"It's an old game, played by some G.o.ddesses before...".
Yumine teased Lilieth, complimented by a sarcastic grin,
"Right...OLD...".
That sudden moment, Lilieth's eyes turned dark. The air around them was chilled frozen, due to Lilieth's sudden change in personality. She popped out a stainless knife in her hand and tried to threaten Yumine. As Lilieth had the eyes of a pa.s.sionate and smiling killer,
"What did you say?".
Yumine turned white immediately,
"N-nothing...".
Sooner or later, Lilieth vanished her knife that was ready to slice Yumine before. Moreover, her aura of murderous death was gone as well. Who knew that some G.o.ddesses were very much concerned and alarmed about their ages. Lilieth snapped her fingers and she poof out a copper board with strange inscriptions. More so, at the center of the tablet had a roulette and a cute little wooden doll standing on one of the triangular areas. Strange thing is, there were questions instead of numbers.
"So dusty...",
Yumine told her regards about the state of the tablet. Although, Lilieth just let it slide and explained the game's rules and instructions,
"What we'll have to do is...just spin the wheel thing and wait for this little wooden doll to trip over at a certain triangular area, like it was the ball in a roulette game. Then, as it had stop at that certain slice of an area, we'll just have to answer that question...kinda?".
After that, Lilieth made a motivational smile,
"Pretty simple right?".
Yumine looked uninterested,
"And you call this fun? Also, why do I have a feeling I'm getting negative vibes from this?".
Lilieth just shoved away Yumine's worries,
"Don't worry about that...so why don't you go first Yumi?".
Yumine replied,
"Kay...".
Later, Yumine spinned the wheel. The tiny and adorable wooden doll was running like it was in a superfast treadmill. Both Yumine and Otorine were astunned over the wooden doll's magical action. As soon as the spinning wheel slowed down and stopped. The little wooden doll flopped to the next triangular area, like it was a tired runner. That moment, magical words popped out of from the board for Yumine to see,
"What's your favorite food?".
Yumine was delving in her thoughts for a few seconds. Although, soon enough, she answered,
"My fave food is...seaweed...".
As she was done answering the question, she made a proud smile for some reason. Suddenly, out of nowhere, a giant metal pan fell on Yumine's head,
"Ouch!".
Then, she noticed that the pan fell to the ground afterwards. In turn, she questioned Lilieth, while she was making a disturbed and annoyed look,
"Hey! What the h.e.l.l was that!?".
Lilieth coughed with her hand, while her eyes were shut,
"Ahem! If you're lying, then you'll suffer the consequences.".
Otorine remembered something,
"Oh! So it's similar to truth or dare?".
Lilieth nodded. Thereupon, Yumine confessed, while she was feeling irritated,
"Geez alright! My favorite food is roast chicken! There happy!".
A metal pan didn't hit her head. Instead, they've heard a ding-dong sound that proved that Yumine's second aswer was correct. Suddenly, a plate of whole roast chicken appeared in front of Yumine's table. In turn, Yumine was delighted with sparkling eyes,
"Cool!".
Lilieth looked at Otorine next,
"Now it's your turn Ori!".
Otorine nodded. As soon as her flawless hand gripped on the roulette spinning pin, the cute wooden doll stood up straight. When Otorine twisted the wheel once again, the little doll ran as fast as it could. A while later, the roulette had stopped spinning and the cute wooden doll fell to the next triangular area again. As expected, another magical question popped from the board in which Otorine read,
"What's your most hated weapon...".
Otorine touched her lips. Not much soon, she told her answer straight,
"My most hated weapon would be...hammers...".
There after, the correct sound came from the board again. Somehow, Otorine was hearing something from the distance that was getting near at high speed,
"Hm?".
Through the short distance, a flinging hammer was heading straight to Otorine. For some unusual reason, Otorine bent herself down as she was reaching something that fell off to the ground. In turn, she dodged the flinging hammer and Yumine took the hard blow instead. Poor Yumine. Yumine felt dizzy and a sting of pain, so she exclaimed,
"WHAT THE h.e.l.lS!".
Yumine asked her friend about something,
"Did you just lie Ori?! And how come I'm the one who got hit huh?".
Lilieth made a serious grin and crossed her arms,
"Even though Ori answered the truth. She still has to face the consequences fearlessly. It's like facing your hatred and fears...kinda...".
Yumine expressed herself,
"Ya know what...this game's stupid...Ugh, I guess it's your turn Lilieth...".
