Although the condition of the path improved, another problem appeared.
We didn’t know which way to go in order to reach our destination.
According to Greed, if the pa.s.sage isn’t closed off, then about 2000 meters ahead there should be a pa.s.sage into a nearby well.

“There is a pa.s.sage that leads up out of the network. It’s a natural cave, and should have a clearer path than the maze.”
“Say so quicker! Little Bai, hit upwards!”
Heiluoli immediately said.
“It’s just that there are a lot of monsters up there……and they aren’t easy to deal with.”
Greed gave a weak smile.
“I’ve fought them before and they were really difficult. Although they weren’t very strong, their numbers are annoying.”

I thought for a moment.
“Not strong is fine. Please hit it lightly Bai Yueguang~”

When I looked out I could see countless spiders looking at us from the darkness. I don’t know if they were using a skill to sneak or some special reason but I couldn’t see their t.i.tles or names.
But that wasn’t anything to frighten me.
“Super Arcane · Thousand Year Frozen River.”
With a snap of my fingers, the crystals on my magic book shattered and blue magic light swept across the room, freezing the spiders.
In less than three seconds, every spider in the cave had become icy sculptures.
“You see, this is what I meant.”
I said to Greed as I pointed at the ice sculptures.
“As long as they aren’t strong.”
