The wave of soil coming straight at Cade. With his low speed, Cade was unable to run away from it. Cade lifted his s.h.i.+eld and blocked the incoming wave of soil.

While he was looking for the caster of that skill, the other Boarman around attacked him. Cade was unable to locate that Boarman due to their interference.

While the Boarman attacking him, suddenly, few small stones flew right at him. Cade saw the stones coming and blocked it with his s.h.i.+eld.

However, to Cade's surprise, the stone punctured his s.h.i.+eld. "What the?!!" as the stone pa.s.sed through the s.h.i.+eld, they hit Cade's body.

"Guh!!" Cade can feel the pain from the impact of the stones but he did not suffer any injuries. Cade wanted to check his body but he was currently busy fighting the Boarman and now, he needed to look out for that stone bullet.

Cade concluded that it was the stone bullet skill based on the speed of the stone. It was a magic attack and thus, his cardboard s.h.i.+eld with zero magic defense was unable to block it.

There were two types of the stone bullet. A physical stone bullet and magic stone bullet. The difference between the two was that the physical stone bullet used stone from surrounding while the magic stone bullet created the stone with mana.

A physical stone bullet was easier to use but since it was physical, it was easier to block. However, that did not mean it was weaker than the magic stone bullet. With enough speed and types of stone, the skill can be deadly.

The magic stone bullet, on the other hand, was harder to use because the user needed to be able to control their mana properly to create the stone. However, equipment with defense stat stood no chance in blocking it.

Luckily for Cade, his hoodie and jeans had a magic defense stat and protected him from the magic stone bullet. Though the stat was not as high as his cardboard round s.h.i.+eld, it was enough to block the stone bullet.

"The bullet did not have that much power," thought Cade while he blocked an attack from a Boarman and countered the Boarman with a slash using his cardboard short sword.

Since Cade was unable to see the user of the stone bullet and he was incapable to keep an eye to his surroundings due to his lack of experience and skill, he decided to move around a lot while fighting.

Cade made that decision because that was one of the easiest things to do to throw off the accuracy of the stone bullet if the user decided to use it again.

"Tch! Stop moving around!" thought the Boarman in a brown robe who was hiding beside a tent nearby. He tried to kill Cade without showing himself but he needed to change that strategy as he cannot aim his stone bullet at Cade.

Cade realized that there were no stone bullets shot at him again, "I made the right choice this time," thought Cade but he still being cautious and kept moving around.

Due to the Boarman unable to kill Cade, more and more of them came to join the fight and Cade was greatly pressured by the many Boarman attacking him.

He dodged, evaded, parried, slashed, tackled and many more but he was unable to kill even one of the Boarman in front of him. It was all because of them working together to attack Cade as well as defending their comrades from Cade's attack.

More than that, his movement was reduced greatly and the stone bullets had started coming again. He was lucky that his hoodie and jeans helped him a lot from blocking the stone bullets.

However, his cardboard equipment was in bad shape. Cade's s.h.i.+eld, body armor, gas mask, and sword had lots of holes on it and their durability had decreased tremendously.

A few more attacks from the stone bullets, he will lose his cardboard equipment. Not only that, though he did not suffer major injuries, he was bruised all over his body from the impact of the stone bullets.

Other than that, his hoodie and jeans had also suffered some damaged thanks to the axe and hammer attacks from the Boarman.

"This is bad! I cannot locate the Boarman with the stone bullet and ten Boarman are attacking me!" Cade started to panic especially when he can see that his equipment will soon be useless.

He had spare equipment in his storage but there was no way he can equip them while fighting. He cannot divert even an ounce of his attention towards the system for other equipment because in front of him were enemies that wanted him to die.

"What should I do now? Am I going to die here? Ugh! Idiot luck! I have maximum luck but I am not lucky at all. What is this? I almost died once and now; I am certain that I will die. There is no one else that can help me. I am alone right now!" thought Cade.

Due to Cade 100% focusing on the fight in front of him, he did not know what happened to the other explorers. He a.s.sumed that many of them had died and the one still alive was also in the same situation as him.

No one can help him and he needed to help himself but he had no idea what he should do now. Cade was getting tired physically and mentally.

"My bloodline skill is useless. The physical resistance that I heavily relied on is useless. All the Boarman in front of me is D grade… My equipment will soon be useless too…" While thinking of that, Cade started losing hope.

"Hahaha! Monkey, you can see that many of us want part of your body to decorate our room. That proves that you are strong. We honor the strength and you have that," said that loud Boarman again.

"Maybe I can run away while they blabbered all this nonsense s.h.i.+t!" thought Cade. The Boarman was too busy talking that he thought it might be a good idea to run away from them.

"But… I cannot do that… if I run away, that means I abandon everyone in this camp… I know the feeling of that so, I cannot run away…" thought Cade while he stared at all the Boarman busily talking among themselves.

"Hah! Did you guys finish too?" a Boarman that was not there earlier came to them.

"How about you? Finish already?" asked another Boarman.

"All the ones that can fight is already finished. We left the injured monkey alive to work as our slave," said that Boarman and he saw Cade. "Are you keeping this monkey alive too?"

"Ha? No way? This monkey is the most dangerous one here. He needs to die. We are just discussing who will keep his head after this," said that Boarman.

"No one will keep his head. We will display his body at the base. So no one is keeping any part of him," suddenly a Boarman in brown robe appeared. The Boarman was different compared to the normal Boarman Cade had met before.

He was not as bulky and big as normal Boarman. His body proportion was similar to humans. If he did not have the head and fur of the boar, he can be pa.s.sed by as a human.

"So… a variant Boarman… this guy must be the one with the stone bullet skill," thought Cade.
