My Obsession 1 When I First Met You.

If the world around us could freeze at any moment you want for the rest of your life. What moment in your life would you choose? For now, when he held her deep into his arms. It was at that moment he wished that time would stop.

The man stood tall as he embraced the woman in his arms. She was much shorter than the man, so her head reaches to his chest. The smell of her hair, the sound of her voice when she asked, "Are you okay?" It became clear to him that he entirely can't live without her. The woman whom he thought he could never love. The one whom he thought he'd hate.

He remembered back to six months ago when he had met her for the first time. It was Mid-April, and the sky was as bright and beautiful as it could be after the rain. The gra.s.s was still a bit wet, but it was green, and the air smells like spring.

The handsome young man who was sitting at the window looking out was, Yang Tian-Xu. Yang Tian-Xu is the direct descendants of the Yang Family. Although, the Generals of the Yang Family may be folklore to many others. However, to the remaining descendants of the Yang Family, it is a part of their family history that would never be forgotten.

He was sitting next to the window where he could easily glance outside at the busy street. Across from him was his business partner, Jin Qi-Long.

Jin Qi-Long maybe Yang Tian-Xu childhood friend, but Yang Tian-Xu has always been a severe type of guy. Business is business, and friend is a friend. He never mixes their relations.h.i.+p. Today they were meeting to talk about a new product that Jin Qi-Long's company supposed to release in August.

Yang Tian-Xu's company, The Yang's Family Cooperation. Also known as Yang Corps, the Yang's Family owns it. The Yang Corps is related to all sorts of business matters ranging from financial to Legal, and from entertainment to the advertis.e.m.e.nt, they are a big company that steps foot in multiple industries and business matters.

In the marketing and advertising department, where Yang Tian-Xu overlooks as well. They were supposed to be discussing the audition process for the commercial. However, the only thing that was of interest to Jin Qi-Long was women. He wanted to have the famous singer, Lee Yin-Yin to be the lead actress in the commercial for his new product.

All Yang Tian-Xu done was sit and listen while the guy rambles on about how beautiful this actress/singer was. Yang Tian-Xu had a suit on, and he looks das.h.i.+ng and handsome as every girl that walks by would sneak a glance at him.

A handsome young, and successful businessman. He was confident in the way he sits, as he listens to his business partner and friend talk. It was about random things that aren't so business related. The topic does not interest him, and he quickly loses interest and stares outside the window, again.

Outside on the busy street, with plenty of people moving back and forward. He stares at a homeless man who sat there with his pet dog across the street. They both looked as if they haven't eaten anything for days and they looked dirty. He looked at the two and couldn't help but pity them.

As he thought how life must have sucked for them, a girl walked by. She looked as if she was still in High School. The girl dressed in a simple light-blue T-s.h.i.+rt and a pair of ripped up dark-blue jeans.

She came up to them both and gave the homeless man a bag. The man was grateful and nodded in appreciation. As he opened up to see it filled with food, he started eating. She gave him another bag. Pet food, it was the one with balanced nutrition for dogs. She then smiled at the dog as she bent down to pat its head. She got up and left, with a sweet innocent smile on her face, as she waved farewell to them both.

He didn't notice, but when his eyes followed her for a minute or two before he turns his attention back to Jin Qi-Long.

The guy kept speaking about how great this singer/actress/model was as if Yang Tian-Xu cared. It's because they had been friends for a long time, that he let him get away with the nonsense.

They spent at least two to three hours at the cafe, and it was mostly the non-chattering voices of Jin Qi-Long talking nonsense about this super hot girl: Lee Yin-Yin, all Yang Tian-Xu done was nodding.

The meeting ended, and they both went their separate ways. It was already almost 1:35 PM, Yang Tian-Xu had many doc.u.ments to look over in his office. So when Jin Qi-Long asked him to go somewhere with him, he firmly rejected it before he left the coffee shop.

He had parked his car closed by from the cafe because it was a busy day and parking seems rare. So he parked at a park-aide nearby. As he walked over, he pa.s.sed by the homeless man and the dog. However, just like anybody else he just went with them and ignored them and only took a glance.

He quickly went to his expensive looking car, got in and left the park-aide. As he drove out of it, the road packed with upcoming vehicles, he waited there for another three minutes to finally be able to squeeze into the street.

