It was sort of odd if you ask me. Someone from the auction had travel six hundred mils to this remote post.
Standing in front of the building made me s.h.i.+ver. The building was a giant mouse trap. The wooden building was sloping to one side. The outer walls were just a layer of wooden planks nailed to some beams and wind and rain could come through. The most pawing part was the spells on the floor was the most b.l.o.o.d.y I've seen and I've live to over two thousand years.
At the entrance was a wooden board, with
"Bid thee in and trade fairly,
Hide and steal will die badly,
Lie thee and buy vainly"
written on it.
It was a spell. A badly craft one but a working one. It wasn't that powerful as long as I didn't active the formation.
I pushed open the door and went in. There were ten people or so gathered drinking, playing cards.
Seeing the two entering, a man with a bushy beard stood up and asked, "What are you here for, lady?"
"h.e.l.lo I like to make a trade."
The room was filled with small oddities. From bones to potions. The item I wanted was on the counter and looked as if it had just arrived. I was in time to grab the crossbow. It had been craft by a witch made of silver and holy water over a period of twenty four years. It was the perfect item to kill vampires. They'd turn to dust and there was no messy clean up. Idea for the coming battles.
Diana had described it well. It was small only about six inches long and with an width of four inches. It was design to look like a small silver bird with its wings outstretched, it was hung on a long chain.
Then I turn to see the other part. It was a pair of love birds.
"Like them lady?" ask the man waving the smaller silver bird at me,
"They look great for my mate." I said with eased," We'd match."
They all nodded,
People with mates were like that always thing of their mates. It was excessive but it was the way we were made.
