Ezra was facing away from the table and toward the door when Kanji threw an apple with great speed at her. Ezra heard something coming towards her quickly. She didn't have time to dodge the apple, so she caught it in her hand. Everyone didn't notice at first that kanji threw the apple but when a small gust of wind came pa.s.s they turned toward Erza and saw that she caught it . They was amazed that everyone was sure that Kanji threw the apple very hard and yet she didn't seem to be in pain. Later that day Erza and Prince Van met up to talk. "I came in here to try to everything with you but I see you don't want to work it out . You just want to be bitter and hateful towards me so I think it best you leave, "Novella said.

Novella left the room and went to the dressing room to get ready for the ball. Everyone was getting ready to go to the ball and enjoy the company of others. The only problem was that novella couldn't fit into her dress she kept trying it on.

Prince Van saw her coming down the stairs and walked over to the main staircase to meet up with her. He reached his hand out and waited for her to take it. When she got to the bottom of the stairs she took his hand then he leads her onto the dance floor.

They danced even though Erza wasn't that good at getting the attention, Erza and Novella didn't like that she felt betrayed by her sister. It was supposed to be her night but instead everyone was paying attention to Ezra. She began to hate her sister for the night then she planned to get even for being mistreated. Soon the ball ended and Novella went back to her room. Her room wasn't that far from Ezra's room. Novella was so upset that she left the door open a little bit.

Prince Van genuinely liked Ezra however his friends started to joke on him about Erza because he liked her so much. He felt like he had to prove himself to his friends that he could still be a womanizer. However, all his pa.s.ses at Ezra had failed because she was waiting for marriage, even though Van was going to marry her he couldn't wait for her any longer.