As he was waiting, he saw the same girl again. This time she was helping an older lady pus.h.i.+ng a cart of recycling bottles just crossing in front of him. She was so small and tiny, yet she wanted the whole thing for herself. She smiled at the older lady as she pushes the cart. Being closer to her somehow made his heart skipped a beat. The corner of his lip curled up, and he was surprised by his thought. "What the heck am I thinking about?"

He drove out as soon as he got his chance sometimes he would often look at his rear-mirrors hoping to see a glance of her still. The drive back to his office building wasn't long, he got off his car and his a.s.sistant, Tseng Kuan-Yin. Went to the driver seat and drove the car off to the park-aid for him.

The company's name, "Yang Corps." Hang proudly on the building. Inside the building, as he got in, he would be greeted by the staff. Yang Tian-Xu was instantly greeted from outside by the two security that was standing there, "Good afternoon, Mr Yang!" said the older looking male security guard. The other one was a little younger, and he would nervously bow his head down and shout, "Welcome back, President!"

He got inside, and the front receptionist would greet him with a bow as well, he walked his way to the elevator going up. There would be an elevator-greeter lady standing there welcoming him. Instead of asking him, "Which floor?" She decided he would go to the very top floor. After all, he is a man of considerable status in this family-operated company.

The building has a total of 8 floors. The ground floor was the lobby. With the customer service counter in the middle. As soon as customers or clients were to walk in, they would instantly greet them. The first floor up was the mall, and then the second floor is an extension of the shopping centre, and the third floor filled with the food court, and sometimes s.p.a.ces for rent for small business owners if available. Level 4 and 5 are office s.p.a.ces for rent for lawyers, doctor's offices, etc., Were all the professional services located. Floor 6 and 7 are the marketing, human resource, and the advertis.e.m.e.nt department of Yang Corps. The last level is only accessible by members of the Yang Family, or authorised personnel only.

The Elevator-Lady instantly thought that he would go up to the 8th floor, however. As she pushed on to level 8, he immediately reaches out his finger to push on to floor 7.

The Elevator-Lady quickly apologised, and he would say, "It's alright, it's not like you are a worm in my stomach how could you know."

The girl blushes as she stood by his side through the entire trip up, it was a good thing the whole journey was only about 30 seconds. However, she can feel the pressure of standing next to the only heir of the Yang Family.

The elevator reaches the 7th floor. Yang Tian-Xu got off, and she bows her head to see him off. Yang Tian-Xu walked with complete confidence, as he always has.

It was 2 pm. The office was busy, and the staff greeted Yang Tian-Xu as they saw he pa.s.ses through. He had long legs, so it didn't take long for him to go into the office. The sign on the office door clearly says, "Manager Jiang Fei" He was supposed to be the manager in charge of this floor.

However, with his sudden disappearance, it gave Yang Tian-Xu a colossal headache. He could have left everything to his a.s.sistant, but he wouldn't get very far if he had to neglect everything to others, his a.s.sistant was already busy with other workload relating to the different departments of the company.

It wasn't like anything was missing or stolen. Jiang Fei was a very trustworthy man and well organised. The manager, Jiang Fei disappearance, was a misfortune, and he had disappeared along with over 239 people on a plane. The plane had been gone for more than two years now.

There may be some people that are still searching for traces of that missing aircraft and are searching for the truth about it. However, again people life must go on, even though the friends and family of those that went missing were still much missed.

Yang Tian-Xu needed to find a replacement, but for now, he couldn't find someone that he could trust as much as he believed Manager Jiang.

He sat down at the desk. He didn't immediately go on to the computer to start working. He just sat there and closed his eyes, feeling all the anxiety. Suddenly the images of the girl pop up in his mind.

He thought to himself again. "If it was me… Would I have been so kind?" The corner of his lip curled up again. Then he shook his head. "Why do I think about a random girl!?"

Time quickly pa.s.sed by, before he realised it was already late. The staff left one after the other for the sweet old home time. All while he was still sitting there in his chair in a daze.

A knocked on the door and his a.s.sistant, Tseng Kuan-Yin's head pop in from the door. "Hey boss, if there's nothing else for me to do, I will leave first is that alright?"

