Infinite Adventure 38 Chapter 36 - Luffy Arrives

After they finished making fun of Luffys new monkey form, everyone left. Ace and Sabo were the fastest to leave since they didn't want to be made fun of Luffy for not even having a True Form. Sora expected that he would remain in his world until he was able to transform back into a human three days later, but Luffy decided to sail as a monkey while he couldn't change back. His crew could only hope they didn't get seen by any pirates, marine or come across another island during those three days as they followed him back to the Happy World.

Four days later the Straw hat Pirates arrived at Water 7. Luffy, as always, was being loud. He was shouting about finding a s.h.i.+pwright so loud it woke Sora up. Sora was severely annoyed, due to Luffy ruining his plans to sleep in that day. So, Sora immediately used haki to locate Luffy's position and appeared in front of him.

Sora: "Luffy, shut up! You woke me up from such a nice dream! If you do that again, I'll beat you up!"

Luffy: "Oh, Sora! Hi! Why are you here?"

Sora: "I'm also staying at this island right now, s.h.i.+t up! I'm going back to bed."

Thinking Luffy would at least be a little quieter, Sora returned to his cabin and prepared to sleep once more. Just as his head hit the pillow...

Luffy: "OI YOU GUYS! SORA IS ON THIS ISLAND TOO! WE SHOULD GO SAY HI TO EVERYONE!"

Sora quickly got up and bolted out of his cabin, once again appearing before Luffy and punching him in the face. In response he was also punched in the face by Luffy. The two were about to get into an actual fight that would most likely destroy the island when Nami showed up and knocked Sora over the head while Clemmy did the same for Luffy. Then they were dragged away to be lectured, but not before Sora shot a bolt of lightning at Luffy, which he hardly even felt. He was rubber, it was just a minor annoyance to him.

After Sora was lectured by Nami, he left to go find Kalifa once again. She didn't just maintain a cold face now the whole time. Sora estimated he would only need to remain here about the same time as Luffy did. He could then head to Sabaody after meeting Perona at Thriller Bark. He wouldn't take the Lightning Blossom there, but he would just go over there. 'Maybe I should just tell Zoro to kidnap her or something?' He wondered. He thought it might be too troublesome to look for Thriller Bark and return to his own s.h.i.+p afterwards.

Sora got himself out of his thoughts, and he went to go greet the Straw Hats with his own crew. Hopefully, him and Luffy didn't start a fight and ruin the whole island was what everyone thought right now. Everyone knew if they did, n.o.body would stop them this time. Sanji was busy trying to suck up to the girls. Chopper and Ussop were scared. Zoro and Kuina would have their own fight. Monet wouldn't get in the way of Soras fun. Anna would stop any interruptions. Kaya would just watch it all happen. Nami and Clemmy didn't want to have to fight Anna and Monet to stop them.

Luckily, it seemed they didn't want to fight, and instead they simply talked about how much stronger they were than Ace or Sabo. Zoro and Kuina, however, did have a duel that served as entertainment for everyone while they ate. Kuina won, giving herself another win over Zoro. This made their score 0 to 12,053. Zoro, of course had zero, while Kuina had 12,053. Once again he vowed to someday beat Kuina before he went to get himself some sake.

And so the arrival of the Straw Hats become a party between the two pirate groups. Everyone who knew of the Lightning Wing Pirates on the island grew curious of them since the Lightning Wing Pirates never attempted to interact with other pirate groups unless they were beating them for something. Especially, this caught the attention of CP9. Rob Lucci quickly reported to the World Government that it was likely the Straw Hat pirates were the group of pirates led by the fourth brother mentioned by Sora.

They were ordered to immediately begin making preparations to annihilate them and Sora. Two Admirals would be coming over to a.s.sist along with two members of Cipher Pol Aegis Zero. Lucci was told if they did well, they could earn a chance to join CP0. He then informed other members of CP9, including Blueno, who was currently disguised as a bartender.

When Kalifa heard this she acted happy, but soon after she returned to her room for the night, decided she needed to warn Sora. She didn't know why, but she didn't want anything to happen to him. She shook the thought of 'love' out her head quickly because as an a.s.sa.s.sin, she was trained to be unfeeling. However much she told herself she didn't like Sora, though, she always arrived back at that though. Otherwise, why would she want to help him? A pirate? Because he gave her information? No. She had used people for information in the past and never felt a need to help them like this.
