Chapter 452: 9.71 Second Blue Star - The Four Mythical Emperors

In the Upper Realm. 

There are lots of G.o.ds and Mythical Beings lurking near the closed gates connected to the Mortal Realm. Not only do these gates forbid anyone from just going down, but only those who ascended from the Mortal Realm could also enter. But as long as you ascended, it would be harder to go down anymore as the four Mythical Families held the authority over the gates. With the permission of the four rulers, it would be impossible to do so.

That's why the boundary gates are yearned by almost every human in the Upper Realm, they haven't been able to descend even once back to their realm as the rules prohibit them to. They would always watch the closed gates waiting for an opportunity to jump out as long it was open. 

So the scene of the Dragon King, Long Yi, and Black Turtle King, Gui Se beating up by a handsome man in a black robe was witnessed by many that day. They watch the guy in a black robe rip off Dragon King Long Yi's two arms like chicken wings and dugged his eyes out like picking some candy. They've also watched as a dark shadow with the shape of an unknown yet with eerie sharp teeth chomped on Black Turtle King Gui Se's hand and leg. They even heard the crunchy sound of the bones being chewed upon.

The scene was h.e.l.lish enough and everyone thought that the two heirs would be killed by the hands of the otherworldly man. What made them s.h.i.+ver is that this man's crimson eyes glinted with excitement and mirth as if the blood had addictive effects on him. Plus with that evil smirk on his thin lips, he looks like a demon king playing with the lives of the two heirs. 

Only when the gates had closed after the Dragon King and the Black Turtle King did everyone feel a bit relieved. Then the stunning yet dangerous man in black robes descended back to the Mortal Realm leaving everyone speechless.

Near the gates, the howl of Long Yi from immense pain had startled everyone. His current state is too gory. From the location where his arms were ripped off, a fountain of blood flows. His eye socket was empty and only two small blood-soaked holes could be seen.

AAAARRGGGHH AAAHHHHHH HICCC HHAAAA

Gui Se had bearly howled the same way as Long Yi. But unlike the other who not only loses his arm but all his eyes, him losing an arm and a leg is luckier. He could only bite his low lips as he used his remaining hand to look for a healing pill in his possession. The pill wouldn't completely regenerate their missing limbs but it would at least lessen the pain.

After eating some he also gave Long Yi and fed him with him. The latter had no hand to receive the pills anymore. 

"Hah~ Eat this pill. It will remove your pain," said Gui Se.

Long Yi took the pill and it indeed lessened his pain but the emptiness in his arms and eyes would never return.

"Why? Why did he do this to me? I don't even know that b.a.s.t.a.r.d!?" said Long Yi.

Gui Se frowned as he remembered what that man had said to Se'er and Long Yi.

"According to Se'er, this is the Evil G.o.d she is talking about. The one who ate Feng Houye and Bai Yu."

"...."

"Plus, I heard what he told you. He said that you... Covets his wife. Who is the one he is talking about? Did you flirt with some woman in the lower realm?" asked Gui Se.

"Nonsense! I fought with two DemiG.o.ds. These two are from the extinct clans of Vermillion and Fairy Races. Then when I'm about to kill them the Ghost King appeared! Didn't you watch me do all those and you've also run away with me when the Ghost King attacked? Aside from them, the only one that made me excited is the appearance of the Golden Soul possessor. Hm? Don't tell me!!? Is he talking about that beautiful young man!?" said Long Yi as he also finally realized who the wife of the two men was talking about.

"The ghost king and that Evil G.o.d are both his husbands?! Is this even possible!?" Gui Se said in stupefaction. "Anyway, let's go home and report for now. You also need to heal."

Only afterward do the people from the Dragon and Black Turtle Clan arrive to bring their heirs home. When they saw the current state of the two, every one of either clan was astonished. The heir of the Dragon race lost both his arms and eyes while the heir of the Black Turtle race lost an arm and a leg. Plus, the heir of the White Tiger and Phoenix Clan are both missing.

Seeing this situation the Dragon Emperor had gathered the other Emperor to have a meeting about this outcome.

At the Dragon Palace.

Within the round table, the four emperors had gathered as expected. The one who leads is none other than the Dragon Emperor who was said to be the strongest among all the other Mythical race emperors. His appearance is similar to that of Long Yi though his edge is more sharp and mature due to age and experience.

Among the other emperors, the most aggressive one is as expected the White Tiger Emperor. He is the father of Bai Yu. 

BANG!

A crack appeared on the jade table as he trembled in anger. He heard from Se'er what happened to Bai Yu. Who would expect that the leisure descent of their child would end one dead and two losing their limbs?

The White Tiger Emperor said, "What the h.e.l.l is happening in the Human realm!? Who the h.e.l.l are those men!? I understand the existence of the Ghost King but what is a Yaoguai G.o.d!?"

"A Yaoguai is an evil spirit that is created in all negative thoughts. They feed on the life force of the living. If this Yaoguai indeed ate Feng Houye and Bai Yu, I'm afraid that he is no longer a malevolent spirit but an Evil G.o.d as my son proclaims," said the Emperor of the Black Turtle race.