"Sure thing." He replied. He's not a man with a lot of words. But he is competent in his line of work. As the president of a significant enterprise company. He has a lot of work to do. Even though his a.s.sistant does most of the work, he still has a lot of doc.u.ments to look over and sign, and with Jiang Fei's disappearance also thought it had been two years, he'll need to take over until he could find a proper replacement that he can trust like Jiang Fei.

The plane disappearance was ma.s.sive news in the country, but peoples' lives must always go on, with work seeming endless. Yang Tian-Xu wanted to take a break for just a moment. He thought about if he was the one that was supposed to be on that flight, he would have been missing instead of Jiang Fei. "Life is just too short…" as he thought of these words, the girl smile appears in his mind again.

He took his laptop and a USB drive and place them in his suitcase, as he left his office the entire floor already emptied as he walked out.

The current time was 5:32 pm as he walked into his car in the underground parking lot. He got in and started the engine, and he drove out to the gate, he paused for a minute to remember the girl from this afternoon. He thought about how bright her smile was as she helped the elder lady pus.h.i.+ng the cart, and how sweet her smile was as she pats the dog's head.

As he shook his head, he thought to himself again. "What the heck am I thinking about?!" Feeling a bit frustrated with himself, he lifted both his hands up to ruffle his hair. Then he closed his eyes for a minute. He calmed down and continued to drive himself home.

An expensive car, with a costly mansion on the hill, he looked as if he was born of a wealthy family, which he is.

Yang Tian-Xu, the only heir of the Yang Family household. His shoulder bears a lot of pressure. The Yang Family has many years of history since the Song Dynasty. However, now their family is one of those of the powerhouse in China, this pressure is like ten more tunes on his shoulders.

Among them, there were three other households with power equal to theirs. These families are the Tong, Pan, and Cheung family.

The Pan Family and the Yang Family were sworn enemies since the Song Dynasty. It may have been almost a thousand years but to them both. They would forever be sworn enemy.

However, they are both semi-related now through the Cheung Family. The Cheung Family has two daughters and a son. The First daughter was married to Pan Rong, the head of the Pan Family, and the second daughter was married to the Yang Family's eldest son, Yang Fei-Hung. Cheung Lan-Er is Yang Tian-Xu's mother.

When comparing the Cheung Family to the ancient time Emperor, this differential would have been too significant. However, for a big city like City Y, they are the most powerful because the current mayor of City Y is Cheung Wai-Ma, who is the head of the Cheung Family.

Yang Tian-Xu is the mayor's grandson. This relations.h.i.+p gives the Yang family a significant boost in power. However, the Pan family was not much different regarding power. However, unlike Cheung Lan-Er, her sister Cheung Yun-Er is in fact, childless, enough though she is the eldest daughter of Mayor Cheung.

Yang Tian-Xu is considered to be the mayor's only grandson. However, he still has a son, Cheung Yun Bo. He is someone who is currently unmarried and had no intention to get married any time soon.

Cheung Lan-Er is worried about her son, Yang Tian-Xu that he will stay unmarried like his uncle. She wanted very much for Tian-Xu to marry someone she could be proud. Someone, who is like Tong Yue-Yan. She belongs to another powerhouse as well.

The Tong Family has more power in City A than they do in City Y; however, they are still thriving in City Y as one of the four largest Family-operated business in City Y, and their family head is currently the Mayor for City A. The second largest City in the Country. If Yang Tian-Xu marries Tong Yue-Yan, it would be like a cherry on top of a treat. It would be just too perfect.

Yang Tian-Xu opened up the front door and was greeted by his mother as he walked in. Cheung Lan-Er has Tong Yue-Yan with her as a house guest. Both his parent and Tong Yue-Yan sat together in the living room chit chatting while having tea and biscuits that Tong Yue-Yan had brought with her as gifts from City A.

"Tian-Xu, my son. You sure are home so late today." She gave him a disapproving look for being so late. She still gives the impression that she was worried about him and asked, "Did something happened at the company?"

"Mother, it's only 6 PM, it is still pretty early. I have a few more things to work on at the company before I could come home." He said, as he hugged his mother, she would give him a peck on the cheek, as he is her one and only child.

It was true that he was a bit later than usual if it weren't because of his thoughts about the girl today he wouldn't have dozed off at every red light and consistently getting honked. But for that reason, he would keep to himself.

"You remember Yue-Yan right?" his mother asked as she places her hands on Tong Yue-Yan's shoulders. "She just came from City A today, and drop by to give us a visit."
