Chapter 580: Mechanical Beast – 1
The expression on the reporter changed.
Director Liu let out a sigh.
He Ming looked at the reporter and said, “Suns.h.i.+ne Daily? Are you guys not happy with the person that People’s Daily especially wrote about, or you guys are dissatisfied with the little hero praised by the Department of Defense?”
Both People’s Daily and the Department of Defense belonged to the government, while Suns.h.i.+ne Daily was just a small media publisher in Yu City, so the reporter did not have the guts to go up against He Ming at all.
Besides, it also seemed to him that all of the students in No.1 High School admired Fu Zhi. They did not seem forced at all.
The reporter from Suns.h.i.+ne Daily waved his hand as cold sweats began to ooze out of his head. “No, no, no, please don’t get me wrong. We’re on the same side as the public. It’s just that we want to know more about her.”
Ye Jiu was standing beside Fu Zhi right now. There was no expression on his face as he let out a sneer, “What a fence-sitter.”
“If Suns.h.i.+ne Daily is not going to do an interview session with Ms. Fu Zhi, then can you guys move aside? Let the rest of us do it. We hope the school will give us at Moonlight Daily a chance! We truly admire the professionalism of teachers of No.1 High School, and the greatness of Ms. Fu herself.”
“Get lost! Glory Sun Daily was the first to come here! If you want to do an interview, we have to do it first!”
“We from Huaxi Daily are also willing to make an interview session with Ms. Fu and No.1 High School!”
“Ms. Fu, please look at the camera!”
The bunch of reporters all crowded around Fu Zhi and pushed the reporter from Suns.h.i.+ne Daily away.
Fu Zhi raised her head and looked at the camera.
The face of the reporter from Suns.h.i.+ne Daily was dark. He tried his best to get back to his spot, but other reporters pushed him away. “Mr. Xu, we’re here to work for our company. It’s fine if you want to act like an *ss, but try your best not to drag us into this one.”
The camera of the reporter for Suns.h.i.+ne Daily fell to the ground and shattered into pieces as he was pushed away by the other reporters.
His face turned dark and stamped his feet in frustration as he took a look at the other reporters.
He then picked his camera up from the ground and left.
—
It took less than 30 minutes for the interview and photo session.
n.o.body knew where Director Liu got his sponsors from. There was a drone flying in the air, taking aerial shots of the school.
Inside Cla.s.s 21.
There were a lot of students waiting outside Cla.s.s 21 as they all wanted to get Fu Zhi’s autograph as well as talk to her.
Fu Zhi paid them no mind, so Song Fang, w.a.n.g Yu, and Fatty helped her to get rid of them.
They had changed their seating plan in the cla.s.s.
Fu Zhi and Su Xing were sitting near the window right now.
Fu Zhi had been away for roughly two weeks, yet her table was sparkly clean. All of the books were neatly placed at the corner and inside the drawer of her desk, and she could see that there were some other books on her table as well.
She nodded satisfyingly as she put her phone on the table. She picked a book from the top of the stack and flipped through it. “Are these distributed by the school?”
Su Xing was in Director Liu’s office right now as he wanted to know what had happened during the event this morning.
Song Fang’s expression froze for a moment when he heard her question. He scratched his head and said, “Well… All I can say is that it’s a little token from Wu Zhiyou.”
“Wu Zhiyou? Why is she giving you all books? Did anything happen when I was away?”
After all, considering the things that happened between her and the Wu Family, there was no way Wu Zhiyou and she could be friends.
Fu Zhi took another new book out of her table as she wanted to give it to Wu Zhiyou.
She did not raise her head up, so she did not see the hint of disbelief that crossed Song Fang and a few boys’ faces.
“Well, everything is fine,” Song Fang said, his eyes twinkling, “The final examination is around the corner, and everyone is busy with their studies.”
Fu Zhi raised her head. She squinted her eyes, and just when she tried to discern the emotion in his eyes, Ma Mingquan came in and smacked a heap of stuff on her desk.
There were certificates, pennants, and many other awards given to her by the government.
She looked at them with a frown.
Ma Mingquan patted her shoulder, “So what do you think, Fu Zhi? Tell us a couple of things about how you feel! Especially after seeing these awards and pennants.”
“It’s better if they give me money. I don’t even know what I should do with these pennants and certificates.”
Everyone was speechless.
