Vengeful Hero 1 The Nightmare

In a room we see a boy in his early twenties sleeping, his face covered in sweat surely having a

nightmare. A lady in her forties enters the room.

Seeing the boy drenched in sweat she embraces him and tries to soothe his pain.

Lady: "Alex, wake up son! Everything is fine please wake up".

The lady turns out to be the boy's mother Martha.

Aaahhhhh!!! Ah!! Ah!!.....h! h! h!

The boy wakes up screaming and panting for air, he seem's suffocated.

After some time the boy relaxes and notices the surrounding. Seeing that he is in his room his heart comes to ease, but noticing the panic and tears on his mother's face he feels guilty.

Alex: "Mom I am alright"

Martha: "You had the same dream?"

Alex: "Yes"

Martha: "Why don't you go on a vacation and enjoy your life"

Alex: "I can't mom I have an interview today, I need to find a job and most importantly I don't want to leave dad and you"

Martha smiles and doesn't say any further but is worried inside.

After talking about some random things Martha leaves the room asking Alex to come down soon.

Alex walks into the bathroom. When he removes his clothes we can see scars all over his body on the back and chest. After pondering over something for a while Alex starts getting ready.

On the dining table a man in his mid-forties is reading the newspaper. Seeing Martha worrying over something asks her the matter.

Martha: "George we need to do something Alex is getting those dreams more frequently"

George (knitting his brows): "Did he get one today too?"

Martha: "Yes, I asked him to go spend some time on vacation but he won't listen. Why don't you try?"

George: "Doctor said the same thing but Alex refused saying he won't go without us"

Martha: "So why don't we go on a trip all together"

George: "You also know in my work I can't just ask for vacations. On top of that some foreign diplomats are also coming soon."

Martha: "So what should we do?"

George: "Didn't Alex had an interview today if he gets the job it might be a good distract for him"

At the same time Alex comes down dressed formally giving a n.o.ble vibe. Alex being nearly 6 feet tall with a broad shoulder, a great build and fair complexion is every girls dream. Alex has a flawless face no one can guess seeing his face that if you remove his clothes you will see a body full of scars.

Seeing Alex coming Martha and George stops their discussion and greet him. Martha goes to get breakfast.

Alex: "Good morning dad"

George: "Good morning! I heard you again had one of those dreams?"

Alex: "Nothing serious, leave it. Why don't we discuss about today's party?"

George: "Party?"

Alex: "Don't tell me you forgot, mom won't leave you. Today is mom's birthday"

George: "F**K!!"

Alex: "I knew it you will forget it. I have already planned for the party you just need to buy a gift, I will message you the details later"

Sob! Sob!

George (On the verge of crying): "Thank you son! You are my savior"

Alex: "Well I have an interview today see you in the evening"

After having breakfast Alex leaves the house…..

"Hi Alex"

Just when Alex left his house he was greeted by the lady next door.

"h.e.l.lo miss Cole"

Margaret Cole is the lady who lives right next to Alex's house. In her early thirties, she is a lady with mature charm. She was once married to a real estate developer but later divorced and has been single since then. She lives alone in her house. Margaret has a very warm personality which makes her easy to approach adding to her seductive charms she is the perfect lady. Many rich and influential families tried to marry her into their families her but no one can. No one knows what she does for a living but she sure is rich, leading to a lot of rumors about her.Some say that she married an old guy and after his death all the property transferred to her. Some say that she is a sl*t warming the beds of rich men. But no one knows for sure.

Margaret: "Jeez!! Alex just call me Margaret miss Cole sounds distant and I feel like an old lady". Margaret replied in a seductively tracing her finger along the face of Alex.

The only time Alex feels powerless is when he is talking to this lady. Saying that he has no interest in her would be like questioning whether he is a man or not.

Alex: "Today I have an interview Margaret so let's talk later I am getting late"

Margaret: "Oh! So today is your big day". Now her hand is rolling all over his chest and going down.

Alex: "Yes". Controlling his breathing he replied.

Margaret: "If you get selected you will give me a treat me won't you?" Now her hand was about to reach his pants.

Alex: "Alright"

Being treated like a toy in broad day light in the middle of road Alex didn't know what to do, dodging her hand he ran as fast as he could not turning back.

"Hehe… So I do have some charm left" Margret thought.

After running for more than a kilometer Alex stopped and while panting heavily he stopped a taxi.

Giving the address of the company Alex relaxed himself while looking out of the window thinking about his peaceful life, but he does not why but there is a feeling of emptiness somewhere in his heart as if all this is not for the real him.

While he was wondering about all these soon the taxi came to halt.

Coming out of his thoughts he looked at the tall building in front of him, this is the place where his new journey will begin.
