You don't know me yet but you will know me soon enough. You can see me and think that I am beautiful and attractive beyond belief, but deep down inside, the side of me you've never seen, is dark and evil. Abby
I looked around at Adam and Silas. Adam was lying in the bed beside me asleep and Silas sat in a plush chair next to the bed. I sat up and Silas looked over at me, "Good morning," he said cheerfully. I just woke up after turning into an immortal Kethra and all of my memories just fell into place.
I now had a singular timeline of my life, or lives, one life as Drusilla, Champion of the G.o.ds, and one life as Abby, the human dreamer and writer.
Silas had been a dear friend of mine as Dru. He had reignited my faith in mankind, in humanity. He had been the one that Ares went to with my blood to turn me, and he had.
Next to me was Adam. He's supposed to be The immune, the man that I am meant to spend all of eternity with. I'd felt it when I first saw him as a baby, when I had been Dru, only Dru. I reached over and gently shook him awake. His eyes opened and he looked over at me sleepily.
I gazed over into those brilliant blue eyes and felt nothing more than a strong connection, only a connection. I mean, the world didn't fall away. The universe didn't stand still. There was something about his aura, his energy that drew me to him but nothing else. I knew that they had told him that he and I were meant to be. That he is in a prophecy and that makes him significant. I knew he expected it to be true, and maybe it would be in time. So I kept it to myself.

"How do you feel?" Adam asked as he stood and began to walk around the bed. Silas stood and joined Adam at the foot of the bed.
I thought to myself, 'Everything is as it should be' and my fangs receded. "I feel immortal. I feel strong. I feel like I could take on the world!"
"Whoa, whoa, slow down, Dru." Silas said calmly.
"Abby," I said matter of factly. "It's Abby, I'm not Dru. I mean, I was Dru and Dru is a part of me, but I am not Dru anymore. I'm Abby."
"Hmm," he quietly considered, his eyes off in thought. "I guess you do have a point. You aren't going to be the Dru you were because you have been Abby for what, thirty years?"
"Exactly, I was 'reset'," I made the quotation gesture with my fingers as I said, reset. "I am the reset, which was the purpose."
"Now to explain this all to the others," Silas sighed exasperated.
I stood up straight and announced. "I think it's time for a family reunion," I said with a smile on my face.
