In front of the exquisite drop-shaped table, a man was working. Under the light, the profile of his face was more chiseled. His fine hair was scattered above the tight eyebrows, and trembled slightly with the movement of his hands.

“Boss!” Wu Gang shouted without knocking at the door.

Mo Yichen looked up at Wu Gang discontentedly and got back to the work.

“What?” Hearing Mo Yichen’s short and powerful reply, Wu Gang could not help swallowing saliva.

“I heard that Wen Yunfeng went to Miss Gu Yan’s studio and raised the devil. Now her studio is in a mess.” Wu Gang panted and reported the news he had just received.

“What?” Hearing the familiar name, Mo Yichen stopped writing, and looked even worse.

He closed the pen with a clap, looked at Wu Gang and motioned him to continue.

“This morning, Wen Yunfeng knew the location of Miss Gu Yan’s studio, and immediately went there. I heard that he made her studio in a mess, and Miss Gu Yan was in a bad mood.”

Wu Gang said, and observed Mo Yichen’s expression cautiously.

Except for the slight discontent before, Wu Gang could not see any reaction from Mo Yichen’s expression. He really could not figure out what Mo Yichen was thinking.

They kept silent for a long time, and the air pressure in the entire office was really low and breathless.

“Put off all the meetings in the afternoon. Come with me to meet Wen Yunfeng and his family. Let’s see what kind of person they are.”

Mo Yichen spoke suddenly.

Wu Gang seemed to gamble in his mind and he was sure that Mo Yichen would do something. When Mo Yichen spoke, Wu Gang immediately agreed as if Mo Yichen’s decision fit in with his thoughts.

“Okay. Boss. I got it.” He knew that Mo Yichen had a crush on Gu Yan. His love for her was becoming more and more obvious.

The office returned to silence, but Mo Yichen’s heart could no longer calm down.

His mind was filled with Gu Yan’s reluctant and stubborn face when she looked at Wen Yunfeng destroying her studio.

“She indeed kept faith.” Mo Yichen muttered with tenderness in his eyes.

Just after lunch, Mo Yichen took Wu Gang to Wen’s family.

Wen’s family were having lunch. When the doorbell rang, Mo Yichen walked in the house, which was out of their expectation.

“Mr. Mo, why are you here?” Wen Yunfeng’s father saw Mo Yichen first, quickly wiped mouth and greeted him.

Hearing the words, Wen Yunfeng and Grandma Wen also turned around and realized it was really Mo Yichen!

“Sorry to bother you.” Mo Yichen said. His unexpected visit filled the whole family with trepidation.

Wen Yunfeng had a bad hunch since Mo Yichen suddenly visited Wen’s family. Maybe Mo Yichen would say something about Gu Yan.

Thinking of this, Wen Yunfeng’s mouth twitched stiffly.

“Mr. Mo, you must be joking! We would like to treat you well. Nanny, go to the kitchen and cook some tasty dishes to serve Mr. Mo.” Wen Yunfeng’s father hurriedly enjoined the nanny.

“There is no need to do that. The reason I come here today is to tell you one thing. After I finished, I’m afraid that you don’t want to have your lunch.”

Mo Yichen went to the sofa directedly and sat down with his legs crossed. His eyes were so cold that others couldn’t find out what he was thinking.

Wen Yunfeng and his father looked at each other. It seemed that their hunch was right. There was really nothing good. Thinking of this, they came to sit in front of Mo Yichen.

“Is it because of Gu Yan that Mr. Mo come here?” Wen Yunfeng said first, and thought that his cooperation with Mo Yichen had already been broken because of Gu Yan.

Therefore, he couldn’t be nice to Mo Yichen.

Mo Yichen sneered. Unexpectedly, Wen Yunfeng dared to mention this matter on his own initiative.

Seeing this situation, Wen Yunfeng’s father quickly patted his son to motion him to stop talking.

“Mr. Wen is really a bright person. Well, I will not beat around the bush. Yes, I am here to talk about Gu Yan.” Mo Yichen confessed it. He didn’t care that the person in front of him was Gu Yan’s ex-husband.

Wen’s family were silent and Wen Yunfeng’s father smiled awkwardly because he didn’t know how to break the ice.

“I know that Gu Yan once was the daughter-in-law of your Wen’s family. Because of some misunderstandings, you are prejudiced against her, so…”

“Mr. Mo, it seems none of your business. After all, it’s an affair of our Wen’s family. I think you have asked too much.”

Before Mo Yichen finished his words, Wen Yunfeng interrupted him. Wen Yunfeng felt that his dignity had been trampled by the man in front of him since Mo Yichen was better than him not only on the career, but also on how to get along well with woman. He was jealous of Mo Yichen.
