Love Unfolding 76 So Cunning

I'm sleeping over at Andy's apartment as we have agreed to study together till late night when I was kind of bothered of her s.p.a.cing out often.

We sat opposite each other on a table in her bedroom.

I was sneaking glimpses of her above my books, I could really tell something's bothering her.

"What's wrong Love?" I worriedly asked.

She snapped and looked at me with distant eyes then smiled wryly.

"Nothing Love."

I narrowed my eyes but decided to let it go. I let it slide for now and I went back to my studying.

She then put her palm to support her face with her elbow on the table and smiled at me annoyingly.

More so; looking intently at me with that grin in her face.

At first, I wasn't giving it attention, I would just peek a glimpse at her then back to my book, then back at her, then to my book until I can't take it anymore.

She's looking at me lovingly with a playful face.

I shot her a stern look.

"Stop it."

"I'm going to melt."

The idiot didn't budge so I knit my brows.

"Quit staring at me already." I repeated sounding annoyed.

She just smiled without taking her eyes off me.

Well, I wasn't joking when I said I'm gonna melt. I will if she won't stop.

"I was thinking Love-," she paused.

"I was thinking, how a girl like you end up with a girl like me."

'd.a.m.n'

That wasn't a question.

I laid down the book I was holding and just stared back at her.

In that moment, it's as though someone was tickling my side and I was suppressing a smile as I don't want to give in to that.

"I'm enjoying myself just being with you around." She continued.

"I grow happier with every moment spent by your side."

'f.u.c.k'

'What is this Andy?'

She chuckles, still not taking her eyes off me.

"Though, when I'm with you, hours felt like seconds."

"I love you Erika."

'Gosh'

I was speechless.

I could only bit my lower lip as my eyes swell.

I was so d.a.m.n happy that there's no anymore room for more b.u.t.terflies.

She always amazes me.

'd.a.m.n Andy'

"I love you Erika." She repeated.

I still didn't say a word. I think I swallowed my tongue down my throat.

'Silly me'

Then her face lit up and a more silly grin plastered in it.

"I promise to always be by your side…" she again continued.

"Or… or under you?"

"Or… on top?"

'The f.u.c.k'

I sensed a hint of mockery there.

'It's going quiet smooth already why ruin it?'

'So cunning'

I tilted my head, gritted my teeth and gave her a piercing look. I also want to crumple that grin in her face.

"I want to lay in bed with you Erika."

'd.a.m.n'

My jaw dropped. She said it with a straight face.

'Seriously?'

A newbie like her; a virgin.

Does she know the weight of her words?

I forced a smile; my lips trembling.

"A... Are you sure about this?" I asked stammering.

"Aren't we going too fast?"

Then there added one on the lists of my shameful experiences in life that I had long the ground to swallow me up.

Andy changed her expression from how cunning she was awhile ago to the most innocent one in a flip of a coin.

"Huh?"

"But it's almost midnight Love."

"Aren't we going to sleep?"

'What?'

I really felt like a lightning just hit me.

'Did I heard her wrong?'

But seeing Andy's face, despite the innocence she's feigning, I could still see the grin in it.

'She's toying with me'

My jaw were trembling in anger and I threw all the books and notes at her face in which she just laughed at.

I could already feel the boiling of my blood.

"Were you just thinking of some naughty things, did you?" She asked while laughing really hard.

I just rolled my eyes and turned my back at her and I was surprised that she hugged me from behind right there.

She rested her chin at the crook of my neck; held me so tight that I can't retaliate.

"I'm just talking about laying next to you Love." She uttered almost a whisper; gentle, serious.

The warm of her breath sent tingles all through me.

"I want your body pressed against mine."

"With our fingers intertwined."

"Feeling your heartbeat as you soundly sleep in my arms."

"That's all I want."

"I love you Love."
