The 70th Awakened 14 The Allen And The Wolf Clash

MeLing was holding on for dear life, as the car spun slightly out of control going downwards. She was relatively annoyed by Allen's action.

This damage would be going on her tab, b.a.s.t.a.r.d.

The car starts veering off-course by a bot and slams into a wall, knocking Mea's breath out a bit. She relaxes for a bit, while trying to get out.

As she tries opening the door, an off-yellow colour blasts past her hand barely missing her.

He remembers Allen's warning, run as soon as she lands. Dammit, he called it. She wanted to make the most of it, but she was already pinned.

More shots burst right through the car as one shot nicks her on the left side of her hip. She starts cursing pretty badly as she tries to lower herself even more.

The glove compartment! There is an emergency medical kit in there. Though the cut wasn't that bad it was still going to hinder her. She quickly grabs for the glove compartment a wrestles out the medical aid kit.

She also knew she couldn't stay there. She quickly examines the contents as shots keep flying above her. Three vails of nano sealant (a silvery like substance that is actually a bunch of nano-bots to seal wounds) some gloves and sterile gauss. Three vails of Medi-gel (A red semi- transparent gel that is used in conjunction with nano-sealant. It aids in recovery as well as coagulating the blood quicker. Gotta think, gotta think. The obvious thing first was to treat her own wounds. She started to feel an odd sensation on her back.

Mea started to form an idea, if she can uses the engine, at least as a distraction for long enough it might work.

She uses dark-matter reinforcement and starts ripping at the car like an animal. She rips out the engine and throws it at the a.s.sailants.

A distorted voice shouts out, "Stop you fools. If you hit the engine it would detonate and take us all with it."

MeLing quickly looks at the a.s.sailants. There was about 7 of them, but only one was using some sort of blaster. She couldn't make out their faces though, something was distorting even their faces.

She doesn't hesitate as she sees them hesitate, and makes a break for it.

She thought she was home free and out of the jamming area, but it was not to be.

A shot tears through her leg, as the a.s.sailant with the blaster speaks up, "Oh you think it was gonna be that easy."

The entire group laughs. She grits her teeth as she quickly splashes on the nano-sealant and gel. She didn't bother with the antiseptic. She needed to get away fast.

The blaster guys straight up punches her in the back as she tries to stand up. She crashes into the ground face first.

She busts her lips, brow and nose. Blood welled up from in her as she spit it out. The punch to her back must have done some internal damage.

The a.s.sailant laughs maniacally, "Oh, we are gonna have so much fun with you."

He plucks out a plasma sabre and jams it into her other leg that was still fine.

He grabbed her in a choke hold and ma.s.sages her breast with the free hand, "We were told to mess you up. That means we are going to **** you over and over again. After that we are going to gut you so that all your organs comes displaying themselves to the world, then you will be beheaded. Your head will make a fine display piece for the world to see."

He rips out the knife with the intention of using it on her clothes, but a shot sounded of in the area

One of the a.s.sailants got shot in the head, but it was nothing more than a scratch.

They all looked around agitatedly to find the source.

A lone tall, familiar man was pointing a gun-like blaster at them. It was Lucas the android detective, "It's a good thing I was tracking you all this time miss MeLing.' He was smiling subtly.

Hundreds of drones suddenly appeared behind Lucas, with one final command he says, "Save miss MeLing, give the rest h.e.l.l."

Thousands of bullets rained down on the a.s.sailant, but due to a barrier around the construction site they could do nothing more than just hurt them slightly.

They all ran for cover to avoid the annoying beestings, but they weren't taking it laying down.

They started pelting them back with charged elemental b.a.l.l.s, making quick work of the ma.s.sive drone squad.

Even Lucas was badly hurt in the barrage, but he did not give up and kept firing his blaster at them.

MeLing used this opportunity to make a break for the exit only to run straight into a barrier, "No, no, no, NO!" If she couldn't run, she needed hide, but this barrier enveloped the entire area. There were only so many areas one can hide with in this particular site.

The gunfire noise started to settle down, if she had to go down she would go down swinging

MeLing turned around and got ready for a fight.

The lead man started to clap his hands slowly, "Bravo, even got the police involved. Thought we had our tracks covered, and now the dumb broad wants to fight. Hi-lri-ous."

The group gets together and suddenly, an unexpected explosion sending out shockwaves and debris in all directions, erupts.

The seven a.s.sa.s.sins were all knocked out, as Allen stood in the centre of a crater with a man under his foot.

He looks at MeLing's condition, and just shakes his head, "Tsk, tsk, tsk. I did tell you to run didn't I?"

She fell to the ground, exhausted. She couldn't help but smile broadly at Allen, "You're late."

Allen shrugged, picking up the man by his hair, "This guy is pretty tenacious."

Earlier on where Allen and the man was.

Allen stared at the man with the most unsettlingly, calm smile, "So what's the big bad wolf's name?"

The man smiled back with his own intimidation style, "You can call me Conner, and I take it you are Allen?"

Allen raised his hands into the air, "Whoop, whoop. My reputation proceedith me. Now are we done with these frivolities? Who sent you?"

Conner shrugged, "Who knows? The girl is just a job after all."

Allen nodded expectedly, and dashed forward towards him with at full speed.

Conner just smiled, "To be naive and young."

Allen deployed a bunch of half cylinders on his back which explodes with ma.s.sively compressed air, propelled him forward at mind numbing speed

This took Conner by surprise. Conner had a scrawny built, but his face was hidden beneath some sort of camouflage, distorting his face. He also wore a hoodie to cover the colour of his hair, though made no attempt to hide his voice, which sounded a bit gruff like an older man.

