Chairman Xia was enraged but unable to say something and was unable to refute that's why he chose to turn his back on his son, get out of the house and boarded his car followed by his a.s.sistant and left the place angrily.

Both Feng Qiang and Xia Wei just watched the Chairman's car away but Xia Wei isn't really watching the Chairman's car. He was thinking of what the chairman said earlier.

'Does he have something to do with what happened 7 years ago?' Xia Wei thought.

Feng Qiang was about to say something when Xia Wei suddenly walked outside the house and went directly to his car. Feng Qiang didn't expect Xia Wei to really get out of the house so soon so he quickly followed. Feng Qiang opened the back seat door for Xia Wei and after Xia Wei boarded the car, Feng Qiang closed the back seat door and went to the other side of the car and sat on the driver seat.

After boarding the car, there was a complete silence inside for a few minutes before Feng Qiang gather his courage up and asked his boss. "I've already moved your first meeting to an 11 am meeting, Boss. You still have 3 and a half hours before the meeting. Do you want me to drive you to the company now?"

"Go to ALF." Xia Wei instructed. Feng Qiang just nodded and started the car and drove off to ALF Corp.

Of course, Feng Qiang doesn't need to ask why he knows very well why Xia Wei chose to visit ALF right now. It was to finally meet their Future Lady Boss. But little did he know that Xia Wei intended to go to ALF, not because of Zhuang Yue but because he has some instructions for Luo Feng regarding Zhuang Yue's work.

I want to know if he has something to do with Yue'er leaving me and if he did something to her." Xia Wei calmly said. Though he was his usual self right now, one could really tell from the look in his eyes that he's going to punish anyone who tried to scheme against Zhuang Yue and him in the past.

"This subordinate understand, Boss." Feng Qiang replied.

"See if Chairman Xia also has something to do with the people who are hindering me from finding Yue'er in the past." Xia Wei added and Feng Qiang just nodded.

"I will make them pay." Xia Wei said coldly.

Yes. Whoever those people who are scheming against him and Zhuang Yue, he will make them pay. Those people who made her leave him and those people who are challenging his power. He will make them pay ten-fold.

'Grandfather, I hope you can forgive me but if father really has something to do with what happened in the past, I might do something that will hurt the family you love. You are the only one who treated me fairly and with care in the past, that's why I'm not doing anything to the Xia Family but when I find out that the Xia Family really did something wrong, forgive me for what I might do.' Xia Wei thought.

Of course, the only reason why Xia Wei remained in the Xia Family was that of his Grandfather who really loves him and cared for him. At first, the whole Xia Family was against his Grandfather's will but in the end, they have no choice but to accept the former Chairman Xia's will because Xia Wei proved that he is more than capable of running the company than any other member of the Xia Family.

But did they really accepted him? Of course not. They were just forced to accept the Former Chairman Xia's will because they need to or else the whole company and all of them will suffer. Of course, they won't accept a son of a mistress as the Chairman of the company that's why they made an agreement that although the former Chairman Xia gave most of his shares to Xia Wei, Xia Wei can't be the Chairman of the company that's why the current Chairman was Xia Wei's father, Xia Qing, the eldest son of the former Chairman Xia.

If it weren't for that agreement, Xia Wei was already the chairman of the company rather than his father. Of course, the whole Xia family was still against him even though he let his father took the t.i.tle of the Chairman he still have most of the shares. That's why the other members of the Xia Family were always looking for something that they could use against him. They used his image of being a womanizer to suppress him but they failed. Why? Because even though they have the help of the media to blow the news of him being a womanizer out of proportion that didn't make him fall down. In fact, he wasn't affected by it that time because he prefers for the people to know rather than be shocked when they found out. But even though the people believe that the CEO of the Xia Company is a womanizer, Xia Wei continue on leading the company to success to the point that the Xia Family, the people around him and the public only finds being a womanizer as his one and only fault.

But the Xia Family didn't give up the hope that they could win against Xia Wei. That's why they hired a new a.s.sistant for Xia Wei when they got the chance to. Since Xia Wei is fond of women, they hired a woman as his a.s.sistant but the a.s.sistant they hired looked so old-fas.h.i.+oned and a nerd. Yes, that old-fas.h.i.+oned and nerd looking a.s.sistant is Zhuang Yue.

The other members of the family were happy when they got the news that Xia Wei hates his new a.s.sistant because of its looks and the way the woman dressed. So they thought that at last, they could defeat Xia Wei using that little a.s.sistant but little did they know that although that a.s.sistant they hired is old-fas.h.i.+oned and nerd looking, she was capable of her work and was highly skilled. That's why even though Xia Wei truly hated her he can't summon himself to fire that a.s.sistant of him because she is capable and the only one who can keep up to him.

Days, weeks, months and even years pa.s.sed by and the other member of the Xia Family's plans didn't work that's why they lay low for a while, watch from the side of what will happen and planned their next step is to defeat Xia Wei and make him lose his position.
