During his time working on his mobile game, Ting had been doing system missions and acc.u.mulated quite a amount of System Credits.
He had acc.u.mulated 13 000 System Credits over the time he created the game. He only needed 10 000 System Credits to upgrade his system up one level.
He went to the system shop and searched for the system upgrade when he found it he didn't hesitate to buy it right away. He had been waiting until he finished his game before he upgraded his system. He had been enduring the wait until today.
Now finally he will be able to find out what his system will offer him.
["Are you sure?"] The system asked for confirmation.
"Yes!" Ting thought in his head. He confirmed he wanted to but the system upgrade.
["10000 System Credits has been deducted from your total balance."]
["System Upgrade Bought... System will be offline for 1 hour doing the system upgrades."]
["Please standby"] The System announced.
After Ting bought the system upgrade, he didn't know what to do anymore. He couldn't access his system for an hour. But an hour isn't too long after all. He could just wait by sitting in a chair, sleeping, or going for a walk.
However, Ting had already taken a walk this morning he didn't want to take another walk, even though it would be good for him. He was just too tired. Therefore he chose not too.
He thought about the things he could do. After a moment of thought Ting face palmed. "How could I forget I could do some hacking?" He murmured as he stood up from his bed and walked toward his computer.
When he got to his computer he quickly turned it on wanting to do something instead of just waiting. It would a waste of his time if he just sat there for a hour staring at the ceiling lying on his bed.
He ain't stupid to do that. I mean he would do that if he got hurt from a rejection from his crush. Then that's when you know you came to the right place.
At his computer now, Ting went onto the HackersNetwork website to accept a a.s.signment. Ting loves this website. He loves he because of how much money he is able to earn, and the experience he gains from completing the task. Even though there is a very slim chance of him getting caught it was well worth it.
If you were starting out newly as a hacker then you will have a higher chance at betting caught. However, for Ting he had his system to give him experience before he was put into a real situation. Ting was also learning from his a.s.signments better and more efficient ways for him to infiltrate quickly.
The a.s.signment Ting accepted was one of the ones he had seen the most of; Get a copy of this persons chat messages.
Ting didn't know why how many people want to find out if their partner is cheating or not. But, it was not like he didn't feel how they felt, even though he is still single like a pringle. However, this wasn't his problem so he still choose to do this a.s.signment just because it gives a good amount of cash and is relatively easy.

Ting finished the task 30 minutes after he started the a.s.signment. This was relatively quick but he could do better. He earned a quick 250 USD from the a.s.signment and was satisfied. He decided to check out how his mobile game was going. When he saw the number of download on the app store he couldn't help but yell.
The number of downloads had reached 10, 000 downloads. Even though this might look like a small amount, think of this. It was his first game, he had no reputation at all and obviously no one knew who the company PenguinGames is.
When Ting thought about the money he gets he couldn't help be happy about it. It was his hard work that was put into this game. Even though he might've made this game so he could explain how he got his money out of nowhere from HackersNetwork. Ting saw that most of the reviews on his mobile game were positive. Some negative reviews were there but they were drowned out by the positive ones.
People giving their suggestions on how he could improve the gaming experience. Some were relatively simple and others were like add multiplayer to this game. But, Ting knew that this won't become a multiplayer game because he didn't want the trouble of people trying to break his game by hacking into his server. But with a single player-game how would you affect the peoples experience? Only by hacking into individual phones would they be able to disrupt the users experience.
Ting knew that if he wanted to have multiplayer he would need to leave defending to a team he hires.
Ting decide to implement some of the suggestions he got from the reviews. This took a while and when he finished he made a update for his game.
["System has been upgraded"]
Ting felt tingles on his back and neck, he totally forgot about his system. He was too immersed with coding the new things that was suggested into his new game that he lost tract of time.
Ting ignored everything else while calling open his system.
What he found when he first opened it was that the layout of everything changed. Everything was more simple and neat. The fonts were like icing on a cake; it was beautiful to look at.
He could literally admire the font for an entire day and not get bored. But Ting knew that he shouldn't do that, he wanted to find out about the new stuff.
What he found in the new layout was a options menu now. In addition to this at the bottom right corner of the layout showed his system level.
Now instead of having to go to the system shop to check how much System Credits he has. Now the amount of System Credits were shown at the bottom left Corning along with name and code name.
Ting decided to check out the options menu, he thought quickly to click on the options menu and it opened for him.
What he found gave him quite a nice surprise.