Conner was taken by surprise at the sudden increase of speed and deployed a null s.h.i.+eld to block the incoming attack.

Allen formed some cylinders over his fists and proceeds to attack. The attack, a simple forward strike, completely shatters the null s.h.i.+eld and proceeds forwards towards Conner's face. The attack sends Conner flying through a support or two.

Allen noticed the destroyed columns, "Gotta check were I send him flying"

Conner stands up from some debris, wiping his face which had a little bit of blood coming from his nose and mouth.

Conner was still paranoid about a possible third party involvement, "Who was the third party that saved your a.s.ses last?"

Allen scratches his head, "Third party? What are you on about?"

"Your death could be slow or it could be quick, your choice."

Allen just smiles derisively, "I choose option three. Neither of the above."

He charges forward again, but this time Conner wasn't having any of it. He dodge the attack and follows through with a right straight jab. Allen ducks beneath the jab and follows with an uppercut. The two exchange fists for a while, until Allen was able to land a solid punch in Conner's stomach.

Conner felt the stupid hard punch as he braces against the momentum, literally creating a path as he is shoved backwards.

Conner was taken by surprise this. This guy was deploying abilities much faster than he predicted, and here he thought he was one of the best in the country.

He signals for outside interference as a beam shoots towards Allen hitting him in the shoulder, but due to Allen's innate barrier it just deflected off him.

This took everyone present by surprise, except Allen, "Oi, ever heard of a fair fight? Typical a.s.sa.s.sin."

Conner guessed that they should go all out. He signals for the other two to join him.

They appear beside Conner, "Sorry about this kid. I ain't taking chances this time."

All three of them charge Allen down simultaneously. Allen deploys an area of effect null s.h.i.+eld.

The three made contact sending a shock wave outwards. The three flipped backwards as Allen was shoved a few paces backwards.

Fighting three on one was going to be tough.

Two starts shooting elemental b.a.l.l.s at him as earth spikes come from the ground towards Allen.

Allen flips backwards to avoid the doom spikes as well as deploying s.h.i.+eld to protect himself against the incoming elemental barrage.

The flip was unfortunately slow as they appeared below him, blasting Allen with everything they got. Allen uses the half cylinder propulsion method to shoot him out of harms' way. They just kept on following him everywhere he went doing the exact same thing.

This was frustrating Allen, so he experimented with an idea he had. Create a wall, combine it with his propulsion method and see what happens.

Doing just that he forms a wall, connects his half cylinder propulsion method and shoots it forward at them.

It was stopped dead in its tracks. Turns out it didn't have enough force behind it, but it did give Allen enough time to get to the ground, instead of having to shoot himself everywhere to get out of harm's way.

They were on him yet again, but this time they deployed blue glowing metal sabre and slashed towards Allen. Allen was instinctively deploying his null s.h.i.+eld to divert their attack. A flurry of swis.h.i.+ng and clanging ensued.

Allen was barely able to keep up. This is getting rough. He decided to try something that he was hesitant to use due its low power, but it was a do or die situation.

He got a small opportunity as he was barely able to touch a man's elbow. A perfect sphere formed around the man's elbow. Allen envisions the exact same ability he used to crush the a.s.sailant on the previous attempt on MeLing's.

The man suddenly felt and preposterous amount of pain shooting trough his arm. With a cry he jumps backwards cradling his arm that was hanging by noting except some skin. The bone was completely pulverised.

He injects a silvery liquid into his arm. Conner quickly joins his side, "You okay?"

The man nodded, but he was sweating profusely. His arm was out of the fight. Conner looked at Allen in a slightly annoyed and fearful way.

His abilities are abnormal.

The other man was still fighting Allen one on one during this time, as Allen successfully gets a punch in on the man's chest. A small sphere forms in his chest cavity and immediately crushes a part of his heart and lung.

The man was only stunned for a brief period before hitting the ground, dead.

This enraged the man that was hurt previously, as he charges blindly towards Allen, "THAT WAS MY BROTHER!!!"

"Wait, don't rush in carelessly, Nabel!"

Allen has already created a sphere on his and turned it to the wind element. He needed s.p.a.ce some s.p.a.ce so that he could one on one Conner. Allen attempts a trip but the man jumps to avoid it with his own fist baring down on him. Allen was obviously expecting a miss so he spun to avoid the strike then punching him solidly in the face, sending him flying through a bunch of columns. He was sent careening of the building, but Conner was hiding in a dead spot with his sabre outstretched.

Allen avoids the sabre but his clothes gets grabbed in the process as Conner continues and attempts to throw him of the building. Allen is sent quite the distance off the edge.

Allen again tries to experiment with his crus.h.i.+ng ability. By creating a half sphere and enlarging it, he was able to create a sucking vortex. The power wasn't great but it was enough to pull Conner towards him.

This took Conner by a complete surprise. They tussled in the air before Allen was able to get behind Conner grabbing him by his hair and throat.

Off in the distance, Allen could see that MeLing was in trouble. Conner was still struggling to get the upper hand, but Allen was just too strong for him, or had too much of an aerial advantage.

Allen used his propulsion abilities to propel him towards the group on the ground. He starts shouting at the top of his lungs and activates as much propulsion as possible.

A ma.s.sive bang is followed by what seemed to be a white cone-shaped streak cras.h.i.+ng down towards the group.

BOOOOOOOOM!!!!!

When the dust settles Allen could feel his arm has been hurt pretty badly, but Conner suffered way more damage.

Allen looks down at Conner with his foot on his head turning towards MeLing.

He looks at MeLing's condition, and just shakes his head, "Tsk, tsk, tsk. I did tell you to run didn't I?"
