The Alphas Used And Abused Mate 9 Veronica!

I ran up the stairs, gathering blankets, pillows, and a backpack to stash snacks in because the drive was going to be long. It takes about a day and a half to get to Xander and Veronicas pack, so you better believe I will be ready with the snacks. Currin and I had jumped into the car, I took the pa.s.senger seat and she sat in the back seat of his truck.

"Clyde hurry up!" I yelled through his rolled down window. When he climbed through the door he looked down at me like he was saying, 'seriously..?' and the look itself was hilarious, we then drove off and within an hour I was pa.s.sed out. When I finally started to wake up, I couldn't figure out how we were already in their pack but I wasn't complaining. The first thing I saw was two males sprinting towards us and growls had echoed around the area. Then, Veronicas small body dove off of the d.a.m.n balcony as she wrapped her arms around one of the guys, and her legs yanked back on the others waist.

"That's my little V." Clyde said while enjoying the mini action scene. Clyde and Veronica have always been super close. They knew each other in high school before Clyde transferred to the high school I was at where we discovered that we were mates. Before Ronnie and I became friends, I used to be jealous of their connection but now I see that they are like each others siblings. h.e.l.l, they act like twins. One of them is p.i.s.sed off, the other is just as mad. The other is sad, you best bet they're wasting tissue boxes and ice cream cartons together. Even Currin and I can't compete with that! We both got out the truck and met Veronica, my two arms had clasped around her short, pet.i.te frame.

"Soo, is jumping off balcony's common here?" I asked, slightly laughing.

"It certainly seems to be lately." She said. But I could tell from her tone something wasn't right. So could Clyde.

"Uhh.. Where's Xander? He hasn't met Currin yet haha.." I said to give myself a distraction so the two could talk. She directed me into the pack house and Currin and I left the two.

Xander's POV

I watched Clyde and Veronica walk off into the woods from the balcony and then turned around to my door that was partially open. I felt a tug on my s.h.i.+rt and jumped up holding out my fists then looked down at Lincoln.

"Jesus... You nearly gave me a heart attack.." I said, putting my hand over my chest. Lincoln covered his mouth to hide his laugh and I scooped him up to tickle him and his laugh echoed through the room. I put him down and we both walked out of the room considering Lia was on her way to see me. I took a few steps down the stairs and turned the corner, b.u.mping into Lia.

"Holy c.r.a.p I remembered you were taller than Clyde but d.a.m.n, I just ran into your stomach and I'm about to break my neck looking up at you."

"Well that's a little extra Lia." I said patting her on the head.

"Hey! Don't pat me on the head, that just makes me feel shorter."

"I know." I said and she glared then playfully slapped my arm. Aaron came up by my side and hugged Lia and they exchanged a few words then Lias face s.h.i.+fted as she went over to the front door.

"Anyways... This is my little sister Currin." She said and when her little sister walked through the door, she tossed her long soft curls over her shoulder, and strutted softly into the room. The second her eyes and Aarons connected, Aaron growled and grabbed Currin's waist pulling her towards him and her arms wrapped around his neck. Their lips connected in a long, pa.s.sionate kiss and Ophelia and I stood there frozen. When they finally pulled away to breath, neither Lia or I could form any words.

"I... I don't even know what to say right now." I said before Lincoln burst out laughing.

"Dad and Lia shook!" Lincoln yelled, proceeding to laugh and Claire came out and looked at the scene. She then walked to her brother and flicked him on the forehead.

"Claire! You don't do that." I said, separating the two.

"Well he's being a jacka.s.s!" She yelled in defense and my gaze snapped down to her.

".....You're not allowed to spend as much time with Becca as you do." I said and she flounced dramatically onto the floor pouting. I rolled my eyes and then made the two go outside.

"Wait you and Veronica had kids?! How old are they?" Lia asked and I told her. When I turned to Aaron and Currin, they were gone. Poof. Bah bye.

"Well... I'm going out for a walk. Would you like to join me?" I asked and she shook her head.

"No thank you.. I'm gonna wait for V to get home." she said before smiling and began to head up the stairs.

"Well alright then." I said before walking out of the pack house.

Ophelia's POV

I sat down on the bed and watched Veronica walk on.

"Get out your s.e.xiest dress mamas." I said walking towards her.

"Hm.. We might as well do some wake up face masks too..." I said while examining her face before pulling her into the rather large bathroom.

"And where you crying? Your eyes are super red."

"Eh... A little bit. But I'm also sleep deprived so.."

"Rip Veronica Snow."

"Mhm." She responded and we both started laughing.
