cursed at them for being selfish and hiding some clues about the labyrinth. The smart one only took a glance and decided to look for other players on the scene with appraisal skills gathering clues for themselves. After a few more minutes of waiting someone finally comes out of the huge gate which opened a little allowing one person to pa.s.s.

The humanoid figure that comes out of the labyrinth is one of the Spirit race. A Wind Sprite that could use human form. Most Spirit races only have a Thumbelina size but those spirits who had reached King cla.s.s and above could morph their size into a human. The wind spirit in front of them is one of those spirits who had reached King Cla.s.s.

This WInd King Spirit had long ears like the elves but he had fairy wings attached to his back. He had an emerald long hair braided behind him covered with all kinds of flowers to show his affinity with land and spiritual energy.

"Welcome to the Labyrinth Village! Players! Congratulations on pa.s.sing the first pa.s.s of Penalty World. I am your guide on the way to our hidden village. You can call me Echo. Beyond this game is a forest maze that players would need to pa.s.s through as the initial trial to enter the village. There are lots of traps, monsters, and beasts inside the forest so be careful. Echo would be guiding the way as for howling you could follow would depend on your abilities. You can fly above the forest but there are huge flying monsters that move in herds so be careful.

If you have any questions you can ask now..." said Echo.

Led by Ye Xiajie, the team had appeared before Echo. The overwhelming strength that Ye Xiajie's aura emits makes even a Spirit King like Echo tremble. He unconsciously crouches down his body making himself smaller than Ye Xiajie.

Ye Xiajie just glanced down at him once and said, "Open the gates now." His tone was commanding and it frightened Spirit King Echo that the latter accidentally bit his tongue as he replied.

"Yes.h.!.+ Owie~ Sir!" said Echo as he used his mana to activate the runes carved on the gates and walls. The huge wall slowly opens before everyone while the land under their feet starts to shake.

Rumbles~ rumbles~

Echo said, "Here Sir the door is... opened?" When he turned around he saw the player in front of him awakened their bloodlines. One of them turned into a War Angel, a rare Valkyrie that rules the battles in the heavens. Beside the Valkyrie is a high-cla.s.s Fallen race and this man seems to be quite intimate with the angel as he could see them holding each other's hands.

Echo muttered, "A Valkyrie and a Fallen as partners???"

A step behind them is a pureblood demonic being, even though he had seen this one as a human before his bloodline is too pure and obviously not a human being like the rest. There is a weak human in his arm looking at him with glowing eyes. These eyes were too creepy as if they could see through him and even his hidden secrets are bare before this weak human's eyes.

"Is this a pureblood demon? Why is he....?!!! s.h.i.+vers* Hic! s.h.i.+t! What are those eyes? Is he an ancient human? There are still Ancient humans alive in this era!?" Echo was observing Han Ya's transformation when suddenly he felt a discomfiting gaze land on him and noticed An Yuan staring at himself.

Meanwhile, a strong wind breaks through his blessing as the Wind spirit hits his face and he almost flies away with aftershocks. He was stunned to see that the scary human had morphed before his eyes. The handsome man with a horrifying aura morphed into a semi-dragon transformation. It is a rare Mythical Bloodline that only Dragon G.o.d could possess. Only the calamity of the Dragon Race would have such unique black scales. Evidently, this human's main bloodline isn't the Mythical race as even his secondary bloodline had traces of divinity coming from the soul itself. Echo, this Wind Spirit King was left in awe.

But when he saw the sleeping human within Dragonoid's embrace, echo's eyes couldn't be moved away at all. His beauty even made the high elves look dirty, even the aura coming from him gives away the feeling of nature that is purer than his. Of course, he could feel the coldness in the aura this human is emitting. Is he even human? He doesn't feel like a human at all.

Staring at Hei Anjing so boldly, Echo murmured, "Eh? That's a player? No way! He doesn't feel like a human at all."

Echo wanted to reach out and touch Hei Anjing when suddenly a leg came flying towards his way. It was Ye Xiajie who made a kick. His attack was merciless and caught the Spirit king off guard. Thankfully he turns back to his fairy form and his size greatly turns smaller but the strong wind affected by the kick made him fly away and hit the nearest wall. A small crater was created with the figure of the small fairy. He looks like a bug that was slapped away by Ye Xiajie.

Whoosh~

BANG!

"Don't touch my wife, bug," said Ye Xiajie as his voice turned menacing and frosty.

Then under the gaze of everyone Ye Xiajie flapped his dragon wing and took a flight to the sky without any hesitation. Chu Mo and Lan She followed without hesitation and flew after Ye Xiajie. Han Ya and An Yuan looked at the fairy that was almost squashed to death. They haven't met someone this foolish who tried to touch Hei Anjing in the presence of that demon lord. An Yuan even clapped his hands together as if praying for the half-dead fairy king on the wall.

"My condolences~" murmured An Yuan.

Han Ya said to him, "Hold on tight, A'Yuan."

"Um! I will hug you tight!" said An Yuan as they also flew to follow the rest who had gone ahead of them.

Some players were smart enough and also could use flight as a path. They followed the group ahead and were thinking of closely following them to arrive at the village even without the guide. Well, that is because their guide was almost dead because of his itchy hands. There were some who could only walk and had to run just to see the first group that had gone inside. Though this is a risky move if they successfully pursued after them they should also reach the village ahead of the others.

Meanwhile, most players remained and tried to heal their guide. They weren't as powerful as Player Abyss and his team so this is the only way they could reach the hidden village. Those who had stashed healing props had to cry over the spilled water as they used it on their guide. Thankfully, some players repaid them with gold coins as compensation.

The half-dead Wind Spirit King named Echo almost went straight to the heavens. But was brought back to life by the player's healing props. Echo was feeling groggy when he opened his eyes and flew disorderly in the air. 

"Urgh~ I feel sick and bloated~ Did you guys feed me healing potions? Yuck! you feed me low-tier potions! Are you trying to kill me? Do you not know how many impurities that thing has!? Urk!!" complained Echo as he looked pale and was vomiting. His vomits turned into rainbows as special effects.

The players wanted to complain about the Wind Spirit's ungrateful comments and saw him looking around as if looking for something.

"Eh? eh? Where are they? Did they leave already?! NO! This can't wait, I have to report what I have found out!!" Echo finally noticed the players surrounding him and said, "Follow me closely I'm going to fly to the village. No! Fly through the forest. You will be left behind if you are so slow. Hurry!!!" 

WHOOSHED!

Echo flew like a small cannonball through the forest. Only a few players could follow him closely and the rest had no other choice but to look for traces and tailed behind slowly while keeping themselves safe. There are some who had b.u.mps on mutated plants and died. Some fell into the traps and weren't able to move on. but everyone noticed the rumbling of the large gates at it closed with a loud bang. They felt like imprisoned rats in cages when those gates closed. Some players tried to attack the huge gate but it remains immovable and none of their attacks are useful. Only then did they realize that the second phase of the Penalty Trial Games had begun.

As if answering their fears, the robotic voice of the world announcement resounded in the whole labyrinth and all players heard it.

{Welcome to the Second Phase of the Trials. The second trial is called the Enclosed World of Labyrinth Village.

Main Mission: Collected the Key Fragments of the h.e.l.l Gate and escaped from the Labyrinth Village.
