Leo arrived at the entrance to the village. Moss overgrown on wood, and gra.s.s run wild in what used to be a dirt road. He saw Hannah's old house, and he saw the hut that he used to lay on in ruins. The hut had caved in, and he saw Hannah's grave next to the hut. He wiped away the moss that started to grow on the tombstone they made for her.

"Here lies Rachel, the finest, kindest woman you'll ever meet and her twins, a boy and a girl."

Her real name was Hannah, but the only name she gave Leo was Rachel. Leo couldn't help but wonder if she wanted to start a new life with a new name, maybe with him. Leo suggested this to Solomon when they were making the tombstone, and Solomon said, "You're not so bad. Are you kid? Alright. The dead have no say in these matters anyway."

And so, they engraved the name Rachel on her tombstone, to symbolize her hopes for the future.

Leo was attached. "Rachel" was the first person to show him kindness ever since he was forced to kill for Brimstone. Rachel... he surely did feel some guilt, but he was also attracted to the beauty of Rachel, the daughter of Deborah. But he also felt obligated to reciprocate her feelings for him. He had lied about his real name to Hannah. She lied for a new future, but Leo deceived her out of fear.
