Jin Qi-Long smiled at her, "Yeah, you know it's those two girls. They sure gave me a rough day today."
"I'm sorry for not being able to help you!" w.a.n.g Yi-An indeed felt awful about leaving during the fight between Tong Yue-Yan and Lee Yin-Yin. However, Yang Tian-Xu is her boss; if he tells her not to waste time and go back to work. She would have to do so, doesn't she?
Even though, she felt like she should have stayed to help the two girls calmed down. Jin Qi-Long started a conversation with w.a.n.g Yi-An as he tells her just how terrible it has been if she were to stay behind.
"The girls cursed at each other, pull on their hair, bite and scratch each other, and overall it was like living in h.e.l.l." As Jin Qi-Long complains to w.a.n.g Yi-An, he felt blessed that at least someone indeed cares about him enough to listen.
On the other hand, Yang Tian-Xu was feeling a bit jealous. He slapped Jin Qi-Long on the back and said, "Well, Mr Jin here is a very dependable man, he can handle anything you throw at him. An-An, you shouldn't need to worry or feel bad about him. Handling women is Mr Jin's special ability."
"Oh…" w.a.n.g Yi-An felt a bit sorry for Jin Qi-Long. w.a.n.g Yi-An was there before the two girls had fought and she knew the reason why they argued. It had nothing to do with Jin Qi-Long, it was because they wanted to get information about President Yang! w.a.n.g Yi-An began to think it was unfair for Jin Qi-Long.
It was a shame for the girls that Yang Tian-Xu doesn't seem to give them any attention. It makes w.a.n.g Yi-An felt worst for Jin Qi-Long. Did she feel like perhaps Jin Qi-Long was used to cleaning up Yang Tian-Xu's mess? Nevertheless, w.a.n.g Yi-An was just an employee. She doesn't want to get herself involved in her boss personal affairs.
"Would you two be coming to the restaurant for a meal?" w.a.n.g Yi-An asked them politely.
Jin Qi-Long looked over at the jealous Yang Tian-Xu for a second before he gave her a big grin and said, "Oh! We want more than just a meal! Do you guys have any alcohol?"
"Yes! Of course, we do! Come in and take a seat!" w.a.n.g Yi-An welcome them into the restaurant as she gestures them in. The two walked in and saw the inside of Happiness Restaurant. Compared to most of the place they had been to, Happiness Restaurant was not a high cla.s.s. It is more like a regular family restaurant.
The internal design of the restaurant was mostly yellow, and with a red strip going along the mouldings of the walls. There were about fifty or even sixty tables. At the far back of the restaurants, there were about four booths. Two on each side of the wall.
w.a.n.g Yi-An leads them to a more private area; which was further in the back of the restaurant. It was overall noisy and loud as customers would enjoy themselves.
Most of the customers there are regular, and they all call w.a.n.g Yi-An; An-An. As she pa.s.sed by them, she would greet them and ask them if they need anything. Then she would continue to take Yang Tian-Xu and Jin Qi-Long to the back.
At the back of the restaurant was a tiny booth. It was a lot quieter compared to the front. w.a.n.g Yi-An showed them to their seat and brought them a pot of tea to enjoy first.
Yang Tian-Xu and Jin Qi-Long sat down and began to look at the menu. Jin Qi-Long wanted w.a.n.g Yi-An to select the food for them, and he only wanted snacks that can pair well with alcohol.
"What about you, President Yang?" She said as she was taking their orders.
"I'll take anything you recommend." Yang Tian-Xu pa.s.sed the menu back to her, and he smiled at her sweetly. Yang Tian-Xu was happy to see w.a.n.g Yi-An again.
"Okay, why don't you drink some tea while I get your order ready?" w.a.n.g Yi-An took the menus as she smiled at them, and went to get their orders ready.
Meanwhile, they were waiting for their orders, and Yang Tian-Xu didn't expect to see her already; this made him extremely happy. However, he turned to look at Jin Qi-Long with a murderous look as he whispered to him. "Don't you try to get too close to her!"
"What? Are you jealous?" Jin Qi-Long mocked him as he grinned at Yang Tian-Xu. Jin Qi-Long didn't expect Yang Tian-Xu to respond to him. Typically, if he makes a joke like that, Yang Tian-Xu would openly ignore him, like he always does. However, once he heard Yang Tian-Xu's response; he was shocked.
"Yes." Yang Tian-Xu didn't deny it and admitted it straight on. "I don't want you to get too close with her."
It was honestly unbelievable to Jin Qi-Long's ears! Jin Qi-Long remembered that ever since they were little, Yang Tian-Xu would always share with him all of his toys, his food, even when they have homework.
Yang Tian-Xu would share everything with him. Jin Qi-Long barely couldn't believe that his best friend that he grew up with could become someone so... Jealous? Jin Qi-Long just had to ask him, "Yang Tian-Xu! You would pick her over our friends.h.i.+p?"
"Always." Yang Tian-Xu said with a straight face. Meanwhile, Jin Qi-Long was amazed by his reply. Yang Tian-Xu was serious. If he had to pick between w.a.n.g Yi-An and Jin Qi-Long he would pick w.a.n.g Yi-An in a heartbeat.
Yang Tian-Xu wasn't afraid to show Jin Qi-Long his feelings for w.a.n.g Yi-An. Jin Qi-Long sighed heavily. "I cannot believe this day has finally come." He said as he poured a cup of tea for Yang Tian-Xu.
Yang Tian-Xu would pick up the cup. He blew on it to cool the temperature down, as he took a sip. Then Yang Tian-Xu sneaks a peek over at the counter to look for w.a.n.g Yi-An. There she stood by the bar as she was laughing and talking with a man.
