The Forgotten Royal 24 Spoil Ourselves 3

About two hours pa.s.sed, we finally walked out the mall with many bags.

"So, that movie technically has very good reviews." I told Kayla as I scanned through the reviews.

"Then, we'll go watch it then." She answered with a smile.

Smiling back small, I open a portal which led back home. We both entered and placed our bags in her home. Fixing our hair to a simple ponytail, we walk out the house once again. Kayla made sure to lock the door before going to the sidewalk. Following her, I check the time and saw that it's nearly five in the afternoon.

"I can't believe time went by so fast." I stated.

"Yeah, that is what happens whenever you try to yourself." Kayla replied with a smile.

"In this case, spoil ourselves."

"Yup yup!"

For the rest of the walk, we remained quiet. Halfway to the theatre, something did not feel right to me at all. A familiar presence lurked in that area, making me to s.h.i.+ver slightly. Stopping on my tracks, I take a quick glance around our surrounding. With a questioning expression, Kayla stops and stares at me.

Looking back at her, I give her a rea.s.suring smile.

"So, you didn't die?!" I heard someone exclaim from behind me.

Looking behind me, I see a pink headed female who was staring at me with complete disbelief.

"... Ash?" I asked, not quite sure if she was my second older sister.

".. Jewel, it is you!!" Ash exclaimed happily, hugging her tightly. "I can't believe it!! It has been nearly an entire year since we last saw each other! Where you able to finish the mission??"

Hugging her back slightly, I answer her with confusion. "Um.. yeah I was able to.."

Ash let's me go and stares at me for a good while. "So.. what happened? Why did that incident happen?"

"I don't know. I think I'm being targeted. Whoever is the mastermind probably had the intentions of killing me."

"Or," Kyla started adding as she walked up to us. "That mastermind was trying to get a hold of you and failed. Think about it, plenty of things happened to you for sure. You never know if those who harmed you are probably bring used as puppets without their knowledge of it."

"... You know.. I never thought about that." I claimed. "Oh! By the way, this is Ash Mia. One of my sisters. Ash this is Kayla... My boyfriend's sister."

"Nice to meet you Kayla!" Ash said with a smile.

"Nice to meet you too As.h.!.+" Kayla replied, returning the smile. "Now... since its getting quite late, why not join us to the movies? We can talk more later."

"Sounds good! What are we watching??" Ash asked.

"It's suppose to be a... romantic/action movie I believe."

"Huh, okay! Let's go then!"
