"Oh, s.h.i.+t! Wait here, don't move." The man said while realizing that Arwin's condition was getting even worse.
'Those s.h.i.+theads! Finally, when I found a perfect employee and would have gotten my bonus, they had to injure her to this extent! I don't know what she did to get thrown out like that, but I hope it will benefit us at least.' The man mumbled to himself as he placed Arwin down and made sure that she was sitting correctly and was leaning against a wall for support.
Then he started to run straight forward, and after a few hundred meters, he stopped and started to bang at the door hurriedly.
"Hey! Doc, are you there! Doc, it's an emergency case!" The man was shouting out, and the old fellow opened the door, looking at the man and said.
"It's frickin ten in the morning. I'm still sleeping, so this better be worth it as I don't see any patients now, only a nuisance in front of me." The older man said while yawning and seemingly angry.
"I'm sorry, doc. I left her there as she almost collapsed, and I don't think she could have survived the rest of the journey without injuring herself. She might be the one our company needs, and you know that if she is, then it's more bonuses for you to save her life. If I'm wrong, I will personally pay you extra then that you will get your money back." The man said, while looking at the doctor seriously.
"Timothy, you always know how to say the right things. Lead me to her. Oh! Wait a minute.
Mark, get here! We need someone to help with the carrying." The old doctor shouted out, and a lanky person came out from the house, who nodded at the doctor.
"Timothy lead the way to the patient." The doctor's eyes couldn't hide the greed for the extra bonus and money he would make.
"Hey, get the f.u.c.k out! She's our employee! Do you dare to cross paths with me?!" Timothy yelled out when he saw that four people were trying to rob Arwin.
"Oh? We saw her first! Back off! You won't scare us with that bulls.h.i.+t. She's our prey, and we own everything she has!" The leader of the group shouted out and took out his weapon.
"You know the laws even when it's a blunt weapon. If you use them here you will only get trouble when they find you out. Do you dare cross paths with the steamvile company? You sure have guts!" Timothy said while cracking his knuckles up.
"Mark, go help Timothy out, so we are done quicker with this." The doctor added, and Mark silent as ever just nodded to confirm and came to stand next to Timothy.
"Oh, that's bulls.h.i.+t! You are just trying to use that name to scare us away. As I said, back off! She's ours!" The leader said, and now the rest of the men also had drawn their wooden mallets, and held them threateningly.
"Mark, get the two from left. I get the two from the right." Timothy said, and Mark just nodded while sprinting towards the men.
They didn't even realize that Mark was suddenly holding needles in his hands.
Timothy cracked his knuckles one last time before attacking the nearest enemy from the right, straight on, without any tactics.
He punched the first guy straight to the jaw, before he kicked him on the crotch. This causes the man to howl and bend from the pain. Timothy used this opportunity to grab the opponent's head and bashed it against the nearby wall causing him to faint.
The leader who saw that his men left on the ground suddenly dropped his mallet and started to run away.
'Oh f.u.c.k! Oh f.u.c.k! Why did I have to cross paths with them why the f.u.c.k is my luck so bad?!' He was cursing at his mind while trying to get enough distance, and then head to the main road where he could disappear among the other people.
However, before he could flee, he suddenly collapsed, completely unaware that there was a needle at his neck.
"Mark, I hope you didn't kill them as we don't want our company to get more trouble than necessary," Timothy added while watching Mark's clean work with the needles. Timothy could not help but compare it to his somewhat barbaric method.
"Left unconscious only, and I think my work was cleaner. It won't add as many wounds as yours," Mark said while not saying anything after that, and Timothy couldn't get back at all as he knew Mark was right.
The doctor came and quickly studied Arwin's condition and said, "We will see her condition in a few days she might lose her hearing, sight, etc. She might also be lucky and be completely fine.
We can never know about the results after someone has injured their heads. Let's just carry her to my house. I will take care of the rest while you report to the company after that." The doctor stepped aside. He then let Mark and Timothy carry the unconscious Arwin to his house.
