MY KIND OF LOVE 10 That's My Woman

On a Sat.u.r.day evening, at 6pm a black Audi came in front of Miray's house. A handsome man stepped out of the car with flowers in his hands. He wore a tuxedo made by one of the famous designers, that made him look more handsome, he was really tall and had brown hair with a beard. The man knocked on Miray's door and waited for her to come out. After a minute Miray opened the door and came out.

"So, you must be Terrence?" Miray smiled as she looked at the man who was standing at the door.

"h.e.l.lo Miray," he handed Miray the lilies he had brought for her.

"Thank you, you don't mind waiting for a second, do you? let me put these in a vase." 

"Okay, I will wait." Terrence replied and gave her a wink.

'What a natural,' Miray thought to herself as she went inside to put the flowers in a vase. When she came out Terrence had been a gentleman and opened the car door for her and the two left.

The grand opening party was held at a seven star hotel in the center of the city. Most of the higher ups and top celebrities attended the ceremony, everybody looking all flashy with their expensive outfits. One woman dressed in a plain white dress seemed to catch everyone's attention. The woman's dress was not flashy like everybody else but it looked stunning on her. The white dress was worn with  red shoes and a red purse, both the shoes and purse were a designer limited edition. The woman didn't have a lot of makeup neither did she wear a lot of jewelry except for a simple silver necklace. She had beautiful long legs that made both women and men to stare. The man by her side was very handsome and the two looked good together. Everybody was wondering who that woman might have been for they had never seen her before at such type of occasions. Miray looked around trying to find a familiar face. She was not used to such crowded places and everybody seemed to be staring at her. 

Terrence sensed that Miray was nervous, he bent down and whispered into her ears, "are you nervous?"

Before Miray could answer, she noticed the set of eyes that were staring at her from the corner of the room. It was Skylar Vandeers. A chill went down her spine when she saw him. Skylar's eyes were focused on Terrence's hand around Miray's waist.

Miray noticed so she looked at Terrence while smiling, " i am alright, thank you for coming with me." When she turned back her eyes to where Skylar was, he wasn't there anymore. 

After going through the crowd for 15 minutes Miray finally saw Mr. Carlos. She went straight to him and greeted him. "h.e.l.lo Mr. Carlos, I am Miray Yethu the CEO of MIT."

Mr. Carlos was stunned after seeing Miray, "such a beautiful woman, how are you my beauty? I did not expect you to make it.." he received the handshake from Miray.

"I did not expect to make it myself, is there a place we could sit down and talk?" Miray did not want to waste time so she decided to get straight to the point.

Mr. Carlos could sense Miray's eagerness to leave, "oh my beauty the party has just began, I still have a few guest I have to greet,.. I will have someone find you before the party ends... Oooh h.e.l.lo Mr. Craywood.." he suddenly turned his attention to the man who just walked in. Miray knew something like this would happen, so she decided to be patient and wait till when she could talk to him. 

Terrence was easygoing and was being a gentleman towards Miray, giving her good company. He saw some of his friends and decided to greet them so Miray excused herself to the bathroom. She just wanted a quite place where she could be for sometime but the bathroom was also loaded with a lot of women retouching their makeup. 

After looking around for sometime Miray found a balcony at the eastern side of the hall. No one seemed to have known of it yet so she went there to get some fresh by herself. 

The night was clear and the stars s.h.i.+ned beautifully. Miray took a deep breath as she got the smell of the flowers that were in a garden nearby. That moment was really peaceful for her, she wished she had stayed there till when the party was over. Suddenly long arms wrapped around her, giving her a hug from behind. Miray was surprised and wondered who it was and then she got the familiar scent of perfume. It was him. Her eyes widened and she felt a cold s.h.i.+ver go through her.

Miray remained calm and didn't move an inch, "I don't remember us being this close..."

Skylar lowered down his head and took the smell around her neck, " I don't see anything wrong, I am just hugging my future wife."

'Future wife? this man must be crazy!' But there was something about Skylar, if it had been somebody else Miray would never let that person live after holding her like that.

"I also don't remember agreeing to marry you.." Miray could feel his breath on her neck that sent chills down her body.

Skylar seemed to notice the changes made by Miray's body and then he brushed his nose on her neck, "you seem to be enjoying this small intimacy we are having.."

'Small intimacy?' Miray realised what he meant, so she removed his arms around her and turned around to face him. "Hold me like that again, and I will kill you."

The stare battle between them began again, Miray didn't know how much longer she could continue looking into his beautiful eyes, when finally he retreated.

"Miray, I will make you mine..." Skylar smiled as he started to stroke Miray's cheeks.

Miray didn't answer him. She stepped to the other side and was walked past him.

Skylar grabbed Miray's hand and said, "Don't let him hold you like that again... If you care for him at all.."

"What do you mean?" Miray turned around and looked at him.

"The guy you came with,..Miray, you know what I am capable of.." the smile that was on his face before had disappeared at that moment.

Miray remembered how Skylar had looked at Terrence's hand around her waist, her heart fluttered but she did not show any emotion on her face, " don't make me an excuse for your devilish acts."

"Miray, don't make me do it.." he pulled her closed to him, she could see the jealousy in his eyes.

Miray twisted his arm around and flipped him over to the floor, " I warned you about touching me!". She looked down at him, smiled and left the balcony.

Skylar was still on the floor, he started to laugh as he said to himself, "that's my woman..". He took out his phone and called a.s.sistant Kin to bring him another pair of suit.
