"Hi granny", Quincy popped out behind Seraphina during her facetime session with the lovely granny Jacob.
"Oh my! You found her"
"Yes granny Jacob, we just happen to be apartment neighbors"
"What fate! So anything for this old woman?" Granny had on the 'lifted eyebrow and smirk' look on her face.
Seraphina cut in, "We are together now granny. We called to say thank you for your matchmake."
Quincy added, "are you free for lunch with us tomorrow?"
Granny smiled gleefully. "Yes my babies. Pick me up anytime. I'll be ready to go. Don't waste your precious bonding time on this old woman. See you tomorrow." Granny hung up before they could say anything. Seraphina and Quincy looked at each other and laughed at granny's naughtiness.
In a coffee shop...
Granny Jacob was all smiles as she delivered the news to the person sitting across from her.
"They are together now, Alice. We did it"
Alice laughed with joy. "I knew our efforts wouldn't be wasted. I'm so happy. We need to tell the others fast, Janet."
"Sure thing", Janet replied as she picked up her phone to announce the news in a group chat.
Alice Davis and Janet Jacob. Bestfriends since childhood. Quincy's granny and Seraphina's granny.

"OMG, she's a beauty", Alice announced as she looked at baby Seraphina. She turned to Paul and Laura, parents of seraphina. "You're so blessed my dears. She's a lovely one".
"Thank you aunty Davis", Laura said smilingly as she looked down at her daughter in Janet's arms.
"Give her to my grandson. I want her as my granddaughter-in-law". Everyone looked at her with shock registered on their faces. 'Someone was definitely high on sugar' was what everyone was thinking.
"Don't look so shocked. I want you to give your blessings to Quincy and allow him to pursue her when she's old enough. I won't force it if they don't get together, but I really want her " Alice said convincingly with her huge eyes popping out and her pitiful pout.
Paul was the first to give his blessings. Then Laura agreed too. The two grannys were so ecstatic and beamed with joy as they played with little Seraphina.
Since that moment on, Quincy and Seraphina's fate had been sealed.
