Crying softly a small girl walked down the hallway as she rubbed her eyes hard trying to force the tears from falling. As she cried softly she looked around the large white marble hallway, her body shaking slightly from having to be in that strange place. As she hugged her stuffed toy rabbit close her chest her eyes swelled with tears once again at the thought of her mother. She wished her mother was here with her now, she wished that she, herself was home.

As soon as her mother's health had taken a fall she was taken to the hospital while her father had the main butler taken her to this place.

The maids here tried to comfort the young scared child but she remained scared in her room for days while the old man who said to know her mother tried his best to comfort the child. It was clear to them soon that the child was still scared having seen her mother collapse in front of her with coughs of blood. The child still had no clue as to how her mother was or who these people were.

The old master of the house was afraid they would frighten the child more so he asked the rest of the servants to keep a distance away and leave the child alone.

The small girl stayed in her room for almost two weeks before the child finally decided to come out of her room in order to look for a way out. She wanted to see her mother, she was scared.

Sobbing the small girl looked around the hall lost and frightened before a faintly familiar sound caught her attention. With wide eyes, her body grew still as the gentle beautiful sounds of a violin were heard further down the hall. The sound so beautiful and filled with so many emotions hidden in the melody seemed to sink into her own soul. Comforting her in such a familiar sensation as if she were in her mother's safe warm arms. The soul of the song it's felt like her own sweet gentle mother, closing her eyes she could even smell the sweet lily fragrance of her mother.

Opening her eyes she found herself walking down the hall before she came across a slightly opened white door. Peaking her eye through the crack she could only make out the fluttering of the white curtains on an open window as a stack of white sheets of paper began lifting slightly with the breeze.

"Where did the young miss go off too?" A female voice questioned in the distance as two maids frantically looked down the halls for the young miss who was missing from her room. They were afraid she might be lost somewhere or having gotten hurt somehow.

With wide eyes, the young girl suddenly felt scared to get caught. Without a moment of thought, she rushed into the room with the familiar sound of the violin before firmly closing the door behind her. In that instance, the violin stopped as the musician took notice of her sudden disturbance.

"Who's there?" A young male voice asked making the girl's eyes widen in alarm realizing what she had done. The moment the young girl turned towards the owner of the voice a stronger breeze was sent in through the open window causing the stack of papers to fly out in the air before fluttering down to the ground around them like leaves. As the last papers fill the young girl was able to take notice of the other person's appearance.

Across the room, a young boy a year older sat up on the large bed that only made him seem smaller. His simmering platinum blonde hair made his beautiful blue eyes stand out even more as he sat there gazing at the child in front of him with calculating eyes that made him seem many years older

"A girl?".

Gazing at her he took notice of her frightened appearance before allowing a small smile to apearce on his stone face.

"Are you lost? You must be the girl the old man took in." He said muttering the last part to himself while mentioning the old man who was his grandfather.

"I'm sorry." The young girl shuttered before her eyes moved to the ground-hugging her stuffed toy closer.

"Why did you come in here? The old man must have not told you not to come to this wing." He asked with slight annoyance to his grandfather who probably thought this was a good opportunity for him to make a friend. A friend he didn't need or want.

"The violin, it reminded me of my mother." The young girl spoke softly bitting her lips as she felt tears once again fill her eyes. Feeling pity for the young girl he gazed down at the black violin placed on his lap before letting out a sigh.

"How annoying, I hate when girls cry." He muttered to himself before positioning the violin back in place as another melody filled the s.p.a.ce around them. Similar to the last it was just as beautiful but more cheerful making the image of the young girl standing under the sun in a field of flowers fill her mind. By the end of it, the boy opened his eyes surprised when he turned at the young girl was now kneeling on the bedside with her small head poking up. Her eyes filled with awe as she stared up at him before her eyes widen when he reached out to rub away the streaks of tears on her cheek.

With a gasp, her eyes caught sight of the Iv connected at his wrist. Her eyes now filled with alarm as she stared up at him.

"Are you sick too? Mama was sick too, she started coughing blood and they took her away. Are they going to take you away too?" The young girl asked as her body began shaking, her eyes filling with tears once again. This time filling with tears for the violin boy in front of her.

His own eyes widen in surprise at her tears she was crying for him. At the sight of them, he felt his heart warm with a strange emotion before he let out a smile reaching out to caress the top of her head.

"No, they won't take me away. I'll stay here with you."

"You promise?"

"Mn, I promise. My life is yours now."
