Everything is dark, but strangely- not? It is a lot harder to explain than it should be. I guess I should say it is nothing, but also everything at the same time. It is a huge change from heat vision, which had a more red tint. This has a lack of tint, which will take some time to get used to, but it shouldn't be too bad in the meantime.
I can also innately feel some changes, mainly a more stuffed feel, but I can also sense a new organ-like thing, and a spherical lump as well. Is that a core? Magic exists?! Actually, with that d.a.m.n crab's shadow limb thingy it should've been obvious but still. I can use magic! Hopefully. I don't want to shoot myself in the foot here. It's safe to check my status first.

Just kidding xd. But on a more reflective note, I really did change way more than I thought I would. I mean, d.a.m.n, my entire species just went and flipped. Can I even eat soil anymore? I'll try it out later. I keep getting off-track. So I'm a void worm. I suppose that is why I can use magic now, or more specifically why much of my other changes occurred. At least, I'm pretty sure if I was still an earthworm I'd still have my heat-sensing domain.
Then there's the void gland. My best guess is that is what allows me to use void sense, and maybe other void related things as well. My first thought was that my core would be where my mp was used, but even right now I can feel something seeping from my new core and into my void gland so it's a moot point. That being said, I might be able to use the core for other magics since it is a pure one, though I'm not sure what's pure about it. Oh, and I hope that that 'something' is mana. If not, we got some serious problems going on here.
My stats have increased as well, though I was a.s.suming that was a given. My speed definitely got the biggest boost, going up by six, but all of my stats have at least increased. Can't say much about my will though. It didn't improve much at all. Not that I know its use yet, so it doesn't matter too terribly much, it's just a little annoying. Oh well, you get what you get.
Speaking of, I have a question dear Jeremy. I can get some of my skills regressing due to me losing my heat-sensing glands, but why the f.u.c.k did my skill points drop?!
And why didn't my life matter do the same?

Phew! Almost thought all was lost there. I would have thrown a fit if I had wasted all of my effort to kill that huge a.s.s centipede. That most definitely would've been a downer. Alright, well now that I'm down looking at myself for d.a.m.n near an hour it seems, it is time to get this show on the road. I'm awake and rearing to go! The only question is, where? Oh, there is also another important one.
