He walks into a bar, went straight to the counter, and ordered himself a cup of hard liquor. He wants to get drunk tonight. He wants to get wasted tonight. He wants freedom tonight! How long has he been waiting for tonight? He doesn't know. All he can remember is the day he felt a hard chest pain and then went to the doctor. Then the doctor brings him a nightmare. A real nightmare that is, he feels like the world has abundant him. Even the real Levi gave up on him; there is no hope, he is a dead man walking.
Fortunately, G.o.d has not forgotten him. In fact, G.o.d's servant had just helped him last night, gave him the heart of candle. His heart has not been so relaxed for so long, he has not been being himself for so long; and tonight is the night he can forget about the pain, forget about the death, forget about everything that bothers him, and party until the end of the world.
Levi picks up his drink and chucks it up. " Tonight is going to be a great night!" Levi said.
His fun has begun! He got up the counter and invites every girl he sees in the bar and buys them drinks as an excuse to have a chance to get with those women. Then he would spit his usual game, telling stories to hypnotize the ladies. That night he went home with 3 different women.
The next morning Levi wakes up, seeing Darwin is sitting on the chair in front of him.
"Good morning, Levi!" Darwin smiles.
"Why are you here? Why are you in my room!" Levi couldn't resist screaming at him.
"Your room!" Darwin smiles even more, "Looks like you have fun last night."
"That's none of your business!" Levi said.
"Okay! Just wanted to make sure my costumer is satisfied with my service." Darwin still has the smile on his face. After Darwin said that, he disappeared.
"Remeber! Do not fall in love! It is dangerous!" Darwin's last word.
"Crazy!" Levi then proceeds to work.
After work, Levi didn't go to the bar like he usually does because he knows that even though he has a heart of candle. His body is still human flesh. He will still hurt himself with constant s.e.x. Tonight Levi wants to go home and enjoy himself. He wants to have a little bit of wine and put on a fun movie to watch. Levi drives straight home after work and then go take a shower before his own happy hour. Just when Levi get out of the shower and walks to the kitchen for the wine, he pa.s.ses the kitchen counter and notices a note on the counter, it is the note from a few nights ago by Mary, the American he met in the bar. The only woman he did not get physical with. So an idea started in his mind, he has never tried any beautiful but self-respected lady before, and plus he rejected her before. Moreover, Levi always wanted to try to beat his own limit.
Levi picks up the phone and dials the number. "Ring! Ring! Ring!" the phone rings.
"h.e.l.lo?" a female voice rings.
"Hi! It's me! Levi, do you still remember me?" Levi starts up the conversation.
"Oh, Gee! Is this really you! I'm glad you called me! I DO! I DO!" the voice rings again.
"That great! So how are you? How was your work going? I remember you are here for some business. Am I bothering you right now?" Levi asks a few questions.
"I'm fine, thank you! My work is doing fantastic! No, No, No, It is not bothering me at all, I'm free to my self." the woman said, "In fact, I only have about 2 days left to go back to America."
Levi went on and say, " I am terribly sorry about last time. Leaving you alone, letting you go home by yourself.
"I'm fine. If I am mad at you I would of hang up the phone by now! Don't worry about it!" Mary said.
Levi did not mean to apologize to Mary. The only reason he would say those words is he wants to give Mary a great impression.
" As an apology, I want to treat you to dinner or something," Levi said.
" Sure! That sounds cool!" Mary replies.
"Thank G.o.d! I was so afraid that you would not agree to go to the dinner with me for me to make it up to you!" Levi continues, "What did you do on that night anyway?"
"Oh! It is a funny story! That night I was kind of drunk and out of my mind because I was not in the mood, so I decided to watch a movie, but I don't know any good movie; so I picked the worst movie ever. Halfway through the movie, I fall asleep! In the movie theater! I wake my self up in the morning when people starting to coming in. " Mary laughs.
"What! That's insane! I should try that sometime; spend the whole night in the movie theater! That is so much fun!" Levi also laughs.
In some movie theater in France.
"The movie begins, this movie is about love, but the little does the guy character know. Love is a poison that will kill him. The end!" Darwin said to himself quietly.
"Is love worth dying? Levi." Darwin closes his eye.
Love is what makes a person alive. Love from a friend, love from family, love from a total stranger. Love brings two stranger together and becomes friends, then become a family, then becomes each other's worse enemy.
