I'm Really A Kpop Idol 34 "The Show" Part 2

After waiting for 45 minutes, the group stepped down and the director took a 5-minute break. Then, a while later, as the staff informed them that they can go up, the UNLIMITED group stepped on to the stage and introduced themselves like before in a unique style. Just a Korean military salute, they performed one second, two-finger salute as Jun spoke, "Break the limits" and then bowed and everyone spoke, "h.e.l.lo, we are UNLIMITED."

The director smiled and showed a thumbs-up gesture after cutting the scene, "good, it's perfect. Now, everyone in the formation, 10 seconds after that, the music plays." Three and half minutes later, as the performance ended, the music show director said, "Again. All of you went out of sync for a second, two times. Take two minutes break, control your breath, and perform again."

It took almost 50 minutes for the Unlimited's pre-recorded performance to be completed. They had to perform the same song and dance 10 times in a row with a minute rest in between each performance to get a perfect one.

Unlike their debut, since the group took a break and was a bit relaxed, Dohyun, HaeSeong, and Minho kept on making little mistakes, which were actually negligible since the viewers, who were watching the television won't spot it out much but the Director wants it to be perfect since they took money to promote them. So, each Idol group had to perform until he was satisfied with it.

After the shooting his over, everyone went out and had their lunch. Then, they returned to the studio at 7:00 in the evening, to perform live as the audience also begin to take their seats. Although the show was being recorded live, the performances which will be broadcast to the audiences from their SBS Prism tower are the pre-recorded ones.

Meanwhile, the live performance will be judged by the experts, who are watching from the jury panel and live vote done by the audience sitting before them. To explain how everything works, first of all, the staff of the program will collect all the data from the previous week of the artists, i.e. 15th Sep, 6 P.M. to 22nd Sep, 6 P.M.

Now, there is a total score of 10,000 in the show, which was divided into 6 categories.

The first one is the Physical sales score, which is 10% of the total score, i.e. 1000.

The second one is the Digital sales score, which is 40% of the total score, i.e. 4000.

The third one is Video score, which is 20% of the total score, i.e. 2000.

The fourth one is the Expert score, which is 15% of the total score, i.e. 1500.

The fifth one is the Pre-Vote score, which is 5% of the total score, i.e. 500.

The sixth one is the Live-Vote score, which is 10% of the total score, i.e. 1000.

The staff of the music show will be responsible to collect all the data on Physical sales and Digital sales and then, Video, which refers to the number of views on YouTube in that period of one week and they will only take the song, which the idols performed on the stage, into consideration.

And as for how it is calculated, it was pretty much simple. The 20 groups, which were appearing on "The Show" will be compared in each category and the one with the highest number in each category gets the maximum score while the rest will receive zero. In the end, each of their scores will be calculated by adding all the scores and the one with the highest score will be announced as the winner.

At 8 P.M. KST, the show started and Ryu Munhee of Y2B and Lee Subin of 2NS acted as MCs. Both Y2B of Signature and 2NS of StarMoon was one of the popular idol groups in the current trend. As they were introducing each one, the idol groups began to perform live while the people before the television are seeing their pre-recorded performance.

And the 15 judges in the jury panel began to score them after looking at their performance while the remaining idols, who were ready with their outfits and waiting for their turn while looking at their performance in the large monitor that was attached to the wall in the waiting hall. By the time, Unlimited was called, the maximum points the experts gave was 142, which was a high score indeed.

As the staff informed Hyesun, she called then and they stood up, attracting everyone's attention, especially Jun with his temporary 9 points of appearance because of the makeup, hairstyle, and outfit. They made their way towards the backstage amidst everyone's gazes. Five minutes later, as their turn came up, Jun looked at everyone, "let's do this... fighting..." before they step on to the stage.

After introducing themselves, the music began to play and they started performing "Energetic."

The judges in the jury panel nodded with a smile and began to score while the audience sitting there began to live vote with their remote. Although for unknown reasons, it has several b.u.t.tons, they only have to press the red b.u.t.ton if they like it and don't press it if they don't want to vote or didn't find the performance that great.

As the judges in the jury panel gave their scores, a smile appeared on Jun and the rest and they bowed, "thank you." Meanwhile, the idols, who watched their performance either began to worry or amazed as the score was given as 148. Out of the 15 judges, 13 of them gave 10 and the remaining 2 gave the score 9, which makes them the highest until now.

While the idols were having a discussion about the Unlimited idol group after seeing their performance, Jun and the rest of the four stepped down from the stage. Hyesun patted their backs, "good job, everyone. Don't worry about that missing score of 2. They almost never give it to rookies, anyway."

After the rest of the performances are ended, the two MCs, Ryu Munhee of Y2B and Lee Subin of 2NS, stepped on to the stage and Subin spoke, "now, that was all wonderful performances this week. Now, what do you think Munhee sunbae?" Munhee replied, "yeah, everyone did great, although I should say the three groups I mentioned earlier, exceeded my expectation today. Anyway, we'll leave it for later. Now, let's see the rankings in each category. First, Physical sales."

As the rankings appeared, Jun and the rest of the four smiled looking at the number 1 rank. After them, number 2 is singer On Solmi, stage names as OS. Then, after that, Digital sales appeared, and as everyone expected, Unlimited was once again in first place and second place is once again OS, whose comeback single was a superhit.

The third category was Video, which no one had a doubt that Unlimited will win it since they knew how many views their song has. The fourth Expert one was also won by them but the last two, Pre-Voting and Live voting was won by OS, as Jun expected since he knew she had established fanbase and more popularity. Subin then announced with a smile, "with a score of 8500, this week's "The Show's" winner is UNLIMITED.

While the rest of the idols in the waiting hall clapped, Jun and others bowed with a smile before walking towards the stage to thank the audience for supporting them and of course, to show their faces to the public once again.
