Lena and Liza are making plans for the occasion and while they were busy, I decided to take a walk. I was walking through Brisevane Woods when I heard it in the distance. I rushed toward the sound and found a grizzly scene. It was a single car accident, a mother and daughter. She couldn't have been more than two or three years old. Her mother was already gone but the little girl was holding on. I began to walk away, to let fate work its will when I looked down at this tiny, little girl. She opened her eyes and looked at me.

Suddenly, I couldn't do it. I couldn't let her die. I don't know what it was that I saw, what wouldn't allow me to leave. But I couldn't. So I did the only thing I could think to do.
I brought her up to my lips and I bit her. I actually felt a tear p.r.i.c.k my eyes as I watched her breathing slow and become shallow. Then she was still. I hoped I had done it right. I've never turned anyone before and I was relieved when she began breathing again.
I put a binding spell on her to keep her safe. She will not know what she is for a lifetime. She will grow as a human; even grow old if she makes it. She could even die of old age as a mortal would and that would end her lifetime and she will know what she truly is. She will be the last Kethra, not I. I'm not sure what this means for Adam and I but it had to be done. I couldn't have had it any other way. Now to protect her, I am putting a memory spell on myself to forget about tonight. No one must ever know until she surfaces and hopefully Casimir will think to look in this diary to learn the truth, if I don't return. If so, I will remember and be able to protect her.
Until I read this again, take care and find our true purpose, our path.