The Emperor of the Phoenix Emperor asked, "The possibility of the soul he ate being revived after killing?"

"Zero. Any soul eaten by this Evil G.o.d would be digested and its existence would forever perish. Not even being able to reincarnate even with your phoenix bloodline's special ability." replied the Black Turtle Emperor.

With a forlorn expression on his face, the Phoenix Emperor had silent mourning for his son in his heart. "Maybe I shouldn't have allowed that brat to descend that time. If I had not agreed, Ye'er wouldn't end up like that."

"Yeah right! If not for your son going there would that stupid cub of mine go down there as well? Because he is looking for your son that my cub had been eaten as well!!" said the Emperor of the White Tiger Race at this moment his eyes were in immense sadness and raging anger. Then he moved his gaze and glared at the Dragon Emperor and said, "I'm descending in the human world. I want to kill that b.a.s.t.a.r.d who ate my son. I want to mince him to pieces and smash his bones to ashes. I will never stop until I kill that Evil G.o.d!"

The Phoenix Emperor said, "I agree with Lao Bai this time. If I don't even avenge my own son then what's the worth of being the Emperor."

The Dragon Emperor didn't agree right away as he looked at the Emperor of the Black Turtle race.

"How about you, Xiao Gui?"

"Something happened in the Underworld. I do not know what my brat had transferred in there but almost half of it was destroyed. I've tried Isolating it but it doesn't seem to fade," he answered.

A frown appeared on the Dragon Emperor's face. The existence of the Underworld is extremely important to their world. This is the land of death that supervises the reincarnation of everything in this world. If the Underworld is destroyed then... The souls would go astray and they wouldn't be able to enter reincarnation when that happens the two realms would be pulled into a world of chaos with the living and dead living in a single s.p.a.ce and the stability of the world getting destroyed.

The Dragon Emperor said, "Nothing must have happened to the Underworld. Xiao Gui cleaned it up as soon as possible. The three of us will descend. The Evil G.o.d and the Ghost King must perish. Prepare to descend, we will bring your weapons."

"Good!! Good!!! I can finally avenge my cub,"  said the Emperor of the White Tiger Clan.

Meanwhile, in the Mortal Realm, the two DemiG.o.ds Xie Ye and Shen Ling had gone to the Ancient Palace with the rest. These two sat together in the living room with Ou Ya and Lin Ye. The Ghost King helped in healing their wounds and the two DemiG.o.ds were left speechless.

DemiG.o.d Yi said, "Like a ghost, you can use the light elements?"

"Is there a problem with me as a G.o.d doing so? It just happens that Light Elements is something I can use. Plus the Ghost King is a t.i.tle the Heavenly wills of this world had given to me after going against them when I ascended to G.o.dhood. I wanted to stay in the mortal realm as G.o.d but that didn't agree to it. So they stripped me of my vessel and Imprisoned me in my palace until my Consort had finally arrived. Thankfully, my wife has finally gone to see me." said the Ghost King as he smiled at Xue Hua who smiled back at him.

Everyone can see the true love between the Ghost King and Xue Hua which made those who worried about Xue Hua happy that he didn't marry the wrong person.

DemiG.o.d Ling said, "Isn't it good that Xiao Hua married a good man? Aren't you worried about this too, A'Yi?"

Xie Yi's cheeks flushed in embarra.s.sment as his partner suddenly mentioned this. "S-So what... W-We've been protecting him for years and this old man would like it if he married a jerk or something. Good thing that the Ghost King only has a bad reputation but a good man."

HAHAHAHAHA

Everyone laughed at him as he looked like a tsundere old man, especially with his cheeks red. Xue Yan and Hu Yue arrived with some drinks and snacks for the guests. The injuries of the two were immediately healed by the Ghost King.

The Ghost King spoked, "Your injuries aren't fatal and it was healing fast thanks to your bloodline. But those guys would definitely return here. Now that they knew about your extinct bloodlines and because they wanted to take away my wife."

"We must leave as soon as possible. We can hide temporarily under the sea. I have a mansion there. Would you like to come with us, Xiao Hua? Those people from the Upper realm are targeting you. Your soul is special and it's extremely attractive to them. You can hide with use until they all give up." said Shen Ling.

Despite the danger and their current situation, these two DemiG.o.ds worry about Xue Hua even more. In their eyes, Xue Hua is just a young boy who hasn't lived his life for too long. They were worried that he would die too young.

The Ghost King understood their worries and said, "Don't worry. I can protect my wife."

"That's not the problem. What if... While you are fighting someone sneaks somewhere and takes him. Can you a.s.sure that you can protect Xiao Hua? There is no way those Mystical Races would only bring a few this time. They might bring their troops to besiege you!" said Xie Yi.

A serious expression appeared on the Ghost King's face and said, "Even if the whole world is against us, I can protect my wife, this is what I had vowed in the Divine Heavens."

Silence ascended in the room. They could feel the seriousness in the Ghost King's words. Not only his black eyes were glintings with a bit of crimson, but the aura that comes from him is also extremely dark and dangerous as they would be devoured until nothing is left.