Lilieth spinned the wheel and as usual the same cycle happened. The miniature wooden girl flopped to a certain area once again. There after, enchanted words floated above the board and Lilieth told it for Otorine and Yumine to hear,
"Most loved hero in your world's legacy...".
As Lilieth saw the question, she felt a cold shoulder and swallowed her throat,
"That huh...".
Lilieth took a deep breath and said her honest answer,
"My most loved hero would be...Senku...".
Yumine spurt out her currently drinking juice drink straight at Otorine's face as she was widely shocked,
"WHAT?! Senku was a hero in your world too?!".
Thereon, Yumine guessed,
"Wai-wait...that would mean...".
Lilieth replied early,
"Yes, Senku was reincarnated in my and my twin sister's world after his lifetime at Amora's world came to an end...".
While for Otorine she just wiped her face with a cloth as she was drenched thanks to Yumine's sudden spurt of lemonade. Although, Otorine was grumbling as well. Since, Yumine disturbed her in her trance of eating her meal wondrous meal. Yumine continued the flow of conversation, as she was eager to know more,
"Ooooh do tell! And what about your case with twin sister Liliath? Do you have some sort of rivalry?".
The ambiance became awkward as Lilieth didn't reply immediately. Instead she just held her hands and sighed. Then, she made a complacent look,
"I'll just cut it short...".
Soon, Lilieth explained a part of her memory in vivid detail.
In Lilieth's visualized flashback, Senku was holding her hand, while they were running away at the high plains basked in eternal and stellar purple night. Though, Senku was wearing a rugged adventurer's outfit that didn't look-like what royalties would wear. While for Lilieth, she looked-like an actual princess of the stars due to her dazzling snowy white outfit.
"AFTER THEM! GET THE PRINCESS!",
as an agonized manly n.o.ble blurted out his command from behind the two. It seemed Lilieth and Senku were running away from some band of n.o.ble knights. Soon, the two arrived at the end of the cliff and below them was the overwhelming tides of sea green. The only thing Senku could do was to express his anguish as they came upon at a dead end,
"Darn!".
Lilieth uttered out,
"Let's jump Senku...".
Senku s.h.i.+fted his head and looked below. There, he saw that the tides were gus.h.i.+ng strong such as a maelstrom was cras.h.i.+ng the waves in turmoil. He looked back at Lilieth and expressed like he was a worried kid,
"It's dangerous!".
Lilieth held Senku's hands and looked at him straight with her eyes that looked-like glistening crystals in the light of hope,
"Just believe in me...believe in your G.o.ddess...".
Through Senku's senses, he was clearly noticing that Lilieth was having an optimistic smile that looked-like she wanted him to trust her. As Senku noticed that the men who wanted to capture them were getting near, he came to a decision,
"Sigh, okay...".
He grabbed her hands and jumped through the cliff, bringing along Lilieth with him afterwards. While they were falling, they were feeling the gale against their faces. When everything was about to end for them, Lilieth shut her eyes and clasped her hands. The next moment, her majestic cosmic white wings of a mixed demon and angel emerged from her arching back. She swooped down and embraced the falling Senku around her benevolent arms. Then, she flew high in the sky such as she was angel travelling through the night. Technically, she's a G.o.ddess. Senku was at a loss for words as Lilieth looked majestic up close. Though, he wasn't that shocked somehow,
"Since you have wings too...I guess I'll give you 6/10 G.o.ddess points...".
Lilieth was annoyed by his below-average rating,
"How much do I have to tell you! I'm a real G.o.ddess okay!".
Though, she just stopped proving the facts and suggested something else,
"Nevermind, let's meetup with my twin sister G.o.ddess...".
Senku was mystified,
"Hm?".
Sooner or later, Lilieth ascended above the clouds, while she was still lifting Senku. Down below, the violet clouds looked-like the luminous pathway to paradise pictured by the old religion. Although, it looked very enigmatic since it was dazzled in purple crevices. A while later, they arrived at a unique-looking open-air temple floating above the sky. Though, the place was quite different in its design. As the place was carved in the brilliance of pure white opal and dazzling obsidian pillars clade in violet carpet. It's as if the place was melded in the amazing balance of light and dark in beautiful harmony. Lilieth let Senku stand on the floating temple beside her. From the short distance, Liliath took notice of them, so she went to them,
"Oh you two are here now, I guess it's a success huh?".
Senku replied with a dumbstruck expression,
"What do you mean princess Liliath?".
Liliath in her black princess outfit pointed her finger upwards and leaned near him, pointing out something to Senku,
"That you've just realized me and my twin sister are the REAL G.o.ddesses of this world?".
