Radley was luckily quick enough to intercept the attack as it crashed into his s.h.i.+eld. He followed this up with an axe to the man's knee, which made him buckle. Then he kneed him in the face. Rita followed up with two shots to his face, which didn't do a lot of damage but it still hurt. Elita got in behind him and used her ability as a flurry of attacks connected onto his back, but his armor was too thick. Radley had to use his ability and crashed down into the man's chest. The energy from the attack crushed his heart. 12500 Invo Points, 5 Diff points.

This wasn't going as planned. He wanted the girls to land the finis.h.i.+ng blow, but their attacks were just too weak. Radley used his speed ability to crash two, level threes into the ground he picked them up and shoved them towards A level seven was on his way towards them. s.h.i.+t, he had no real way of fighting a level seven. Blobby was supporting with his long-range attacks in the back. Supporting random people, but Radley needed him here now, "BLOBBY, I NEED YOU, BUDDY!"

Blobby immediately broke off from what he was doing and charged towards Radley's side. The man fought with dual swords, "Girls, I need you to protect me and Blobby while I try and handle this!"

The level seven eyed Radley closely. He saw Radley take down two level five, which meant he needed to be careful, the man seemed strong. Radley was well aware that he was pus.h.i.+ng the envelope with this one. The man charged Radley down and crashed into his s.h.i.+eld, it was so powerful that numbed Radley's arm. Guess the s.h.i.+eld could only help so much. Blobby shot a few potshots towards the man and hit him in the face. It only angered him. Radley used his ability but the man easily evaded and got a clean cut off, slas.h.i.+ng Radley deeply in the face he used his other blade and stabbed deeply into his shoulder. This brought Radley's health down to thirty-three percent. Radley threw away his s.h.i.+eld and used Camouflage. He slowly crept up behind him and used his ability to smash into him. The attack was devastating, but not nearly enough to kill him. The man faltered as Radley followed up with three more strikes. The first two struck home but the third missed as Radley got stabbed in the stomach. It brought his health down to two percent. Radley crashed to the floor. His impeccable reaction could only do so much as Blobby came rus.h.i.+ng to his side. The man sidestepped got two stabs in and four slashes. Blobby was able to bite the man before going down. Radley was too weak to get up and now Blobby was down. The two girls came rus.h.i.+ng to his side. Radley knew they would be dead before they could reach him. Radley decided to go all out. He used his speed and charged the man down but the man just sidestepped and came cras.h.i.+ng down onto him. Radley reacted but his body wasn't doing too well as the blade connected.

The girls stared in horror as the blades came cras.h.i.+ng down…but it stopped. A popup appeared. New ability learned by the user. Fortress Wall. The user can mitigate the damage of one attack at a given moment.

It took the man by surprise as Radley swung a full-powered axe towards his head. The poison by Blobby and the damage received by Radley's hand caused too much damage as Radley's attack hit him below the chin. The force of the attack snapped his neck backward, breaking it. The man fell backward as Radley followed up with an attack to his head, killing him. A popup came up 117 000 Info points gained, 20 Diff points earned. Achievement achieved: The Impossible Odds: Fight an Enemy that is more than three levels stronger from beginning to end. 7000x4=28 000 Invo points. Zero diff point. The searing pain hits him out of nowhere but he was all smiling. His a level four now, and yesterday he was a level three. h.e.l.l Yeah!

Both Rita and Elita came to his aid. Rita was crying, "I am so glad you are alive."

Elita complained, "Could you stop scaring us like that?"

The other people who saw the fight decided to retreat. Thanks to the level up, Blobby pulled through even though he was fatally wounded. Radley quickly stood up and ran to his side, relieved to find him whole and hale. The scene astonished both Rita and Elita, "How is this possible!?"

Radley shrugged, "Can't really say. I believe it is some form of imprinting, as a result, he level's up when I level up. That is why I said, he is a boy."

Both replied in unison, "Girl."

Radley stood up, "Well, the fight has been won on our side. Let's go see if the front is the same."

Unfortunately, Radley was stopped by a random girl, "Uuhm, sorry sir, but we need someone to take charge here?"

"Sir? Who are you talking to?"

"You sir, are you not the Magistrate's right-hand man."

"That is a major no."

Elita poked him in the ribs, "Radley they are looking for a leader. We are just a bunch of low levels here, and you were the one that stepped up when there was a need."

Radley sighed deeply, "Fine. It feels weird, but whatever."

He barked orders out left and right to secure the wounded and put guards in place, and gather all the dead at one location for proper burial later on. There were still people higher level than him but they respected him none the less. Radley had just become a respected figure.

Elita and Rita helped out wherever they could. There was a grand detonation behind them. This sent Radley into a tizzy who wanted to go help but was stopped by one of the higher levels. A level six to be precise, "Who stop, man. We need you here. Going out there would be suicidal."

"I need to be out there. We can't lose this."

"Don't worry, Adrian has it covered. You need some faith man."

Radley sighed and nodded, "Yeah. I just really need this to go through."

The reasons were personal. He had a quest he preferred not to fail.
