She just bought whatever she wanted, without even checking the price. This is one of her dreams in her past life and she can't believe that she has to die and get reincarnated in someone else's body before that dream could become a reality.
Today, she has probably spent more than a year's worth of her past life's income and it didn't even hurt her bank account. Happily, she went out the mall's doors with a huge smile on her lips.
Only to immediately get dismayed when she unexpectedly over heard two women, wearing the mall's designated uniform for sale representative, gossiping about none other than her.
"She's arrogantly pacing around the mall, as if she owns it. I'm not even surprise her husband didn't attend their wedding reception and instead spent the night with his mistress. hahaha" one of the woman said and as if a bird chirping, the woman with her immediately nods her head in approval.
"She isn't even that beautiful. I bet once she removes all her make-up she would look ordinary. All she really have going on for her is her money." the other woman said. They were having so much fun talking behind Samantha's back that they didn't noticed that the topic of their conversation is standing behind them and listening to every word they say.
"I heard she's a terrible person who has cause someone to get fired on their jobs too." Samantha playfully chimes in. The two women nods their head in approval as they check who's the woman who wanted to join their conversation.
When they saw the owner of the voice, their eyes literally almost popped off. They immediately tried to make themselves looks presentable and then bowed their head in shame.
"M-mrs. Quan, we didn't k-know that you we're here." One of them nervously said, their hands shaking in fear.
"Why are you shaking? Hahaha, I don't eat humans, you know?" Samantha cheerfully replied.
"W-we're sorry" they said in unison. Their heart pounding faster than it ever did, especially when they saw the store's manager rus.h.i.+ng to where they were, obviously knowing what they did.
"Hahaha, it's ok. What you two said is true anyways. I'am arrogant and my husband did left me and didn't attend our wedding reception for his mistress, I'am also rich who only have my money to show off right now. That's all true. There's just one thing that you are wrong though. Girls, I'am gorgeous. Really, really gorgeous." Samantha confidently said before she pressed the key of her expensive ride, that created a loud noise in the parking lot.
Then, she smiled to the two women once again before she turns to go to where her car is situated.
When the mall's manager saw that Samantha is leaving, she immediately runs towards her to apologize for the mall's employee's behavior.
"Mrs. Quan, we're really sorry. I would make sure that those two would get the punishment that they deserve. Please don't think of our mall negatively." The manager nervously said, making Samantha remember the amount of influence the real Samantha has.
She totally forget because Jonathan treats her like s.h.i.+t, but Samantha's influence is no joke. If she said that a place is bad, then that place better pack their bags because bankruptcy is their next route. Her influence is also one of the things she used to ruin Yasmin's reputation. She dragged Yasmin's name to the deepest dirt, that made the people judge her wherever she goes.
But when all the truth was revealed to the public, everyone turned their back against her. Even those who she thought was her friend, completely erased her from their life.
Samantha s.h.i.+vers as she recalls the events in the novel.
"It's really alright. Just tell them not to do it again. People go here to have fun, it really isn't nice to hear some people who didn't know you personally, talk s.h.i.+t behind your back." Samantha said. Her voice filled with understanding.
"Yes, Mrs. Quan" the manager cautiously said. Hearing the name being a.s.sociated with her once again, made Samantha's head hurts.
"Please, just call me Samantha" she grumbled before going inside her car.
Then, Samantha left and start her journey home.