Lilieth crossed her arms and made a confident smug. Senku held his chin,
"Err...I'll give you both a 7/10...As everything you had proven to be worthy G.o.ddesses was not that much overwhelming as the others. Since, we were just running away from whatnot poachers...like I don't even know why they're after you two...".
When G.o.ddess Liliath and G.o.ddess Lilieth heard his rating and deduction, they weren't that much happy and satisfied. Afterwards, Liliath acted like an irritated teenage girl,
"Geez, that's so low!".
Then, Lilieth reminded something to her twin sister,
"Oh yeah and sis?".
Liliath nodded. She made a cute cheeleader pose and snapped her fingers, that would make thirsty incels to fawn over her. There after, Liliath told them,
"There, now the mind-control on those humans going after your head sis...is no more!".
Lilieth sighed with relief,
"Thanks...".
It appeared the ones who were after them were just forced to capture her as she was impersonating to be a princess. Senku had his judgements once again,
"So you have that power too huh...I'll give you two a 7.5/10. Yet, I'm still not convinced.".
Lilieth and Liliath noticed that Senku's just dissing them on purpose. Since, he was having a tricky grin on his face. Liliath looked at her twin sister and made a devious grin,
"Say sis? Why don't we prove it to this STUBBORN IDIOT DIRECTLY?".
Lilieth crossed her arms and she had a smile of deep interest afterwards,
"I was thinking the same thing...".
Senku tilted his dumbfounded head,
"Hm, what are you two talking about?
The two G.o.ddesses before him levitated above. Then, they brought out their cosmic black and white wings of true brilliance of the cosmos and divinity. Soon enough, they pointed their platinum scythes clad in purple steel and blackened frame at him. From where Senku was standing at, he saw that the two were the real G.o.ddesses who would strike fear for any mortal being. The gales started to become intense as a grand holy battle was about to start. Thereon, Senku held his chin with an eager look on his face,
"Hoh? This'll be interesting...".
After a while, Lilieth had stopped telling her flashback as she was with Senku. Thereupon, her state came back to her natural senses as she was back at Ru's bar alongside Yumine and Otorine. Lilieth was back to her formal yet s.e.xy outfit of a female proffesor/doctor in a university. Yumine was trying not to laugh but, she couldn't help it,
"Pfft! Senku doesn't believe you're a G.o.ddess before? Even though he already knew a lot of G.o.ddesses in his lifetime?".
Lilieth felt stressed after Yumine uttered her a.n.a.lysis,
"Yeah, convincing him was hard enough, heck it's the most challenging part. Since he wanted me to prove everything that I have the same powers of the other G.o.ddesses he had encountered before!".
Then, Lilieth spilt more in anguish,
"h.e.l.ls! Every G.o.ddess has different powers and situations in their own individual worlds okay!".
There after, Yumine just crossed her arms and rolled her eyes with a tricky smile,
"Uh huh...by the way, if you didn't notice but...Senku's kinda hitting on Ori now...".
Lilieth replied straight,
"That's what I've noticed too...".
Yumine tried to poke and tease Lilieth even more,
"Hmmm, ain't ya a bit jealous?".
Lilieth just looked away but, she was pouting,
"Not really...Hmph!".
Otorine just took a sip of her sweetened licorice drink with seaweed jelly, as she doesn't want to delve into the sensitive conversation about her somehow. Though, her eyes were expressing with surprise and shock. Soon, the awkward air subsided, as Amora emerged from the entrance and took notice of Otorine and company. Not only that, Amora was accompanied by Ru and Shunya. Thereon, Amora and her band of friends went to them,
"Hm? What's up?".
Lilieth responded,
"Oh we're just playing a game called G.o.ddess Fragment wheel...".
Amora told her regards,
"That silly game?".
Shunya expressed her interest like she was a radiant little girl,
"Oooooooh! I wanna try! I wanna try and you should do too Ru and Ammy!".
Amora just crossed her arms and looked away,
"Fine...".
As they were all sitting on the long couches and about to start a new game, Miro and little Na.s.sus came inside the place and saw the G.o.ddesses. The young Na.s.sus overheard their strange conversation during the game,
"It says that, tell your most hated memory...".
Amora just replied sarcastically,
"Kay...".
Then, Amora shared a glimpse of her past,
"My most hated memory would be...being a G.o.ddess slave...".
For some unusual reason, little Na.s.sus trembled and felt a cold shoulder, as he heard Amora's statement. Miro took notice of Na.s.sus who was trembling, so he asked him with great concern,
"Na.s.sus? What's wrong? Can you hear me?".
