"Shouldn't you apologize to me, before anything else?", Qian Yu exasperatedly told her cold-hearted sister. "With your martial arts, I'm pretty sure you knew that the person who entered your room was me."

Lou Yi indifferently glanced at her before responding. "Oh, do you have the time to waste with such trivialities right now? Let's get down to business if you want to return to your husband's bed without him noticing your absence."

"We are not sleeping together so he wouldn't know.", Qian Yu chuckled.

"Oh really?", Lou Yi blatantly raised an eyebrow at her. "But you've slept together? Like, consummated the marriage?"

"W-wh? Okay, let's stop the chitchat and get down to business.", Qian Yu was flabbergasted.

"You've come here after a bath and your movements were stiff earlier.", Lou Yi stated, seemingly not wanting to let the topic go. "Is there any other reason aside from the two of you having s.e.x?"

Qian Yu felt a bit embarra.s.sed but she threw the thought out the window immediately. "What's wrong with that? He is my husband."

"Of course, there's nothing wrong.", Lou Yi nodded with sarcasm. "Giving yourself to a man you've only known for a few hours - yeah, there's nothing wrong with that."

"Again, he is my husband."

"Who was it again who said that this arranged marriage is not her thing?"

"He will be the one I'll be spending the rest of my life with.", Qian Yu exasperatedly replied.

Lou Yi laughed out loud. "If he doesn't judge you as a traitor or doesn't favor the concubine over the wife, then perhaps you may be able to attain happiness with him."

"Anyway, I didn't come here to bicker with you.", Qian Yu tried to change the topic again after heaving a long sigh. "I came here to tell you that we can proceed with Plan B."

Their Plan A had already been ruined because of their father's demise. Thus, they needed to rethink of their plans from scratch to fit with their current situation.

Knowing that their conversation is getting serious, Lou Yi also didn't pursue the topic of Qian Yu's first wedding night. "If that's the case, then I'll prepare myself and brief Rou Xi. You know what to do right?"

"Yeah," Qian Yu nodded. "This time, I must get my hands on the general's Tiger Seal."

"It's good that you haven't forgotten your purpose.", Lou Yi approvingly gazed at her. "If we fail again this time, the consequences will be dire not only for the three of us but also for the people of this world."

"I won't let that happen."

The two sisters exchanged information for a while before Qian Yu decided to leave. She walked toward the window but turned around before leaping out. "When will the Yu Xiang headquarters complete its move to the Xin kingdom?"

"Why are you asking?"

"I need some people to help me pa.s.s notes to you.", Qian Yu explained. "I can't always go out at night just to meet up with you, after all."

"I'll make the necessary arrangements."

Qian Yu nodded before she turned around and leaped out. In the blink of an eye, Qian Yu's figure disappeared yet Lou Yi's eyes remained looking out the window.
