A flurry of game hints refreshed, leaving Fang Heng momentarily dazed as he took half a minute to sort through them.
Overall, the first mission line involved cooperation with the Revolution Society.
Following the normal mission route, Ken from the Revolution Society would likely have betrayed him.
However, since he had eliminated the president Narlyev and the Jealousy demonic seed ahead of time, the follow-up mission line was directly cut off, earning him a compensation of 60,000 King of G.o.ds' points from the game.
The second mission line involved collaboration with the Conservatives.
It seemed that collaborating with the Conservatives ultimately aimed at eliminating the Jealousy demonic seed avatar.
Since he had essentially completed the final mission ahead of time, he was now ready for the final settlement.
As for the reward, it was the so-called invitation for further study from the Occult Society.
With the additional rewards from his Greed talent, he could choose three study projects simultaneously.
The specifics of these projects were still unclear; he would likely need to go to the Occult Society to find out more.
As for the third option, he could pursue it independently...
The Book of Greleng, in addition to unlocking the function for mission items, had also granted an additional boost to his level.
Nice!
Fang Heng took out the Book of Greleng that he had just picked up.
The eye on the Book of Greleng had changed to a different color.
[Item: Book of Greleng (Advancement++).]
Type: Academic book; Effects activate immediately upon being placed in the backpack.
Description: A book that records various magic runes and magic arrays related to demonic seeds. By using the Book of Greleng, players gain an additional 20% success rate bonus when releasing academic skills; players also receive an extra 20% bonus when sealing or destroying demonic seeds.
Description: Players can use this book to establish a h.e.l.l Gate and summon a projection of the h.e.l.l Gate. The attributes of the h.e.l.l Gate are related to the player's attributes. (Creatures summoned from the h.e.l.l Gate cannot be controlled by the player and will not default to friendly units.)
Not a bad prop!
Fang Heng quickly checked the effects of the Book of Greleng.
The additional 20% bonus to sealing and damaging demonic seeds was certainly valuable!
As for the h.e.l.l Gate...
He felt its effectiveness was limited.
He recalled the h.e.l.l Gates summoned by the Revolution Society in previous encounters.
No matter how he looked at it, the h.e.l.l creatures summoned weren't as useful as the zombie clones.
However, they could potentially be used to create some chaos.
Perhaps...
Fang Heng suddenly thought that the blood of h.e.l.l creatures had decent potency.
While zombie clones couldn't produce high-concentration blood, perhaps h.e.l.l creatures could?
He would have to try it out!
Lost in thought, Fang Heng looked up into the sky.
The Conservatives were chasing after the Jealousy demonic seed in the distance. As soon as the demonic seed and Narlyev entered the Revolution Society, they had lost sight of them.
Only a few of the closest pursuers had witnessed the moment when Narlyev was taken down by Fang Heng.
Fernando led the group into the territory of the Revolution Society, scanning the surroundings but finding no trace of the demonic seed. Eventually, all eyes turned to Fang Heng.
"Fang Heng, where is the Jealousy demonic seed?"
"It's been dealt with," he replied.
What?
Dealt with?
At his words, everyone shot skeptical looks at Fang Heng.
They had exerted so much effort chasing after the demonic seed, only for it to have been quietly defeated by Fang Heng?
It felt unreal.
After all, it was a demonic seed!
How could it be that easy to kill?
Seeing the skeptical looks from the crowd, Fang Heng shrugged and said, "It was just the split form of the Jealousy demonic seed. Its power isn't strong, and having been sealed for so long, it's significantly weakened."
The Conservatives began to whisper among themselves, clearly in disbelief.
Ruan Ziying, who had come with the Federation, was also bewildered, staring at Fang Heng in confusion.
What did this mean?
Fang Heng had suddenly come to the Watts world, and just two days later, he claimed he had completely dealt with the biggest boss in the Watts world?
"Don't forget, I'm also a demonic seed. We're all demonic seeds. Why couldn't I take it down?"
Fang Heng's question left everyone momentarily speechless.
The two accompanying elders from the Occult Society exchanged glances, then closed their eyes, focusing to condense an imprint to sense the presence of the Jealousy demonic seed.
After a moment, they opened their eyes simultaneously, both wearing strange expressions.
"Elder, did you find anything?"
"Hmm, indeed. We can no longer sense the aura of the Jealousy demonic seed."
Everyone gasped in shock.
Not anymore?
Had Fang Heng really taken care of it?
Fernando turned to Fang Heng, his voice serious, "Fang Heng, the demonic seed is a critical issue. Can we go in and take a look?"
"The Revolution Society was cleared out before you arrived," Fang Heng replied. "If you want to see it, feel free."
Fang Heng stepped aside as Abe Akaya, having completed the absorption of the demonic seed, coiled back. The zombies and vampires that had arrived through the teleportation pa.s.sage were now returning to the Zombie Apocalypse, taking their plundered items with them.
Even the magic array originally set up in the bas.e.m.e.nt was dismantled along with the stone slab and transported back to the Zombie Apocalypse.
At this point, the headquarters of the Revolution Society was merely a sh.e.l.l of its former self.
No matter how the Occult Joint Committee and the Conservatives inspected the area, they wouldn't find anything of significance.
