Chapter 1737: He's Cultivating?

Klaus continued to revel in the feeling that he almost forgot about the test as a whole. He quickly realized that if he wanted more benefits, then he needed to increase the quality of cold entering his body. Without a second thought, the lights on the carvings, which had stopped on the Seventh floor for almost a minute, soared. From the Seventh floor all the way to the Tenth floor in nothing more than a second.

"How's this possible?!"

A young lady closed her mouth in shock. It's not that getting to the Tenth floor was impossible, after all, multiple people have achieved that today. What was crazy was how Klaus suddenly went from the Seventh to the Tenth floor in an instant was unheard of. Before crossing each floor, one first needs to resolve the energy that was sent into their bodies from the ice wall. This is the reason everyone had to wait for a second or so before heading to the next floor. There are even people who wait until they are confident enough before getting to the next level. What Klaus just achieved was something that shouldn't be possible since he at least needed to resolve the cold, unless...

When everyone thought about a potential reason he could jump to the Tenth floor in an instant, they couldn't help but suck in a cold breath. Jumping straight to the tenth floor meant that he resolved the problem of the ice even before it left the ice wall and entered his body. Resolving the Eighth and Ninth floor cold in an instant shook the very core of everyone from the Crescent Moon Faction, and even those from the Moonlight Faction who managed to reach the Tenth floor. They knew how powerful the cold was, yet Klaus acted like they were nonexistent.

Is the world still fair?

A lot of the people present were unwilling, they didn't want to accept the fact that Klaus wasn't on their level. Even the Elders wouldn't dare to say they could achieve the same thing Klaus did.

That wasn't the end of their shock; looking at Klaus' expression, they saw a comfortable smile on his face; there was even a trace of pleasure.

"He's cultivating?" Someone asked doubtfully. They all knew the expression Klaus had on his face right now, and it was that of when one finds a valuable treasure and plundering it. Klaus stayed in the same spot for two minutes, almost shattering the worldview of those watching as he once again instantly crossed to the First Order of the Eleventh floor.

The second Klaus achieved this, the heart of the young man who made a gamble with him clenched tightly, he didn't want to believe it, but his opportunity to quickly break through to the Half G.o.d Plane was seemingly slipping away from his hand. He wanted to speak, but no words left his mouth. He noticed that when the light got to the First Order of the Eleventh floor, its glow diminished greatly which was a sign of indicating Klaus might be getting close to his limit. He heaved a sigh of relief when he noticed this.

As long as Klaus doesn't enter the Twelfth floor, then it would be a tie, leaving him with his chance.

Klaus didn't hurry, and surprisingly, no one bothered him.

He opened his eyes after almost five minutes and saw that everyone was still watching him. He looked at the ice wall and then the carving of the Ice Chamber, a glint flashed in his eyes as he turned to look in the direction of the young man. He caught sight of the young man heaving a sigh of relief.

Another minute later he looked at the ice wall, and irritation appeared on his face.

When everyone saw this, they guessed that Klaus was at his limit, he might be heaven- defying, but at least he wasn't still out of reach.

Although Klaus hadn't gotten to the Twelfth floor and would most likely stop on the Eleventh floor, no one here actually looked down on him. Getting to the Eleventh floor alone indicated that he was a great talent.

"What's so special about the Twelfth floor?" Klaus muttered again, and before the eyes of everyone, Klaus' body shook vigorously, and his aura spiked.

"He's breaking through!"

Someone exclaimed from the crowd. Klaus was breaking through while still in the middle of the test, he asked the same question that made everyone enraged when they first heard it, but no one tried to refute him. As Klaus' body shook, so did the ice wall, and the Twelfth floor, which had been lit some minutes ago by the talented Suzanne, lit up once again. This time, the person who was standing there wasn't Suzanne, rather, it was the arrogant Klaus.

Klaus was standing there in an imposing manner, his aura flared as it broke through the constraint of the Fifth stage of the Sovereign Plane, entering the Sixth stage of the Sovereign Plane, taking another step closer to the peak of the world.

His eyes showed disdain, as he asked once again, "What's so special about the Twelfth floor?"

As his statement came to a halt, the dimming light shone even brighter than before, and slowly but surely, the light went from the Second order of the Twelfth floor and got to the First Order.

The entire place was deathly silent, most of the people present even forgot to breathe as they looked at the carving in the ice wall. It was clear for them to see that the First Order of the Twelfth floor had been lit. In thousands of years of the history of the Ice Chamber, only three people have gotten to the First Order of the Twelfth floor.

The Twelfth floor, which could rarely be reached by one person in over a thousand years in some eras, has been achieved twice in less than thirty minutes. Could it really be said to be hard to come by in hundreds of years when two people got it, and Klaus' situation was so odd?
